Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

We enjoyed the quiet serenity of the cabin in the woods. The cabin was perfect in size and fully stocked for our needs. It was beyond clean when we arrived and all the beautiful mushrooms in the yard was a plus! We enjoyed a hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park there in Cosby and the apple orchards. We would highly recommend the Mountain Laurel cabin for a perfect quiet mountain retreat!

First time staying, it definitely won’t be your last.

This property was perfect for our Anniversary. Cozy Cozy. The perfect get away. Cleanliness was just what we were looking for and we got just that .Hot tub was a plus.

Perfect Getaway!

Secluded, Quiet, clean and easy to get to. This cabin is just far enough away from the 'fray' of Gatlinburg but close enough if you feel the need to buy an airbrushed T-shirt and a few swords:) We brought most of our own food and cooked some great meals then went into town once and had dinner out. We would definitely rent this place again, just watch out for the spiral stairs, after your 4th hot tub margarita, they're easy to walk into :).....

Cabin ok but not for a family

We reserved this cabin because it was advertised as being for 4 people and we were looking for a place that could accommodate my family including two kids. Pros: The cabin itself was very clean and easy to get to. The property management was quick to reply and help. Cons: It was not set up for 4 people - there were only two dining chairs and no pillows for the pullout couch. The upstairs loft was very warm, but it was not possible to have the ceiling fan on without all the lights. Several outlets didn’t work and it wasn’t possible to watch different things on the TV downstairs and the TV in the loft. The hot tub was very scummy.

Hidden jewel

My husband and I went for our 17th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect level of seclusion but a short drive to anything we wanted to go to. The cabin was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. It was the cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here again.

Cute little cabin

We were very happy with our stay! The cabin is in pristine condition, probably one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. My husband was apprehensive about the location of the cabin at first (it is 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge) but quickly changed his mind. Driving from both cities, which were extremely busy, we were so happy with the quiet, little town of Cosby. It felt like we were on our own mountain, we barely saw anyone else while there. Our girls had fun playing in the snow and in our surrounding wooded areas. The cabin is close to many hiking options too. The hot tub was very clean and in great condition. We only had one issue with the gate lock (it was so cold it froze). We called the property manager (Christmas day!) and he answered and was very helpful and polite. We highly recommend this property!

Relaxation at its finest

Loved the secluded vibe without the extensive drive. The kitchen had everything you would need for basic meals and was very clean. Hot tub was also clean which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Just what we needed

Highly recommend! What a gem! REALLY well done cabin reno (and I’m a Property Manager!). Not too country and not too “bears bears everywhere,” although the humongous 5 point Elk hanging above the mantle was a bit to take in for a small cabin lol, but we got used to it and named him. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need, everything was really comfortable (although the mattress is probably ready for an update) and the hot tub is wonderful. Nice huge porch, side and rear deck, nice new grill, big driveway, even a security gate if you want to lock yourself up. Nice gas fireplace, bathroom, and utility room. Would be great for a small family even where kids take the sofa bed. Looking forward to possibly coming back here for a ski trip for Ober Gaitlinburg this winter if it can manager to stay cold enough this year! Owner is very nice and responsible. Two pieces of advice - if you’re looking for absolute solitude and peace and quiet this might not be the place for you, there seemed to be a pretty steady flow of the same work traffic up and down the road all day long - for a back mountain road there was a lot going on back here and a lot of eyes around. Second, save yourself some money and avoid VBRO fees and book direct with Cosby Cabins!

It was a great stay we enjoyed the cabin and the secludedness it was just overall great.

It was easy but to find the cabin took us like 45 minutes but overall everything was great..
