Once again, a great trip! This is the third year we’ve stayed in these houses. Houses are tucked away enough to be away from everyone else, but we biked or walked to get coffee in the morning and some of us even biked to the beach. We comfortably fit 12 adult sized people - my sister’s family and mine. Houses have everything in the kitchen to eat in and comfy beds, it’s cute and clean, and the hosts are great! We’re already talking about next year.

Another Great Stay

We are very comfortable at the cottage. Lots of games and things to do while staying in, and plenty of options in the local area. Smores by the fire during a light snow was great!

Both of our rentals were perfect! Plenty of parking, both units had everything the six of us needed! Nice deck with grill, furniture and again perfect! Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Bath rooms were plenty big, nice showers and plenty of towels. Washer and dryer were a plus as we did laundry and the machines were modern and clean. Welcome gift bags were a very nice surprise. Tv and streaming, WiFi all great.

Perfect Location for Extended Family

The properties are quite comfortable for a large group. We had nine family members and the two units provided enough space for all of use to gather together inside or outside, and privacy when needed. John and Adriana are thoughtful hosts and make us feel welcome. Our go to location in Michigan.

The accommodations were both practical and beautiful for our family vacation (6 adults and 4 kids - ages 6mo to 6 yr). We had everything we needed - for at home and at the beach. Close to a number of beaches - we spent our time at Berrien which was perfect for the kids. Having the two spaces was very convenient. The owners provided prompt responses to all of our questions. It was easy to feel at home - we hope to return!

Amazing weekend getaway!

I highly recommend this property. It was so clean and the host really thought of everything. My family loved the location close to beaches, wineries and local farms. The host also had a variety of sports equipment (volley ball, soccer, football) as well as board games that the kids had a blast with. And the back yard was large enough to let the kids run around in while we grilled and made a fire pit. Will definitely be staying again.

Great place in Union Pier

John and Adriana were great hosts. The property was perfect for our family of 5. The house was clean and very cutely decorated. A gift bag of two bottles of wine and ingredients for s'mores were a very classy touch! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. We can't wait to come back.

Fantastic Property !!

Loved our trip !! Owners were very thoughtful on how they remodeled the place . Bring some clothes and you’re all set, everything else is taken care of for you. Five minute drive to some really nice Lake Michigan beaches & restaurants. If you’re into the casino life it’s a five minute drive to Four Winds . Really peaceful quiet setting . Loved it !!

Fun Weekend with the Guys

Stayed in both cottages with a group of seven long-time friends. Lots of space inside and out. We went to breweries and the beach (not necessarily in that order) during the day and cooked dinner at night, ending with a fire. Both decks and fire pits had plenty of space for entertaining. We had everything we needed for our stay. Great property and great hosts.

Union Pier Cottage

We rented both cottages for two families and it worked out perfectly. Both are updated and well appointed with kitchen, laundry room and backyard with two fire pits and a patio. The host left us a lovely bottle of rose and red wine along with a snack. Also, both cottages had a beach bag with towels and a cooler. We would defiantly stay here again.

Great Property

I stayed with my extended family for a kick off to summer vacation. The owners added a second unit that is really beautiful, well appointed and comfortable. My family stayed in the original unit, which we love. We cooked, had a fire at night (with s'mores, of course) and went to the local beach at sunset. Just a great way to start the summer.

Best equipped house I've stayed in!

We had 9 people (3 families) in the two units and it was perfect! Everything was clean, there were plenty of towels (bath & beach!) and as others have mentioned all the little things put this house over the top! Wine and chocolate covered pretzels from our hosts was so kind and since we planned on mostly eating in - all the kitchen ware and spices (yes!!!) were super helpful. It was the difference between feeling like you were staying in a home vs a hotel. Everything was really great and we enjoyed our time very much!

Fantastic!

Everything was there that we needed! Great tranquil place. Not the owners fault and maybe I missed something but the VRBO system to get ahold of the owner about a quick question could be better. Email system stated no reply and VRBO system did not work for contacting owner. Otherwise all that stayed would all stay again. Awesome place!!!

Our sanctuary.

We've been fortunate enough to witness the evolution this safe haven has had to offer. Nothing brings our friends and family such peace as much as our yearly trips to this wonderful sanctuary do. If peace and tranquility are what you seek here is where you will find it. There are also many places to visit as well if you prefer to be out and about. Well? What are you waiting for? Book your next trip now! :)
