Chambres d'hôtes Serenity Hill - Private Cottage Guest House

Votre cottage d'entrée privée à Serenity Hill est niché dans des chênes et des cèdres.
Situé juste sur la boucle qui relie Wimberley à Blanco au large de l'autoroute 32.
Une partie du Texas Hill Country située sur l'épine dorsale du diable qui ressemble à quelque chose tout droit sorti d'un film du Far West.
Notre chalet a une cuisine bien équipée pour le chef en vous.
Une chambre a un lit Queen et un lit de jour qui se transforme en un lit king size.
Le pont d'observation offre une vue sur le lac Canyon et de magnifiques couchers de soleil.
Vous recevrez des petits-déjeuners gratuits en utilisant nos œufs fermiers biologiques fermiers ainsi que des fruits souvent cueillis ici même sur Serenity Hill.
Nous fournissons WIFI gratuit - chaînes de télévision de base et parking gratuit. Si vous souhaitez apporter un bateau, nous avons également de la place pour le garer facilement.
Vous ne pouvez pas vous rendre au pays par autoroute, mais notre route de campagne lente vous amènera directement sous la surveillance des cerfs, des roadrunners, des lapins et d'autres animaux sauvages!

Serenity cottage

We enjoyed relaxing for a week in this cute, cozy cottage. We especially enjoyed spending time on the deck looking at the lake and beautiful sunsets. Marilyn was such a sweet host and took care of anything we needed right away.

Little slice of heaven

Serenity was a lovely place to stay, perfect for a couple! The cottage had everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub. The property is tucked away and super quiet and private. We hung out in the shady lady lounge our first night and enjoyed the AMAZING sunset and playing giant Jinga! Marilyn is a perfect host, very accommodating and easy to work with. We are looking forward to another visit in this peaceful setting.

Disappointing

From the horrible road to get to the property to the house not having internet (which we need for our business) or the water that smelled like sulphur, it was a big disappointment. The host Marilyn was very nice and communicated well, but the cottage is not worth the price they are asking. I couldn’t bathe, brush my teeth or even turn the water on because it smelled so bad. The property was cute but kind of dumpy and could use a deep clean. Won’t be going back.

Nice and quiet little place

Went for our 30th anniversary, enjoyed our stay and all the attractions it had to offer, the cottage was somewhat clean, still had alot of dust in some areas, the toilet was very wobbly and loose each time you sat on it but we still had a enjoyable time and will definitely be going back

Quaint little cottage

We had a wonderful time using Marilyn's cottage as a homebase for our weekend adventures. Hot tub was soothing after our hikes.

Perfect!!!

Super Hosts! Everything was perfect and we will be returning the next chance we get. This was our 15 yr wedding anniversary and we couldn't have asked for more. Marilyn and crew were on it! Printed our concert tickets and had them waiting on the bed. They gave us total privacy and respect. The game room was awesome! We lost track of our worries here! Can't say enough about the view, the amenities, the coziness and of course our hosts!

A PERFECT GETAWAY

I can't describe our time at Serenity BnB any other way than absolutely amazing. Everything from the personal touches left for us by Marilyn, to the UNBEATABLE VIEW, to the fun game room area...it was beyond anything we could have asked for. I was a little confused checking in, just because those instructions had not been provided, and I was also a little thrown off to find out the hot tub was at the host's house and not the BnB cottage. However, Marilyn answered my questions (late at night, I might add) and everything worked out perfectly. We already want to come back.

Exactly what we needed

My husband and I were looking for a place to unwind and that is exactly what we had! A hot tub, fire pit, a place to watch the sunset, a game room and close to Wimberly! Marilyn was sweet and attentive to our needs!!

The best B&B ever!

Marilyn Baxter was the best host/manager. We felt so comfortable there and felt like we never left home. We were so relaxed and comfortable. We can’t say enough good things about her and her property.

Great getaway!

If you want to get away from it all (and I mean IT ALL) come visit Serenity Hill! The house is cozy, the pool and back porch/deck were a great way to unwind, access to the hot tub as much as we wanted, and some delicious fresh farm eggs. The lounge was awesome and we had a great time playing darts, cards, and dominoes! Marilyn was super responsive to everything we needed. 10/10 would visit again!

Out Of Town But Close To EVERYTHING

Great getaway spot for anyone looking to be close to all of the hill country activities but also wanting your privacy. Great communication and excellent service!

Great place for a getaway.

Nice, out of the way, but close enough to all the places we wanted to see (Natural Bridge Caverns, Canyon Lake, All Hill Country Views). The host was very nice, and extremely helpful. The guest house was cozy, with a view of the valley, toward the lake. The main house, where the hot tub is located, gave a better view of the lake, and a great view of the sunset, and all the stars. Highly recommend this place.

Home away from home

We had an amazing week despite almost everything around us being closed. We knew that going there though. We would have loved to go explore more, but given the current situation of the world, we were fine just staying at the cottage and getting away from it all. Everything was great, peaceful, and cozy. The views are amazing and the sunsets are awesome! We can't wait to come back again and get away from it all again. Thanks for everything!!!

Peaceful retreat in Texas Hill Country

We loved having Serenity Hill as a base for exploring Central Texas. Marilyn was a great host, and we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. Recommended getaway!

Hello I am Marilyn. Born and raised in Texas.
I have been in the hospitality business most of my adult career. I have owned and operated a full service catering business and coordinated events from 12 to 1000 guests. After catering I expanded and opened a retail florist also specializing in weddings and corporate events. I enjoy meeting guests at my bed and breakfast.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My dream was to retire to the Texas Hill Country.
I have made my private entry guest house in to a cozy private cottage nested in the woods.
you will often see deer and other wildlife.
I have raised chickens , turkeys, peafowl, and keep a garden.
The viewing deck is a great place to enjoy the sunset and see Canyon Lake.
there is plenty of parking if you want to bring your boat and trailer too.
I have been hosting my cottage for seven years and have met and made many new friends from so many places.

From here at Serenity Hill you are about 1 mile from the Devils Backbone Tavern and minutes away from Gruene for shopping and music, about 7 miles to Wimberley Square for shopping and music, Blanco Vinyards, local wineries and only nine miles to float the Guadalupe River and 3 miles from Canyon Lake to name a few destinations.
Located on the Famous Devil's Backbone.
A portion of The Texas Hill Country that looks like something straight out of a Wild West Movie.
