Profitez de la beauté du lac Kootenay depuis cette nouvelle maison au bord de l'eau construite sur mesure! La maison offre 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain dans un style contemporain ouvert. Il est parfait pour une escapade en famille ou jusqu'à deux couples.
Funston Cabin est situé dans le pittoresque village de Procter et est disponible pour des locations de vacances à la semaine. La grande salle a une vue imprenable sur le lac avec 3 ensembles de portes françaises ouvrant sur la grande terrasse. La chambre principale dispose d'un lit king-size avec une vue imprenable à l'ouest et d'une salle de bains privative comprenant une baignoire profonde japonaise donnant sur le lac. La chambre à l'étage a deux lits queen.

Our second time staying here…..it’s home away from home, and truly one of our most favourite places to be!Always clean and comfortable, and a short drive to any needed amenities……..but once there, who wants to leave?!

Amazing Upscale Cabin Right on the Beach! Best VRBO!

Awesome stay from checkin to checkout. Perhaps the best VRBO we have stayed in. Very clean, upscale with lots of great art and quality comfortable furniture. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom are surrounded by windows and french doors with incredible views of the lake. The huge wrap around deck has the same. Very private and quiet with your own dock to relax on or park the boat. Cant say enough about this fantastic retreat and the host Ted always available and helpful. I give Teds place my highest recommendation to anyone I know and we will certainly be back!

Everything was amazing, Ted was easy to communicate with, the condition of the home was excellent, very well stocked for everything we needed, with exception of a can opener, but everything else was perfect. Thanks for the great stay

A great weekend getaway

We loved our stay at this location, despite a very rainy weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on the patio looking over the water, and watching the ferry go by. There is a large Japanese soaking tub that fills shockingly quickly, and water that stays warm while filling the large tub. A beautiful view, and we managed to squeeze in a campfire and some swimming on the last day.Important notes: there is a train that goes by the property everyday twice a day, that has to honk at the intersection. Can be quite scary at first, but you get used to it.Upon our arrival there were a lot of spiders within the property, which can’t really be avoided with a more remote location, but one of us has arachnophobia, and struggled a bit to get comfortable. The property is shared, with two vacation rentals on the same lot. We didn’t have anyone else on the property during our weekend, but may be important for other renters to know during busier weekends Overall though, we really loved our time and are already thinking of when we would like to return!

Absolutely stunning view. The ferry staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. And our hosts were quick to respond to inquiries and ensured an easy check in process with helpful instructions on house amenities. We had to go buy our own can opener and there was issue with stink bugs around the house & in our beds. So we had to re wash bedding but other than

The house is great, price is good, kitchen is well equipped. 2 things were annoying: having to haul garbage out to dump & waiting to leave on the last day for the laundry to finish as requested.

We'll stay again!

Great location near Balfour and Nelson. Usage of the dock was key for our boat. The property was very comfortable and well appointed. Parking was a little tight, but manageable. Thanks, we loved the location and views on Kootenay Lake.

Proctor property in ferry land

The house is lovely, main floor is spacious open concept and master bedroom is wonderful. Upstairs bedroom has 2 double beds, and is like a lift, no closet, could not open window to air out the space as window lever was broken. Be sure to pack your computer for movie night, as there is no TV. Enquire if there is an Advisory to boil water, if so pack lots of bottled water. Was surprised there was no garbage pick-up and finding the transfer station was time consuming and costly. Found mouse droppings, in kitchen so bring food storage containers to keep food safe.

Beautiful home on Kootenay Lake

We had a bit of a snafu with our reservation but once we were able to connect with the owner everything worked out and we were able to have a great stay. Ted is a gracious and wonderful host. His family home is beautifully designed and comfortable. The views are gorgeous and they truly have a piece of paradise there in Procter, BC. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake. I highly recommend this place for a family or friend’s vacation.

Beautiful location and house

This is a great place to get away from everything. Very nice fully equipped house in a beautiful lake front location. You can watch the ferries come and go. Highly recommended. Ted was very helpful.

THE PLACE TO BE

If it's beauty, tranquility and relaxation you're looking for, this is the place to be. Beautiful home, quiet surroundings, stunning views. Beds are comfy, kitchen well equipped, fireplace. Only thing missing was a medium size cooking pot. so no big deal. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will return.

Family Friendly Vacation

We really loved this spot on Kootenay lake! It was quiet, private and perfect for our annual family vacation. Awesome private beach for the kids with a great dock for jumping off. The ferry does go by every 30-40 mins but it’s quiet and becomes part of the scenery. The cabin was bright, clean and spacious. We so appreciate pet friendly homes and we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed endless days of swimming. Ted was a fantastic host - very communicative and quick with responses. We really enjoyed our time at Kootenay lake this summer! Highly recommend!

Wonderful cabin rental

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Beautiful wrap around deck has gorgeous views of the lake and is gated which is especially helpful if you have dogs or small children. The cabin is well stocked with every kitchen item you could ever need, supplies like washing detergent, paper towels, garbage bags and helpful items like a hairdryer, binoculars, games and puzzles. All you need to bring is soft lawn chairs (although there are two super-soft loungers). There are excellent fishing spots just a few minutes from the cabin by boat or even off the dock. The dock has recently been rebuilt and is shared with the rental cabin next door. Beach is a nice mix of small rocks and sandy spots. We were able to park 2 SUVs and a small boat trailer, but it's a tight fit. If you are bringing a boat we would suggest the Sunshine Bay boat launch on the road between the ferry landing and the cabin. Communication with the owner was great. Looking forward to returning again soon.
