The pictures accurately reflect the home we enjoyed. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores nearby. Walking to the Zoo and Lincoln Park was an easy 10 or 15 minutes.
This was our second stay at this row house and we are already planning another. The house is perfect for a gathering of our adult children and grandchildren. The location is awesome - walking distance to parks, restaurants, ice cream parlor, and even the zoo. Extremely close to public transportation. House is well equipped with everything you need. Large dining table is perfect for sharing a meal and playing games!
Lovely townhome with plenty of space for a large family gathering. Kitchen well equipped and large dining table! Two outdoor patios -a little tough to hear when the train rolls by, but great space! Note that there are stairs to all sleeping areas.
Stephanie is a great host. The stay was wonderful. We love the true Chicago character of the house with modern amenities but the old architectural charm was left intact. We liked the energy of being close to the school, great shopping and dining. Even the "Chicago charm" of the Red Line shuffling past is fun and not too loud to keep you awake. Plus catching the Red Line could not have been easier as it was just two blocks away. Really ideal location for catching a Cubs game or heading into downtown. Just a great place and we appreciate you sharing it with us.
This Lincoln Park Row House is incredibly beautiful and spacious. The location is ideal. Our family including adult children and 2 grandchildren walked to the zoo and took public transportation for a quick two stop away trip to Wrigleyville. Weâve already booked it again for a summer getaway.
This was a wonderful location and home for a low-key bachelorette weekend! Walkable to tons of wonderful restaurants - beautifully maintained home. We had 7 ladies stay comfortably. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful! Parking was surprisingly easy.
We stayed at this property with our family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from DePaul University. It was perfect for that as the school is across the street! Stephanie was so helpful and responsive and we would recommend this property to any family!
This home was a wonderful place to stay in Chicago! We loved the neighborhood and the listing photos of this home do not do justice for how beautiful it is. The host was very accommodating and friendly to work with. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, safe place to stay and personally would love to stay here again.
We had an excellent experience. The house is perfect and the location is excellent. Lots of great restaurants and shops in walking distance. The owner is cordial and helpful. It is priced appropriately. Kitchen is fully stocked. The neighborhood was safe and clean. Our entire family (plus a French visitor) highly recommend.
Host was terrific. Easy and direct communication. House was as presented. Well equipped, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Location: easy access to shops and city on train.
Little things let it down - missing or broken lights, squeaky doors.
A bit noisy with the L on back fence, but we did know that.
The house is a beautiful, historic place that is very well maintained. The location is perfect to explore Lincoln Park and the city of Chicago. The linens were all very new which we appreciated. We used the kitchen for family meals and enjoyed playing games on the deck and in the dining room. We would stay there again.
Beautiful home in a great location with all the Lincoln Park charm!!!
My large family stayed here over the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas in this home. The location was perfect and the place had enough bedrooms and seating to accommodate a large group of people. The house was very clean and had old Lincoln Park charm in terms of architecture. Stairs are pretty steep so had to be careful with the younger kids and older adults. Train is close to house but noise was only noticeable in basement bedrooms. Kids could sleep through it but for those not used to city living may not like the noise. Would highly recommend for those getting together with a big group. Enjoy!
Lots of room and had everything we needed. Comfortable place to stay for our two families with young children (ages 6 - 11). Stephanie was responsive to our questions. Great location--near restaurants, ice cream, and the El.
Perfect stay for 9 of us on a girls weekend. Walking distance to get spots, plus so close to the L. The house is beautiful and the bathrooms so accommodating for us women! Loved everything about it.
We had an a fantastic stay at this beautiful, unique property. Plenty of room for our family - the extra sleeping space in the basement is amazing as is the bathroom. The kitchen was nicely stocked, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and linens and bath towels. The rooftop patio was perfect and ideal for a view of air show practice. Love the neighborhood. Stephanie is an excellent host- responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this property. Close to the L but if you know that going in itâs fine- and didnât disturb anyoneâs sleep!
Thank you, Stephanie!
Slept 10 adults comfortably. Kitchen well supplied. Bathrooms very modernized.
Noise from the el train no joke though. Light sleepers need to be in the basement to get any rest
What a beautiful house in Lincoln Park. This was a perfect place for our extended family gathering (7 adults 3 kids) - walkable to a number of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, bars, parks, and the metro. The house itself is great, we loved how so many of the original finishings and styles were kept in the house. Stephanie was great to communicate with, very responsive and friendly! I would definitely recommend this house for a fun visit to Chicago!!!
