We had a wonderful time me and my wife and two year old. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. The hot tub was very hot and even had lovely smelling vines around it. The decor was tasteful and seaside vibes. Cannot recommend it enough!

This a beautiful well maintained home. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. Everything was wonderful. The home is extremely close to the beach and the walk is really nice. Very close to restaurants and shopping as well. Very cozy and comfortable place to stay.

Great amenities!

First impression was great, clean, floor plan had an open feel, nice renovations, welcoming decor, comfortable beds. Outdoor hot tub and shower were a plus! Hosts were very responsive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

Second time our family stayed here. Hosts are great, house is in impeccable condition and location is A + (3 min walk to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby). Overall a great place to stay in OBX!

Vacation paradise

It made our vacation better; it was like home away from home. The cute decor the flowers the fenced in yard with grass was amazing ! The house was stocked, clean, and just all around amazing. Would definitely stay here again :)

Great Stay

The house is clean and well cared for with fun decorations and a beautiful kitchen. The back yard is amazingly private and unlike most of the other houses in the area. Having the fenced and private back yard is great with little kids and the hot tub is perfect.

Mother’s 80th birthday celebration

My family of 5 just stayed in this super cute, beautifully maintained property to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday! Host was easy to communicate with and responded readily. House was well stocked with the basics and more! Great sitting areas in both the front yard and porch areas. Great backyard space with a hot tub. So close to beach access and centrally located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills! We had a wonderful experience !

Wonderful and close to everything

I loved the house! It was perfect for everything that we needed for our short trip over the holidays to the beach. Cindi was wonderful to work with and easy to contact. The house is so close to the beach and then close to everything in Kitty Hawk and was super clean!! It was such a great stay!

Cannot get enough of this place!

The beach cottage was beautiful! Short walk to the beach! Very clean upon arrival. Well stocked with necessities.. the back yard was gorgeous!! We will stay with John and Cindi again!!

Summer vaca

The property was as described and pictured! These days that’s hard to believe. My boys and I lived the place and its proximity to beach and activities. We will stay there again if we are I the outer banks.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was perfect for our family, especially with the fenced back yard where the kids could play. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and had everything you might need. They even had beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, and a wagon to transport everything to the beach, which was just a few mins walk. We will definitely be booking another stay here!

Summer Vacation

The property is great and well stocked with plates, utensils, pots, and even paper towels. The house is very close to the beach and many cool eateries. The host was easy to reach and addressed any questions in a timely manner. We have created amazing family memories and our stay at the Lively Up Yourself house made it a wonderful vacation in OBX!

This little home instantly caught my attention online for multiple reasons, but it's somehow even cuter in person. Great decor inside and out, close proximity to beach, convenience store, and restaurants, plus a quiet neighborhood. We instantly felt comfortable here. Good communication with host, super clean, and just all around a great rental property. . here and very much enjoyed our stay.

What a fantastic, relaxing week we had! Cindi had the cottage in beautiful shape & we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We love this cottage & look forward to our visit each June. Marvelous backyard

Best property we’ve stayed at. High end finishes, stocked with anything you could need and more, only a block from the beach. Standouts include multiple outdoor spaces from front patio to picnic table, hammock, hot tub, and enclosed front porch. Extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely return.
