The property was incredibly spacious; the pictures don't do it justice. There was plenty of room for myself and my teenage son. It was very convenient to the stables as well as the grocery store and a great coffee house - 60 Beans.
We had a great experience here. When we had questions about check-in, we were answered promptly and kindly. The apartment was the perfect space for our family of 4. The location was easy to get to, and even being off of a main roadway, it was quiet. It was about 30 minutes to everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely recommend for an easygoing stay.
This apartment was perfect for our visit to Carson Newman University. The area as a whole doesn't offer much, but we were there for the college and this apartment is the closest by. The apartment looks as if it was recently redone with modern decor & furnishings. The owners have thought of everything down to every detail- even an extra light up makeup mirror. I felt safe & secure in the apartment. There was plenty of space. Shawn was very great at communicating everything and quick to respond to my questions. If my son commits to CNU this will hands down be where I stay each time we visit!
We were satisfied with the whole experience and the property. We were a little nervous because it was our first time acquiring a property through VRBO. We will definitely do it again.

My husband and I stayed here for the Thanksgiving holidays for some alone time. The apartment was very nice with modern decor and pretty much everything we needed. We were about 35 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which has lots to do. Knoxville was about 25 minutes away. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. My only concern initially was the location of the apartment, it's in back of the Dept of Children's Services. That threw us for a loop but the owner guided us right to the door. All was fine and private. Great place to stay for the price.
I stay at this apartment several times a year for work. It is great! Always clean and well maintained. The owners are great to work with, and the location is close to everything and yet there is very little noise to disturb your stay.
The Perfect Hideaway Getaway for the Jefferson City Area!
This is the second time we've stayed at the apartment offered by Shawn Wilmoth and the second time we've been blown away by this perfect space. At first sight, the visitor thinks, "Huh? It's where?" Once inside, however, the large, open space, soothing colors and comfortable amenities make me want to stay forever. I'm torn about espousing the benefits of this apartment because I selfishly want it to ALWAYS be open to us when we're in the area for my daughter's horse shows. We have absolutely zero reason to stay elsewhere when she's showing at River Glen. Jefferson City is just over the hill, with restaurants, banks, gas stations and other retail and the road to River Glen show grounds is just three and a half miles down 11E.
The apartment is always pristine, with plenty of linens available, a full kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Shawn Wilmoth is super easy to work with and is very flexible and helpful. He is ALWAYS patient when I ask him -- each and every time -- "now HOW do you get in?"

I needed a place to visit in East Tennessee when visiting my parents. I must say that I have found "a home away from home". The apartment is comfortable and clean with all the amenities you could ask for. This area is quiet yet centrally located to shopping, lakes, restaurants and best of all the Smokies. The owners are nice, friendly and so helpful! They really care about making your stay a pleasant and comfortable one. This will definitely will be my choice of place to stay when I visit. I am so thankful we found this hidden gem! Why would anyone stay in a hotel when you could stay here?
My daughter and I came for 9 days for the Riverglen horse show. We were looking for a place close to the show that was safe and comfortable. That is exactly what we found. The apartment had all of the comforts we were looking for and was a sort drive to our location. The property owner is very nice and helpful in every way ! I highly recommend this property especially for business travelers who need plenty of room to work and relax.
We stayed two nights and are satisfied with the room. Shawn was always reachable for any concerns and was really helpful. And groceries/gas are all nearby.

Our family owns and operates commercial and residential property in the area of Jefferson City. We love to travel and bring back design ideas from all the places we go. We love europe and the simplicity of layout and design of living there. We have extended those ideas in this property.
Many years ago this second story space in this building was my office space for our family business. We later moved to another location and this space remained vacant for many years. One day we just knew we could make this space special for residential stays and that's exactly what we did. We split the space into two apartments and gave them a great finish.
With frontage right on Hwy 11e our location is easy to find and easy to get to the major areas of commerce from the Sevierville areas to our local industrial cities like Morristown or Jefferson City.
Our main advantage is style and space. We have made these unit a joy to stay in and a place of relaxation. We hope you can stay with us.
