Great house for a girls weekend. Slept 12 comfortably and the pool/outdoors area is perfect.
Group of 12 women for bachelorette weekend. We never left the house. It slept 12 comfortably and the outdoor pool area was great for relaxing and grilling.
We did have problems with neither of the showers working properly, one no water at all, the other one a trickle. I contacted the owner and she sent out a plumber, who came within 2 hours. He was able to fix the one but after trying to fix the other one, it was still the same. There is a clock in every room but not one of them worked, probably needed new batteries. A new toaster is needed, the handle didnât stay down so you had to hold it down to toast anything. Also we had a little problem with teeny bugs on the counter, not a lot but a few scurrying around. None of these issues were major.
The house was large enough for our family with plenty of dishes and other kitchen items. The outdoor area was fantastic, we spent most of our time there. The owner was very prompt at getting back to us with the answers to our questions.
Pool and hot tub are lovely.
The house is nice but, the furnishings are outdated, uncomfortable and, recliners were broken.
NO WORKING INTERNET! Unable to connect or download even when directly plugged into router. Unable to even make a phone call.
The beds are awful, hard, lumpy and uncomfortable.
The kitchen while beautiful to look at, had no useable equipment. Pans are so old there is no non-stick coating left and, the knives would not cut butter. Plates were filthy, no teaspoons, coffee cups were chipped and stained and no two glasses matched.
The fridge needs repair, it continues to dispense water after the glass is removed making puddles on the floor.
Broken dead bolt on back door. Not aligned so it will not lock.
No guest book to give instructions on how to work anything. TV, Alarm, Heat.
Outdoor kitchen is not working except for the grill which has a broken ignitor and needs to be lit with a lighter also, cleaned. Fridge outside was off/broken and moldy smelled awful Constant smell of gas in backyard.. Again, no instructions on how to work anything or find the lights.
Outdoor fire pit not functioning at all. Windows were filthy.
Clocked almost 5 miles to get to center of PS and not a bike friendly community so our bike rentals were a waste of money.
Hard old towels and 2 face cloths, trashcan broken in bathroom. Insufficient toiletries and the hall bathroom shower handle is broken; the diverter is broken and will turn off mid shower.
Master bedroom shower is mildewed and there are no curtains on the windows to block the sun. AND, it would have been nice to be warned that the pool man was coming as we were a houseful of women!
Location was close to everything we wanted to be near. Very comfortable for the family. The only recommendation for this property is to label everything for easy access and use. Tv remotes, and lights...etc. similarly to the pool.
Three stars seems too high, but two is too low. The home is very spacious - the photos do not do justice. The open plan living and kitchen is great if you have a large group. After that, we had some problems. We had trouble with the spa heating and were told after mentioning it to the owner that must be that it is too cold outside. It was 50 degrees and the spa wouldnât heat above 94. To me, that is prime hot tub weather, and you should be able to enjoy it above normal body temperature. The home was constructed with cheap materials, so you could see the wear and tear in a lot of places. One of the bedrooms was clearly a converted space off the garage, and it didnât heat. The listing also claimed a Murphy bed, which we could not find. There was some trouble with the electrical in bathrooms, which was corrected within a few hours, but we had to wait for the repairman. While the dining spaces were clearly represented in the photos, it was unfortunate that a house that can sleep 12 cannot properly seat more than 6 at a table together. Kitchen was decently equipped. Cooking utensils were not what I would have at home, but they were adequate for a rental for a few days. I canât say I would provide anything nicer if I had a rental property, but if you love to cook, bring your own knives. We made it work.
The photos of this home don't really do it justice. It's big and comfortable and well stocked with anything you might need. The pool and spa were also incredible. Suzy met us when we checked in and was so nice and accommodating.
