Notre chalet est perchĂ© sur une belle crĂȘte de montagne de 14 acres entourĂ©e d'arbres et de la nature. Une belle vue sur la montagne peut ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ©e toute l'annĂ©e depuis les terrasses, le patio et plusieurs coins salons. Il y a une abondance d'oiseaux chanteurs et de papillons qui partagent le paisible patio / jardin zen situĂ© Ă  quelques pas de la porte arriĂšre. Il y a deux ponts pour les grillades et les repas en plein air. Cette charmante maison de vacances est idĂ©ale pour un petit groupe, des couples en retraite, une famille avec des enfants ou une escapade romantique Ă  partager avec une personne spĂ©ciale de votre vie. Cet adorable chalet de montagne de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complĂštes est meublĂ© avec goĂ»t. Il dispose d'une grande cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e spacieuse et comprend un four micro-ondes et lave-vaisselle. Il y a une salle Ă  manger sĂ©parĂ©e, un salon avec TV HD et une taniĂšre confortable avec une cheminĂ©e Ă  bois indĂ©pendante. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  6 adultes et dispose de 2 unitĂ©s de couchage supplĂ©mentaires pour les enfants.
Le jardin / patio est joliment amĂ©nagĂ© avec une fontaine, un Ă©clairage extĂ©rieur, un foyer, et dispose Ă©galement d'un espace pour les jeux extĂ©rieurs. Il est entiĂšrement clĂŽturĂ© pour la sĂ©curitĂ© des petits enfants. Le jardin est bien Ă©clairĂ© et peut donc Ă©galement ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ© le soir. Si vous Ă©coutez attentivement, vous pouvez entendre les hiboux hululer juste aprĂšs la tombĂ©e de la nuit. Les Ă©toiles et la lune semblent si brillantes dans le ciel sombre et paisible des montagnes environnantes. Vous ne serez pas déçu par cette maison de montagne Ă  emporter.

Wonderful Ashville Get-Away

Cathy's home is a cozy property with a beautiful view, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and several areas for relaxed conversation. There is a lovely side garden area that would be wonderful in warmer months.We would definately stay again.

Great rental near Asheville

Property was just as expected, clean and accessible (18 minutes to downtown Asheville). Lovely wood stove and outside firepit, with a nice mountain view.

Comfortable and convenient

This house was very comfortable for us and another couple and the location was convenient to Ashville where we spent most of our time.. We did enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fire pit and there was plenty of firewood . Inside, the house was clean and well equipped. Our visit was short but enjoyable.

Top of the Mountain

At the end of the road up the mountain we found the Owl Perch - a great cabin-like 3 bedroom house that embraced the surrounding forest. 2 decks, a mini campground with fire pit out front and a beautiful "Zen" garden out back provided outdoor space for all. Inside was very comfy, well stocked and perfect for relaxation after the days activities. A quick 10-15 minute drive to all things Asheville. We highly recommend the Owl Perch!

Very nice property

My friends and I had a great experience staying at Owls Perch. The directions to get to the house were easy to follow and spot on. We arrived when it was dark outside and it was so nice that the owners have lights on the fence and porch so it was easy to see and get in. The house was very nice and clean and had all the amenities you need. My friends were especially appreciative of the Keurig and coffee provided. There was also wood for the fire pit. If you have a reason to be near Asheville and Hendersonville, it’s a great place to stay.

Blissfully perfect!

The Owl's Perch sits atop a mountain with a gorgeous view of Cold Mountain. Three bedrooms and two baths. The location is perfect for visiting Asheville, the Biltmore Estate and Winery and the Blue Ridge Mountains. We drove up Mt. Mitchell and did some hiking along the many trails. A trip to Black Mountain was very nice. Cathy, the property manager, at the Owl's Perch, was available for any issues during our stay. This place is beautifully located and remarkably spacious. There were three of us on vacation and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was great and we loved the cozy living room and comfortable beds. I would come back in a heartbeat! VRBO is awesome!!

Wonderful Getaway

We loved staying at Owl’s Perch! The house is in a peaceful, quiet location at the end of the street. We enjoyed the different seating areas, one with a Mountain View, one on the front patio and especially the one in the Zen garden at the back of the house. The house is spotless and bathrooms and bedrooms fresh and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven etc. We also loved the fire pit. Communication with Cathy, the owner, was very easy and we also met her husband, who spends a lot of time taking care of the property when there are no guests. We would definitely stay at Owl’s Perch again. We almost didn’t want to do our day tours and rather spend time reading and relaxing at the property! Thank you for a memorable family trip!

Lovely home, very clean, with all the amenities you can possibly need. Very conveniently location just outside downtown Asheville. The outdoor spaces are great. Very private, surrounded on three sides by a mountain. Wonderful view of the mountains from the front deck.We definitely recommend this home and we want to return some day to enjoy it ourselves.

A nice, cozy cottage with great views and a very relaxing garden. Only a short drive into downtown and almost anyplace you want to visit in Asheville. The host was very available and came to the rescue when I locked myself out of the house.

Beautiful property- the garden and firepit areas were lovely. It was very secluded but still a quick 4-ish minute drive to a dollar store, and 15-20 minutes to downtown Asheville. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for having us!!

WINTER STAY NEAR ASHEVILLE

I cannot say enough good things about this cozy cabin on the hilltop with a beautiful view. Fully stocked with all you need for cooking cleaning and comfort. This is our 4th stay and will continue to be our go to home near Asheville.

Very nice and cozy home.Enjoyed building a fire in the woodstove. Beautiful view from front of home. The house had everything we could have needed.. My only complaint would be that a couple of the beds were less than comfortable but overall a great place to stay .

Nice Girls' Weekend

I stayed here with two friends. We each had a comfortable bedroom and there were two baths. We enjoyed the different outdoor living spaces very much. There's a great firepit with mountain views, a sweet garden space, and two porches with picnic tables. We had all the basics for cooking, including both electric and charcoal grills. I would return.

Beautiful Property

We had a very nice stay on this beautiful property. We enjoy relaxing out on the deck with beautiful view of the Smokey Mountains. The kitchen and house was stock nicely with everything that we needed. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. This rental was everything we wanted and more. Perfect place for a family or friends get together. We would highly recommend it and with it being out of town it was still a short hop skip and a jump into West Asheville.

Yepper! And the view on a clear day is Spectacular! On a rainy day you are literally surrounded by clouds. An unbelievably great experience. Once inside the cabin is furnished with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. The living room, dining area and bedrooms are very comfortable. There are not enough positive words available to describe Cathy Moores HOSPITALITY!

Hello: My name is Cathy Moore and I am the owner of Owls Perch Cottage, I am a native of Western North Carolina and currently live in Asheville. I grew up on a small farm in the Mills River community and graduated from college with a degree in horticulture and landscaping. I love to bike, hike, and garden. Outdoor photography is one of my favorite hobbies. And with the abundance of wildlife, birds, waterfalls, streams, and colorful seasons it is easy to always find something to fill the frame.

I have a great love and appreciation for the mountains and am very grateful for my heritage. To own a place where others can come to stay and enjoy this lovely area is such a privilege. With the 4 seasons and comfortable climate, it can truly be enjoyed year round.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Beautiful mountain views can be enjoyed year- round from the decks and several sitting areas. There is an abundance of songbirds, wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife that share the 14 area mountain ridge. A completely fenced backyard with a patio/garden is so relaxing and just steps out the back door. There are two decks for grilling and outdoor dining. This lovely vacation home get-a-way is great for a small group, couples retreat, a family with children or a romantic get-a-way to share with a special person in your life. Owls Perch is close to several area wedding. This cottage is an easy drive to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, Maggie Valley, Harrah's casino, and Cherokee Indian Reservation. Outlet shopping, Antiquing, and or course beautiful waterfalls, tons of hiking and biking trails, zip-line, golfing fishing and skiing. The list goes on and on.
