The gravel road getting to house was washed out and one part was steep for a smaller vehicle to get in and out of area. House and property was excellent and very enjoyablel!
The location of this property is great. Family had a wonderful stay at this remodeled mobile home. I do have to caution everyone on the road to the property is a very steep and hilly rock road. If you have a boat you do not want to try to pull it to the house. You can put you boat in at Clearwater Marina. We will be staying here again.
Overall this place was great! We stayed the weekend with our adult children and had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone. Our property manager was great and answered all our questions and concerns!! The only downsides were the road in and out, you definitely need a lifted vehicle, and the only swimming was off the dock so it was harder for little ones to be climbing in and out. It is also at the end of a party cove so if you're wanting quite the whole time this probably isn't where you would want to stay as it did get a little loud at times.
We had a great time! Location is amazing and once they put the new dock they ordered in it will be perfect! Looking forward to becoming a repeat offender lol
Terrible road in. Great deck. Ok dock. Good for boaters.
Road in was terrible - donât book in rainy season or without 4WD. Ok house with great deck. Boat dock needed spider and wasp clean-up before use , then was great for swimming or boating.
This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The location is great. It is just what we expected and a great size space for our family. It is a very comfortable house, we love the covered deck and dock. The property manager is super nice, responsive and easy to deal with.
House was okay. Need to have few more amenities in the kitchen for cooking and stuff. Needs minor improvements. Tile in master bedroom is ceramic tile and is cracked and broken, little rough on bare feet. Porch area and dock area need some TLC. Would make the stay, if you have a boat, more suitable. Dock was worn and slip was little scary. Needs a really good cleaning with power washer and weeds removed. Location is very quiet but does have a very steep and rough driveway. You would need 4 wheel drive to get in and out. Limited parking.
Located in a lake cove, the road to the location needs to be described better. If you donât have a pickup truck you may issues getting in and out of location especially if it rains. Refrigerator was not cool when arrived and took till next day to truly cool. There were several bedroom and bathroom doors that did not shut. We were disappointed with the cost compared to the quality. We have stayed at other be
Vrbo locations and paid less, but had way better quality offered. If you want to rough it this is your place since you will have to haul off your trash as well.
Some friends and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend, I was informed the boat ramp was steep and gravel and you should have a 4x4 but I missed the part where the entire driveway to get to the house was very rough (I am glad we all drove in Trucks/SUVs). The house sits in the back of the popular Dripping Springs cove and the next closest boat ramp is Clearwater Bay Marina (8min drive). The house was clean but could definitely use some attention. The back deck needs a lot of attention, the stereo doesn't work and there are nails sticking up everywhere that need to be hammered back down so make sure you always wear shoes and watch small children if they run around barefoot, the patio furniture around the firepit also needs to be replaced as they are worn down and very weathered. The stairs going down to the boat dock could use a little fixing. The boat dock is a little worn down also but our pontoon sat tied up just fine (its 16ft deep). The back deck could use power washed as there are cobwebs and leaves all over it. Given the money we spent to stay here I think the house could have been cleaned/upkept up a lot more than what it is. Daryl was very kind and called a couple days ahead of time to tell me about the house and see if I had any questions. I would consider staying here again but hope to see major improvements in the future because this home has a lot of potential.
This property is tucked into one of the best coves in Grand Lake of the Cherokee. Drippings Springs cove was the place to be to watch people jump off the cliff, and it was just far enough away from the cliff so you werenât on top of the boat party going on. It was also a perfect location to shield your swim session from the lakeâs daytime waves. We loved fishing and swimming off the dock, and the wild life and scenery were beautiful. With a life jacket on when on the dock and long staircase, it was great for our 3yo. The deck was weathered so any crawling kids or bare feet might need to be careful. The house had all the things we needed. Thereâs no wifi but that turned out to be what our family needed. Beware that the gravel Private Road leading to the house is steep in places. It may be good to have a 4x4 to get here. The property manager Daryl Ann was extremely responsive (even with our questions before our stay) and kept us in the loop with road conditions and closures in the area. This was a nice weekend!

River house
You must have vehicle that had good ground clearance and4x4 best. Very out of the way for us. Needs improvements for sure. The lady that rents it out is the best to deal with. Definitely need to put your boat in somewhere else.
The house is perfect for a boys weekend or anyone who doesnt need boujee amenities. The deck and dock are wonderful to hangout outside in and jump off of. The house had wonderful beds and a great layout.
Had a great stay, had own boat dock to fish off of. Curtis was great, if we needed anything he would answer immediately. Great secluded stay.
Thank you,
Cynthia
Plumbing leak that would flood bathroom floor anytime someone took a bath. Refrigerator storage shelving broken/missing. No television reception. Boat dock in poor condition and no electricity or lighting.
Owner needs to spend some money on repairs and updating.
we met our adult kids at this property and had a blast. Everything our host said was available. The guest from the previous stay burned out the gas grill and our host was prompt to get his charcoal grill and charcoal to use for the weekend it was our first time on grand lake but not our last the only downfall is we were not there long enough
We had a nice time on our weekend getaway to Grand Lake. The house has a great layout with plenty of space. The house was also well stocked with kitchen supplies and plenty of beach and bath towels. We had fun swimming off of the dock, watching people jump off "The Drip" from across the way, and enjoying the large deck. There are a few reasons why I can't give our stay a five star rating. The house was not as clean as we would have liked, and the bathrooms were pretty dingy (especially for the price). The hall bathtub faucet was trickling when we arrived and ran the throughout our entirety of our stay. We could not get it to turn off. I did report this to Curtiss, the property manager. The dock is also in need of some repairs. We were unable to use the gas grill. However, Curtiss was very prompt in getting back to me about the grill and even offered to bring over a temporary replacement. Overall, we had a nice time. Curtiss was quick to respond to our questions, and we enjoyed getting away.
