Ceci est moins de deux miles du centre-ville de Francfort et se trouve directement sur les 22 mile Betsie Valley piste cyclable http: // www. betsievalleytrail. org (M-22). Moins de 5 minutes en voiture (ou 15 minutes à vélo) à Elberta ou Plages Frankfort et Marinas. Marchez vers le lieu de mariage populaire Life Saving Station historique, galeries d'art, parcs riverains et agriculteurs marché hebdomadaire. Marcher un bloc de merveilleux restaurants à Elberta. Essayez le phare Café (primé petit-déjeuner) ou Conundrum Café pour le petit déjeuner / déjeuner; Mayfair Tavern ou le chou hangar pour le déjeuner / dîner et divertissements nocturnes. Our group of three families with kids ages 4-10 had a great time here! The location is convenient to beaches and sleeping bear dunes and the house is spacious for a group w fun kid features like a swing and a fire pit.

Relaxing vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the candy house! The home is cozy and the host does a great job of making sure that guests have everything they need while visiting. Located in a peaceful place and so close to the lake and all the beautiful spots in the region!

Check ln was easy, kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Wi-fi worked great. Easy access and convenient to everything. The place is a little rough but great if you have pets.

Fun in Frankfort

Had a great stay with friends in Frankfort. House was well located and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Lighthouse Cafe was a 2 minute walk and offers a fantastic breakfast.

The house was just as described, and had a lot of historic charm! It fit our group of 14 adults and children very well, and large full downstairs bathroom was great for getting kids washed up. Three of the bedrooms were fairly spacious, and the others worked well for kids. We love being close to Frankfort, and getting there by bikes or a run is easy on the beautiful path!

Lovely home for family vacation

This was our first VRBO vacation. Home was lovely, perfect for our family with room to spare. Great yard. Great location. Loved being so close to the trail for walking and biking. Communication with host was prompt and friendly.

Great location!

We appreciated the big yard for the kids and dog to play. The property is located in a quiet town close to numerous hiking trails and other tourist attractions. There was ample space for our group of 10 to relax on the porch or in the sitting room or living room to play games.

Girls Weekend in Frankfort

Location is great to do downtown Frankfort, to Lake Michigan and to Crystal Lake. We had a lovely time. Plenty of room for 8 women to sleep comfortably. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. It was a lovely location.

Perfect Women's Retreat

Thank you Michelle for allowing us to stay at the perfect place for our Women's weekend away. The house was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed a walk into Frankfort on the Betsie Trail for some ice cream and shopping. Our favorite part was drinking coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise! We can't wait to come back and visit!

Great Family Reunion

Six adults and one dog from Phoenix, Kansas City and Philadelphia converged on the Candy House, and it was perfect! We all had more than enough space, and the location was ideal, between Frankfort and Onekama. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!

The description of the bedrooms/beds was inaccurate and kind of put us in a bind. It left 2 people to sleep on the couches.

I do apologize I will update the information on the listing. Bedrooms are as follows: 6 bedroom total- 2 have a king bed (1 of these also has single bed with a trundle); 2 have bunk beds; 1 has queen plus single; and 1 has a double bed with floor pull out ikea bed.

This house was a real gem

Nice big house was plenty for our extended family of nine. The location is great. Super close to Elberta and Frankfort beaches. Make the trip up to sleeping Bear dunes if you stay here it's well worth the drive. What really stood out to me about this house where all the small thoughtful touches. Beach chairs camp chairs the fire pit set up with chairs they really have thought of everything and you really don't need to bring anything besides maybe some extra toilet paper and paper towels if you go through a lot like we did. I definitely recommend this listing

Friends and family gathering.

This trip is a traditional gathering of family and friends that have been meeting in this area. For us it’s been over 30 years and counting. We needed larger accommodations this year and this rental fit the bill perfectly. Large house with well maintained grounds and being able to bring our dog was a big bonus. Nice location to enjoy Elberta, Beulah, and Frankfort as well as spend time with friends staying at a resort a little further south. The house has everything you need and more even though most of your time is spent outdoors enjoying all this beautiful area has to offer. We hope to be able to get this house again the same week next year.

Great for a weekend up north!

We recently stayed for a girls' weekend and really enjoyed the house! The updated kitchen was gorgeous and we loved the charm of this old fashioned home. There was plenty of space in the dining room and two main rooms for our large group. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and the backyard had a bunch of great outdoor furniture. It was just a short walk to the small Elberta strip and a short drive into Frankfort. Our only complaints were that the beds weren't very comfortable and that the fuses kept blowing the whole time (too many ladies trying to dry their hair at once), but the management was quick to respond to questions and it was a great deal for the price. We would definitely go back again and stay at the "Candy House".

This house is loaded in nostalgia. Beautiful glimpse of it history. Visitors of all ages enjoyed the stay and Elberta beach on lake Michigan just up the road.

We booked this for a family reunion and it was perfect for a wide mix of people - from my 4 year old nephew to my 73 year old mother! The house is absolutely charming. There is plenty of sleeping space and multiple rooms so no one needs to sleep on the couch. The only issue was that the online listing of bed space was not what was actually there, so we had to juggle people around a bit. But it all turned out well! Somehow we never got in each other’s way. The yard is a relaxing haven too, and the house has just about everything you could want. Toys, books, games, a stocked and updated kitchen. The location was excellent - walkable down to the water and very close to Elberta beach and Frankfort. The owners have obviously invested a ton of time and money into updates - and clearly there are more they are working on. We love old houses and the creaky wood floors just added to the charm - not to mention fun for the kids to play on! Everyone would love to come back.

Great location with lots of space for our girls trip!

Such a cute charming house, just like the photos! Very spacious for our group of 7 ladies, having 2 1/2 baths was perfect. The open floor plan was really nice for hanging out and talking and game night at the dining room table. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and meals, great showers/water pressure and it was sooo nice to have AC units! It has some of that old home charm with modern amenities. I loved the location a lot, Elberta is so small and cute with a few local spots to walk to, the Betsie bay trail right there for bike rides and right around the corner from beautiful Elberta beach and Furnace Street Distillery which I really recommend! (Amazing views and drinks) great home base for all the things you want to do in the Frankfort/Empire/Honor area!

The house has everything you need and is in a great location. On a quiet street and plenty of space. Kids loved riding the bike trail to Crystal Lake and the beaches the best.

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was so nice that it accommodated a couple of families and was close enough to all the “up north” activities we were hoping to do. The owners were quick to reply to us when we communicated with them. Great place!

I grew up coming to northern Michigan for summer vacations. After moving out of state, my husband, two children & I have returned to the area to vacation with extended family. I had forgotten how beautiful it is in northern Michigan!! After spending time in Cape Cod, Florida and California, these are still my favorite beaches...

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with the Frankfort area and I fell in love with this Victorian. We have put many hours of sweat equity into this house, but it has been a wonderful experience. We can't wait to spend some time up here and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
