Parfaite alternative aux coûteux chambre d'hôtel sans abandonner le luxe ou l'emplacement! Dans un bâtiment entièrement intérieur flambant neuf, mais avec une façade d'origine à l'extérieur sur la rue Huertas populaire, très proche de Prado, Thyssen et Reina Sofia et le Palacio Real, dans le centre historique de Madrid, le célèbre Barrio de las Letras. L'appartement dispose d'un lit king size, plus un canapé-lit supplémentaire dans le salon. Beaucoup de lumière et smack dab au milieu de tous les endroits de passe.

L'appartement est juste à côté de la Plaza de Santa Ana. Près de la Puerta del Sol et de la Plaza Mayor. Vous pouvez marcher à La Cava Baja, une rue pleine de restaurants et de petits bars. En outre, le Mercado de San Miguel. Grand lieu de rencontre et de bons tapas

Always a great stay

This was the third time we stayed at this property, we love it. It’s a nice apartment in a great location. It’s walkable to all the attractions in the area with good restaurants and cafes nearby. You do get a little bit of street noise from things closing down but it has never bothered us.Hopefully we will be back again next year!

We had a wonderful time in Madrid! The apartment was in a wonderful location. Many destinations are within walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was set up nicely. I would definitely return!

Perfect for our short stay

We traveled through Madrid on the way to a music festival in Malaga. Location was perfect for exploring on foot. Vibrant neighborhood close to museums and many restaurants. Very comfortable bed and living area/kitchen. Would stay here again!

Great location

Great centrally located apartment. Could use some fresh paint and updated furniture. The sofa was unbearably uncomfortable. Fortunately, there were extra pillows to help out. The owner was great and genuinely wanted to make sure our visit was memorable.

Location/Property Very Good. Taxis bad

This property is perfectly located mid way between Plaza Mayor and the Prado. An easy walk to both and near many nice restaurants. The property is fully equipped and in excellent condition except for a couple of touch up needed in the bathroom. The landlord communicated easily in English which we appreciated. The only problem was the taxis which the landlord should try to improve through her Vrbo/Air B&B owners association. On the way in the taxi driver took us on a circuitous route from the Antoch train station. He ripped us off 45 minutes and €20 For a ride that should have been 15 minutes and €8. On the way out of town Alicia called a taxi for us. When he arrived, for reasons unknown he thought we were going to the airport. When we informed him we were going to the train station, he refused to take us, refused to call us another cab and drove off, leaving us locked out of the apartment, standing a the curb.

Outstanding stay!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property (first time 5 years ago) and it was excellent, once again. The owner was easy to reach and responsive from booking to checkout. The place was clean and comfortable. The location can’t be beat. It was a bit cold in Madrid during our visit, but the apartment’s heating/AC kept us very comfortable. We highly recommend and will book again!

Perfect in every way!

This is our second stay at this beautiful and most lovely apartment! Loved it even more the second time! Great location with a perfect place to relax - gorgeous linens; fluffy towels, and just about everything else you need. Gorete is wonderful and shares so much information - truly remarkable!!

Perfect

We absolutely loved this apartment. The location couldn't be better, walkable to everywhere we wanted to go and on a lively street with lots of great bars and restaurants. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well decorated - the glass enclosed terrace was a lovely spot for coffee or a vermut. We were there during a very hot period and were extremely grateful for the powerful AC. We thought it might be a little noisy and brought ear plugs, but we didn't need them, the windows blocked street noise even on a Saturday night. Gorete was a particularly charming host who had lots of great suggestions for local restaurants etc. Will definitely return.

Clean, premium lodging in excellent location

Exceeded expectations for us two. Well thought-out lodging in an outstanding location: walking distance to Atocha train station, to the Royal Palace of Madrid, to the Prado Museum (and other top museums), to the Gran Via, etc. The manager, Gorete, provided much information in advance to help with our planning. We would not have known about the excellent Sorolla thru Light exhibition without her. The lodging was very clean with comfortable bedding and plush towels. We were able to dine on the small glass-enclosed balcony even during a thunderstorm. The room design and bed positioning meant that street noise was not a problem for our sleep. If we visit Madrid again, this apartment would be our top choice.

Madrid stay

Fantastic property in a location that makes visiting all of Madrid's tourist attractions easy. Easy walk to numerous bars,restaurants, shops etc. Extremely secure apartment with two locked doors to gain access to the building. Tha apartment has everything you need for your visit. Living area/kitchen (including washer/drier) is well laid out and very good. Bed was very comfortable. All towels and linen are provided as well as toiletries, tea towels, washing liquid,tea coffee etc. Host is very good. Everything was smooth from checking in to checking out. Lots of options to arrive from and depart to the airport. Highly recommended apartment. Many thanks.

Exceptional location and beautiful apartment!

The apartment is as nice in person as the pictures. Very clean and I appreciated being met at the door when I arrived. The location was in the center of everything- I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. I traveled by myself and felt very safe. I will stay here again when I return.

Beautiful Madrid apartment

This is a beautiful new apartment in the heart of old Madrid. It was very comfortable for my wife any I, with delicious restaurants in every direction. The nearby nightlife can be a bit loud, so earplugs were helpful for me, but my wife had no issues. Communication with Gorete was efficient, and the check-in process was in person and extremely thorough.

Perfection!

We loved our stay here. Yes, it is rather small but it is brilliantly designed. We had a comfortable king bed with nice linens, room to unpack in the closets (with built-ins), and the kitchen/living area was plenty big enough. The location was fabulous - walking distance to everything yet it felt like we were in a small, our of the way town. We did have quite a bit of noise at night on the streets and earplugs made all the difference. Gorete has thought of everything and it was nice to have things like, salt, pepper, coffee, olive oil and Tupperware in the kitchen. There were a few things that were not functioning well and if they take care of them, it really is a jewel of an apartment.

A fantastic location with modern updates

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gorete’s apartment. She provided so much helpful information and the location was amazing! The bed was extremely comfortable, the apartment was spotless and the small enclosed bistro table provided a fun look at the city’s happenings. I agree with another reviewer, if you are a light sleeper be prepared for the fact that Madrid seems to be a city that never sleeps. (It probably didn’t help that we were staying on a holiday weekend.) Even with this minor issue. if we are ever back in Madrid this would be our #1 choice!

The perfect stay!

This apartment was perfect. Not only is it in a very lively, lovely and convenient location, walkable to all the main sights and with great food & drink spots on the doorstep, it is equipped with all that you need and was spotlessly clean. Gorete was really clear and prompt with communications. We’d 100% stay here again.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Location, location, location! This is smack-dab in the middle of the historic Barrio de las Letras (Literature Neighborhood) very romantic, safe and with countless places to eat, people-watch, on a pedestrian street (no traffic).

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The building was completely gutted a few years ago and they saved the facade and the 100 year old staircase, but everything else is brand-new modern construction. We have furnished and equipped the apartment with everything we would like to find in a rental, we use VRBO ourselves when we travel so we understand that small details are paramount.
