La vie sur le lac ne vaut pas mieux que ça! Hartwood Village # 13 est une charmante maison de ville de 3 chambres située au cœur du lac Deep Creek. En entrant dans votre grande salle, vous tomberez sous le charme des grands plafonds voûtés, des planchers de bois franc lustrés et de l'impressionnante cheminée en pierre. Des puits de lumière ouverts et lumineux permettent au soleil de filtrer, mais ce sont les fenêtres du sol au plafond qui s'ouvrent sur une vue magnifique sur le lac qui captureront vraiment votre cœur. Que vous regardiez les skieurs dévaler la montagne sur les pistes de ski éclairées la nuit ou que vous profitiez simplement de notre feuillage d'automne, c'est une vue qui ne cessera d'étonner! Une cuisine bien équipée avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en granit a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer les repas préférés de votre famille. Votre niveau principal offre également une demi-salle de bain et une suite principale avec un lit queen.
En montant l'escalier en colimaçon, vous trouverez votre loft, l'endroit idéal pour un après-midi de jeux de société et de cartes. Les deux autres chambres, une avec un lit queen size et une avec un duobunk sont également à ce niveau avec une salle de bain complète. Les équipements supplémentaires à apprécier sont les grandes télévisions à écran plat, Internet haute vitesse et sans fil, la climatisation et les serviettes et les draps fournis.

Great Location, Not the best Condo.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this rental, however upon arriving we were informed that a "window" was in the midst of being replaced and there was plywood covering the construction. I didn't seem phased by it because I thought it was a small window/door. When we finally got there we realized it was the entire sliding glass door in the middle of the family room. What a huge letdown. Took away from the scenic views I originally booked the place for. On top of that there was construction material all over the outside deck and we couldn't enjoy the fluke of nice weather we had at our place. I understand these things can happen but I would have appreciated an offer to stay at a similar place nearby instead vs. the company's initial reimbursement offer of $75 on a $900+ vacation rental. The condo itself was beautiful and very accommodating for us and our 2 friends. The beds and family room futon were extremely uncomfortable and caused us back and neck pain every morning after sleeping on them. Overall the condo was nice for a short weekend but not recommended for a stay longer than 2 days.

Lovely little on the lake cabin

We love the location, the view, and nice stocked up little 3 bedrooms well appointed for a small group of younger group. The spiral stairs to the second floor might be a challenge for older folks but there is one bedroom downstairs.

Lovely lake-side view!

Had a great time staying at this cabin. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Only thing is that we did not expect to have to bring hand soap and trash bags ourselves.

Great Location

Right across street from bar/club with DJ (Black Bear Tavern), and another Restaurant with decent food. Within 5 minute drive from Wisp, Mountain State Brewery, and groceries. Awesome view of lake. Fit 8 guys without a problem.

Nice but inflexible...

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, although the downstairs half-bath toilette was not working. However, we had an uncomfortable experience when we were not allowed to take a service dog to the house. I know the house said no pets and that it was privately owned (so the owner gets a last say in it), but this is a service dog. Our friend had to make last minute arrengements to find another place to stay, since it is impossible to travel without the dog. We rented the house through Taylor Made, which is a commercial rental place, so I could have not known that the house was privately owned. Moreover, no one at Taylor Made was able to give us a solution. Also although it can fit 9 people, it only has 3 rooms so, a bit of a strech in comfort. It was nicely located for skiing, not so much for enjoying the lake in the summer since it is so close to so many boat rentals I imagine it being very busy for swimming (but honestly have not been in the summer to the property).

Have been coming to Hartwood Village (various units) for 7 years now. Disappointed in the run around I received when getting the third night free as advertised. TINY TV in the living room - Trying to watch some of the baseball playoffs on it was a joke!

Annual Columbus Day Weekend get a way 2016

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fair. Due to weather we spend more time than usual inside. 1. The futon in the living room needs to be discarded. 2. Very limited internet access. 3. Only part of the picture can be seen on the TV. 4. Neither of the mattresses on the bunk beds are appropriate for adults (we had 3 adult couples)5. There as an old blanket and some garbage under the love seat in the living room. Also saw a cockroach.

Gorgeous & Family-Friendly

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Myself, along with my parents and toddler, loved staying here for a weekend getaway. The whole house is childproof except for the spiral staircase and the side exit from the deck - bring one baby gate with you and you'll be set. The online pictures don't show the bathrooms, but this place has 2.5 bathrooms including a very nice first floor shower. No tubs, so be ready to bathe babies in the kitchen sink. Taylor-Made is super organized and generous with linens. It was weird that the house only came with one soap pod for the dishwasher and no soap or shampoo for the bathrooms. Bring your own! Boat rental and the grocery store are both less than 5 minutes from the house.

Perfect for small family/group

The upper level worked GREAT for the kids it was their private area with TV, game and giggle area. The unit felt well appointed and upgraded. Our only complaint was the master bed(actual bed)mattress uncomfortable,and pillows fall through the headboard. LOVED THIS PLACE right on the water small playground in yard fair entry to shallow area of lake for play.
