We loved the location and how close we were to all the activities we wanted to do in San Antonio, especially the RiverWalk.
The kids had so much fun in the pool and it was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood and not in a hotel.
Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay! We would absolutely stay here again.
We (3 sisters) enjoyed our stay in the Carriage House very much. While it is an older property, it is well-kept and we found it very clean. The beds are comfortable--even the twin platform bed. Our hosts, Don and Liesel were welcoming; early check-in was allowed so that was nice. The location is great; just a short walk to the Riverwalk and restaurants. We enjoyed a tour of "Villa Finale" on King William Street. We look forward to returning.
This location and place was just quaint and perfect for our get-a-way. The beds were very comfortable and accomodations lovely as shown. We could walk safely anywhere and bike rentals were just blocks away. The owner lives on adjacent property so was able to help with any questions we had very promptly. The neighborhood is historic and enchanting and the River Walk is AMAZING and not even a block away is an entrance that allows you to access the city with out any street/car traffic. San Antonio is a treasure. This home rental was a gem . We will be back!
Very charming carriage house with some vintage vibes. Furniture is older, but comfortable. Great location in Historical district of San Antonio and very easy access to the river walk.
Great location, easy access/walking distance to downtown and King William neighborhood. Quaint property, quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Great restaurants in neighborhood.
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, exclusive, quiet stay; you will love this charming carriage house. The neighborhood is rich in history and beautiful to simply walk the streets and walk to many nearby attractions and restaurants. The pool and hot tub where a lovely feature that topped of the joy of this property so be sure to bring your swim suits. Don was very accommodating and great with any questions we had.
My wife and I traveled to San Antonio with friends. The two bedrooms, each with their own baths, were perfect for us. All rooms were plenty spacious, clean, and very well kept. The backyard was nice and private for using the pool and hot tub. Since we did not rent a car, the location was perfect with its closeness to so many things in the city. It was within steps of the River Walk and just a few blocks from the Hop-On Hop-Off bus line. I would certainly recommend The Pancoast Carriage Inn for two couples, or a family, visiting San Antonio.
The carriage house was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and claw footed bath tubs. Great location for evening walks and close to several restaurants. We will definitely be booking here again!
Clean beautiful home one block from the river walk. Perfect for two couples. Two bedrooms each with two private baths. Pool was lovely and setting tranquil and picturesque . River walk was amazing. Loved the apartment. Beautiful views and beautiful neighborhood. It was on the second floor with steps so not suitable for older people who have difficulty with steps. The bedrooms are above the garage which was not a bit of a bother for us. Will highly recommend !!!
We rented the 2 bedroom Carriage House, which was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to the Riverwalk, biking distance to all the Missions, and a quick walk to some excellent restaurants. The property was quaint, had all the amenities you'd want in a small B&B and the pool was just the right temp to cool off on a hot afternoon. The owners were very helpful. Highly recommend!
We were in town for a BMT graduation, it was perfect for our family. We could sit around, visit and relax when we wanted to. The house was close to the Riverwalk, and many restaurants within walking distance. A nice quiet neighborhood with a HEB grocery store nearby when we decided to eat in.
The house was clean and nice. Proximity to the riverwalk was amazing. The pool and yard were perfect. People were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
The only nitpick is the extra beds. There are two nice, comfortable beds in the place. The additional beds (which cost extra) are small trundles which are horribly uncomfortable.
We were meeting our adult daughter at the Texas Music Education Association Convention, and booked the carriage house because it can accommodate up to 6 people. She and a friend were staying with us. Please be aware that only 2 beds are made up for the cost of the rooms, so the 3rd bed was an additional charge. Another teacher stayed with us for a night, and linens were reluctantly provided at an additional cost, but not the additional towel that I requested. Apparently, they were concerned that the sheets would be ripped if the pull out couch was used in the living room. We were very careful. The mattresses on the beds were soft, but O.K. The other mattresses a bit lumpy and old. Linens were fresh and clean!
The Carraige House is located at the owner's property and across the street from the Oge House. Overnight parking is available next to the Oge House. Riverwalk Loop is about a 15 minute walk from the sight and the Riverwalk access is located a couple minutes away. Some eating establishments are within walking distance around the nice historical neighborhood. There is a nice pool area, which we were unable to take advantage of because of the weather. The living area has a combined sitting area, kitchen and dining table. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchen sink and gas stove, with ample glasses, silverware and the usual kitchen items. The sleeping area consists of two independent rooms, each with a large bed, fireplace (logs), cable TV and dressers. Each room has a bathroom (claw tub, with shower, pedestal sink, toilet and hair dryer with towels). Overall, we found the space to be very nice and would recommend it., Some minor items that we would like to point out would be, it would have been nice to have a TV located in the common area, in addition to or in place of the bedrooms. Our fireplace logs did not work work in one of the rooms (but not a big deal for us). When the garage door was opened below us, it was a short but noticeable noise to an otherwise quiet area. Again, we would recommend this location for access to downtown, without being located directly downtown. Easy access to highways and to other nearby points of interest. Our six night stay cost about $1,700.00 with taxes (two rooms) for three adults. Thanks for the stay.
