Paradis au milieu des Pouilles

Nous avons passé un séjour en famille (2 adultes + 2 enfants) au top à la Villa Edda, malgré une météo capricieuse. Difficile de se motiver pour visiter la région tellement on veut profiter du lieu. Piscine, court de tennis, basket et foot, sauna, salle de sport. Tout ça sans aucun vis à vis. On s'y sent vraiment bien. Les enfants comme les parents se sont régalés. Rien ne manque (vaisselle et équipement ++). Literies très bien. Massimo est très accueillant et disponible. Un assortiment de vin et biscuits salés italiens, ainsi qu'une énorme corbeille de fruits et légumes nous attendaient à notre arrivée ! Il nous a même rendu une visite en cours de séjour pour nous apporter snacks salés et viennoiserie. La villa est bien située au centre de plusieurs points d'intérêt (Lecce, Gallipoli, les côtes qui sont de toute beauté). Une adresse à retenir et à partager. Une des meilleures locations qu'on ai eues. Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir en été.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine très bien accueilli par Massimo qui nous a gâtés tout au long du séjour . Un seul bémol: le passage des avions de chasses le matin dès 8h30...

Die Villa ist super, vor allem der grosse Aussenenbereich bietet alles was man sich wünschen kann. Massimo ist ein super Gastgeber und immer für einen da, sei es Strand Empfehlungen, Restaurant Tips oder sogar Arztbesuche.

Great home from home

The villa was lovely, very well equipped including tennis court, table tennis, archery and lots more. The villa delivers everything that it claims on the website and exceeds it. Massimo was very welcoming and attentive (even bringing us breakfast one morning) throughout our stay, I really loved staying here and have no reservations about recommending it.

So much for kids to do!

Property owners instantly replied to any emails and requests. Check in was smooth with no waiting. What separated this villa from others we have stayed in on previous holidays were the villa facilities. A huge pool. A table tennis table in perfect condition. Table football. Darts. Archery. Trampoline. Kids badminton kit. Tennis court in pretty good condition. Bikes of various sizes and the villa large enough for our kids to cycle around the property. The kids absolutely loved it and busy kids = happy holidays!

Fantastic facilities and a great owner who is interested in ensuring you have a great stay

The facilities are great. We used the pool, tennis, darts, and gym extensively. Massimo, the owner is really helpful and will do everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. The fact he does this for every client reflects his genuine aim to please you. The villa sits within an enclave of similarly nice villas but is detached from the main town with some industry in the vicinity. There are many and varied activities on offer, and we could have happily spent longer than one week there.

Best price-quality in Salento! An outdoor paradise

Villa Edda is central in Salento, an easy drive to historic cities, beautiful beaches etcetera. But the villa and its garden are só gorgeous, that it's more attractive to stay there instead of going out ;-) The villa was very clean, good matrasses. The garden is extraordinary spacious and green, very well-kept. A beautiful new pool, a tennis court, lots of seats in the garden or at the veranda. A new sauna cottage in the garden. Lots of outdoor toys, bikes, a BBQ, an outdoor kitchen. It's a Paradise! The owner is a kind Italian man, who made our stay as perfect as possible. Easy communication by Whatsapp or telephone. We will definitely return to the villa to have a relaxing family holiday (7yo to 70yo, we all enjoyed so much) in a beautiful region. Galatina historic center is nearby (5min drive, 15min bike), not discovered by many tourists yet. Lecce is lovely too. The beaches and sea are beautiful. Lecce and beaches can be reached in half an hour. I have been in many holiday homes through Italy but this place and this owner are excellent!!

Villa fantastica ...

Per chi vuole farsi inebriare dal verde e rilassarsi nella pace più assoluta, Villa Edda è il posto ideale. La posizione nel cuore del Salento, una grande e pulitissima piscina a sfioro con acqua salata ( senza odore di cloro ), i gonfiabili, il campo da tennis, l'ampia e attrezzatissima pergola ricca di gelsomini, l' area relax ben appartata, un curatissimo giardino ed un bel parcheggio per le macchine fanno di Villa Edda un luogo speciale dove soggiornare. Le camere sono ben arredate e con aria condizionata, tutte le finestre sono dotate di zanzariere, i letti sono molto comodi ed i bagni molto puliti. Il padrone di casa Massimo è estremamente gentile e disponibile, pronto a consigliare su ristoranti, luoghi da visitare, scorciatoie per raggiungere i diversi posti. Divino il buffet di benvenuto e squisiti i prodotti locali dolci e salati che cia ha offerto durante il soggiorno. Per chi ama la natura ed ha piacere a conoscere belle persone, Villa Edda è assolutamente da non perdere! Un saluto ai tuoi figli Giulia e Giuseppe! A presto Famiglia Utkina

A slice of heaven, deep in southern Italy.

The gates swung open via remote control, and Villa Edda appeared before us, even better than in our dreams. We fell in love with this idyllic place on line from Australia, but the reality was even better. We travelled to Puglia to celebrate an important birthday, and over two weeks 15 friends and family spent time with us at Villa Edda. It was the perfect place... comfortable, luxurious, exceptionally clean and spacious. The grounds behind the wall are astonishing, dozens of mature trees providing shady spots to relax with a drink after tennis on the hard court or a swim in the dazzling pool. Everything is provided in this amazing resort...inside and outside kitchens, a terrific barbecue, tennis racquets, archery, books and hammocks...and bicycles to ride into Galatina to do the shopping or have a cappuccino and cake. We hired a car to take us out to the coast but chose to stay home on many days to simply enjoy the amazing facilities. Massimo is an outstanding host...warm and helpful, kind and generous (he had the kitchen stocked with fruit, vegetables, wine and even homemade pasta sauce on our arrival). Wow...what a start to what became a truly unforgettable holiday. We cannot recommend Villa Edda highly enough... truly a home away from home. Una vacanza da sogno🤩

Il nostro soggiorno a Villa Edda è stato un sogno lungo una settimana. Ci è piaciuto tutto tutto tutto. Prima cosa la Villa si trova in una zona tranquilla, priva di rumori molesti ma allo stesso tempo in 2 minuti sei a Galatina e comunque vicinissimo a Gallipoli e Lecce. Quando si entra dal cancello elettrico si viene accolti non da un giardino ma da un parco curatissimo... il viale, le palme, l’illuminazione notturna... 🔝. L’ampia veranda difronte alla piscina era perfetta per le colazioni, mentre l’ampio tavolo del portico, con le sue numerose sedute comodissime ha allietato i nostri pranzi e le nostre cene... intorno la visione del parco, della piscina (fantastica) e del campo da tennis. La piscina merita una menzione particolare: l’acqua è salata, non odora di cloro... il che fa la differenza, in più ha un’idromassaggio molto piacevole e un’area ingresso ampia, con acqua bassa utilissima. A bordo piscina ci sono dei comodissimi lettini in legno con materassini, un’utile doccia e un utilissimo bagno esterno carino e ben curato. Abbiamo trovato nella Villa tanti gonfiabili per la piscina... mia figlia di 7 anni quando li ha visti è rimasta a bocca aperta e senza parole... non capita quasi mai. Il campo da tennis è stato il set di bei match e tantissime risate... indubbiamente un lusso averlo nella proprietà. Come se non bastasse, nel parco, da un delizioso vialetto si arriva ad una piccola costruzione in legno... una spa privata... con sauna e doccia da 10 e lode... la cromoterapia, la musica, il diffusore di essenze e due sedute fantastiche ci hanno regalato dei magic moments. Ovviamente non poteva mancare un barbecue spazioso che ti invogliava ad usarlo. All’interno della Villa ho apprezzato l’arredamento sobrio e leggero che aiuta a rilassarsi, la cucina grande, spaziosa e funzionalissima... lavastoviglie, lavatrice, frigo xl e tanti altri piccoli elettrodomestici per cucinare... Apprezzatissima l’area condizionata in ogni stanza, così come i 5 televisori, il Wi-Fi, la PlayStation con tanto di giochi, le zanzariere funzionanti ovunque... Per ultimo, ma non per importanza, parlerò di quanto ci siamo sentiti importanti e coccolati dal Signor Massimo, un maestro nell’accoglienza e nella discrezione. A partire dai prodotti freschi che ci ha fatto trovare in Villa al nostro arrivo, ai gentili pensieri durante il soggiorno. Al Signor Massimo chiederei solo un favore... di mantenere tutto così, che è perfetto!!! Torneremo, è una promessa😊

A fantastic villa for our (2 families) vacation

We spent 10 days at Villa Edda with 4 adults and 2 sets of kids - 10 and 16 years old, and we had a wonderful time. Massimo was the best host, giving us not only very precious tips on beaches to go to depending on the winds and nearby festivals, but spoiling us with local treats and fresh produces. The villa has all the comforts of a luxury resort - perfectly maintained garden, beautiful pool with all kinds of amenities, tennis court with raquets and balls, bow and arrow, a well-equipped kitchen and a great bbq. The house was comfortable for the 8 of us, and was extremely clean when we arrived. The beds are very, very comfortable. There is air conditioning in every room for the hot days, and even a perfecty built brand-new sauna complex for the colder season (but can be used any time) . The villa is located in a secluded compound at a few kilometers from a very lively town, and at easy driving distance to the best beaches of the Salento region and other lovely towns with lots of history and beautiful churches and monuments to visit. Thank you Massimo & family! We’ll be back soon!

Fantastica vacanza!

Questo è un posto che consiglio vivamente. Per la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Massimo prima, per la casa, grande e molto bella per non parlare dell'enorme piscina e campo da tennis e poi per il posto, tranquillo senza essere isolato. Qui siamo nel cuore del Salento barocco, Lecce, Galatina, Nardò, Gallipoli sono molto vicini, Ostuni e Alberobello sono a quaranta minuti, il parco naturale di Porto Selvaggio e la bella spiaggia selvaggia della palude del Capitano a trenta minuti. Fantastica vacanza!

Questo è un posto che consiglio vivamente. Per la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Massimo in primis, per la casa, grande e molto bella per non parlare dell'enorme piscina e campo da tennis e poi per il posto, tranquillo senza essere isolato. Qui siamo nel cuore del Salento barocco, Lecce, Galatina, Nardò, Gallipoli sono molto vicini, Ostuni e Alberobello sono a quaranta minuti, il parco naturale di Porto Selvaggio e la bella spiaggia selvaggia della palude del Capitano a trenta minuti. I borghi di Corigliano d' Otranto, Soleto, Sogliano, Martano sono raggiungibili in dieci minuti. In breve, il posto ideale per le vacanze in Puglia. Ciao Massimo ti saluta Silvia.

LOVELY HOUSE!!!

As you know, we absolutely loved staying in your wonderful house and you were the perfect host. Your generosity and the local produce you gave us were very much appreciated. We had several additonal trips to Leonardo's, including one last stop before we left. Your advice on where to visit was invaluable and the light festival in scorrano was magical. Che accoglienza! E' stato bellissimo e rilassante!

Che posto speciale dove stare! La casa è bellissima e ha accolto due famiglie. Ci siamo divertiti moltissimo facendo escursioni e tanto sport tra piscina e tennis! Ottimi i ristoranti nelle vicinanze e forniti i supermercati. Le vicine cittadine sono affascinanti; facili da raggiungere anche molti altri posti meravigliosi come Lecce, Otranto e Gallipoli. Il proprietario accompagnato dai suoi piccoli figli è la persona più adorabile e accogliente che si possa incontrare. Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza perfetta grazie a lui e alla sua meravigliosa villa.

Geweldig!!!

Wat hebben we een heerlijke week gehad in deze accomodatie met ons gezin! Heerlijk zwembad, prachtige tennisbaan en allerlei andere sportatributen en spelletjes. Alles is prachtig onderhouden en schoon. De eigenaar Massimo doet er alles aan om er voor te zorgen dat je het naar je zin hebt. We zijn verwend met allerlei lekkernijen en hij geeft tips over de omgeving. De omgeving is erg leuk. Nog niet ontdekt door het massatoerisme. Prachtige dorpjes zoals Lecce, Otranto en Gallipoli. Wel een auto nodig. Zeker een plek om nog eens terug te gaan!

Absolutely wonderful villa, the perfect relaxing holiday

We have recently returned from a wonderful week in this amazing villa. We were expecting it to be lovely but the photos and description don't emphasise what a gem of a place this is. The gardens are spacious with lots of places to sit, including a number of hammocks. The pool is lovely, and was a perfect temperature (at the end of May). The villa has everything you need - sports equipment, loads of inflatables for the pool, barbecue with fuel and a fire pit, and inside also has air conditioning and all the equipment you might need. Massimo was on hand to help and was always available when we needed him for any queries. We also arrived to the most amazing welcome pack of food we have ever received - bowls of fruit and fresh vegetables, wine, beer, water, bread and pasta to make our first meal (very welcome when we arrived on a Sunday after a 4 hour flight delay). He also popped by with some delicious figs during the stay. The villa ticked the boxes for everyone in our family - me and my husband and our 3 kids. Definitely the best villa we have stayed in and we are already trying to work out when we can return. Thank you Massimo for letting us stay in your lovely place.and for your warm welcome.

MERAVIGLIOSO RELAX

Volevo solo dire un grande grazie a Massimo per tutto il suo aiuto nell'organizzare quella che è stata una settimana favolosa a Villa Edda. La villa, il giardino, la posizione, la piscina, il campo da tennis, il calcio balilla, le amache per riposare... era tutto bello e così, così tranquillo. Il nostro unico rimpianto è che non abbiamo prenotato per due settimane. Arrivederci a presto!

The ideal holiday home near Lecce

Swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball, archery, soccer goals, spa, badminton, darts, a nice veranda and and beautiful house, garden and owner. Close to the little town of Galatina with its ancient city centre and restaurants. Lecce and both coasts are only half an out by car. An ideal house for a relaxing and active holiday in Puglia. Perfect Gataway

Entering the villa you realize that the photos do not do justice - you just have to be there. We have been in many luxury villas all over Europe, but this has won them all. All aspects were almost perfect: the design of the villa, the quality of the villa, its location and its equipment. The location meant we were away from the noise of a resort and other villas but within driving distance of supermarkets, tavernas and beaches. Inside the villa it felt like being home from home. Rich welcome buffet. When you thought - "I wonder if they have this in the draw?" - sure enough there was. For when things do not go to plan the owner Massimo shows up during our stay. I have not lost Wi-Fi - please consider this a bonus. The pool was the highlight. I spent many days sitting by the pool reading a book. Other great things about the villa - excellent barbecue; SKY TV; safe-deposit box; heated infinity pool with hydromassage area; the tennis court; the cottage with sauna and shower; cleaning of the villa. We will return.

Abbiamo amato la nostra vacanza in Villa Edda!

Spinti dalle recensioni lette e dall' opportunità di trovare tra i servizi il campo da tennis abbiamo provato finalmente la genuina ospitalità di questa terra. La dimora era fantastica e ci si è presentata con delle novità graditissime( prenotata un anno prima). Ci è stato concesso, infatti, l' utilizzo della nuova area relax appena ultimata e la piscina riscaldata. All' arrivo tra odori e colori dei prodotti di benvenuto salati e dolci, vino, birra, succhi di frutta, acqua, frutta fresca...Massimo ci ha descritto la casa e suggerito i principali servizi della vicina città di Galatina. Le camere erano luminose ed i letti comodi. Eravamo in sei e siamo stati veramente bene. I bagni entrambi con doccia ordinati e puliti. Comodissimo l' altro bagno all' esterno vicino la piscina. Durante il soggiorno con discrezione il Sig. Massimo ci ha coccolato con alcuni piatti tipici appena cucinati e con i sapori della dolce pasticceria locale. Una vacanza al top all' insegna dello sport e del relax. Grazie Massimo!

Villa e proprietari al bacio!

Hello, my name is Max and I am 52 years old.
Born and living in Galatina collaborate, together with my relatives in the management of the family business that deals with 25 years of treatment and coating of metals. I'm a sports guy, I love football, swimming and being in touch with nature.
This passion has strongly influenced the choice of family homes to the sea and in the countryside.
He began my father who found this house built in local stone in the middle of a beautiful red earth burned by the sun and it was love at first sight.
From that moment began the great adventure, that even today, we are involved with the rest of the family, in trying to bring back to the heyday, this beautiful farmhouse. I am a sociable and friendly person. I really like the music, good food (I can cook quite well), I love the spices and fine wine.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Villa Edda is a wonderful villa, immersed in the green of the Salento countryside where my children spent the beginning of each summer season. Even on the hottest days, the bedrooms are always fresh thanks to the construction features of the house, the stone from Lecce, and the vaulted ceilings. Pleasant and joyful are the moments for children and adults. A piece of heaven where you can spend a serene holiday without giving up joy and fun, by participating in the countless events organised around the communes of the Greek Salento.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This dwelling features all the modern commodities and services to live it in every season ( cooling with air conditioning and heating with radiators ).
To start the day in a positive way, guests will have at their disposal the necessary for a genuine breakfast: coffee, milk, cappuccino, latte, chocolate, tea and juices; bread, jams, honey and assorted tarts directly from the oven; fresh fruit of the season; cereals with or without dehydrated fruit, natural or crunchy muesli, nutella; low-fat, white yogurt, fruit. There are many spaces (a large living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 sofa beds and three bathrooms, one of which is located near the swimming pool ) for being used by many people. It is ideal for families with children or friends wanting to spend time together, maybe by cooking on the barbecue in the garden. Still, the house’s kitchen has everything needed and a good household equipment such as an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer. Chatting and dining under the large and cosy veranda, or sit around the pool while listening to some music or reading a book. You will fully live each moment ,maybe by walking along the country lanes under a starry night.
