Excellent stay from start to finish.We visited as a group of 6 adults and 4 children for a tennis-themed holiday, and the villa was perfect for our needs. It was beautiful, very spacious, and well equipped with everything we required. Communication from the host before arrival was excellent, and they were very accommodating with changes and requests.A real highlight was the accessibility—fully accessible throughout (not just one bedroom/bathroom), which is rare and made a big difference for the wheelchair user in our group. The villa was spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels including for the pool.The heated pool was great for out-of-season swimming, and the BBQ made easy group meals. The gardens were lovely, with multiple seating areas to follow the sun. The high-tech music, lighting, and heating system took a little getting used to, but the on-site property manager was very responsive and helpful.Located within La Manga Club, the setting is beautiful, though quite hilly—so a car is essential (about 5 minutes to the rackets centre, amenities, and restaurants). Outside of golf and tennis there’s limited activity nearby, so the pool was a great addition.Overall, a fantastic villa for our group—we would definitely return.

Golf trip

Property was great, very spacious, clean and accurate to the description given. Also very private with easy access to the golf course. We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly return in the future.

Family girls trip

Group of 12 ladies from the same family celebrating various birthdays. We needed an accessible villa and Villa Buena Vida was an excellent choice. Super well equipped both inside and by the pool for our wheelchair user to have a very comfortable stay. Rosie was so accommodating and helped with everything we needed. The villa is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice! Thank you Rosie for a lovely holiday home.

Short family stay

Villa met all our expectations. Lots of areas for the children to play. Felt very safe and was a quiet area. Will definitely be back.

Our Villa Stay

Property is beautiful. Location not great for a wheelchair users. Lovely holiday but a huge disappointment when the car broke and the problem was never rectified and the car not returned.

Thank you to Jonathan. The vehicle provided with the Villa has unfortunately had a couple of breakdowns, meaning it will need to be replaced. A replacement vehicle will be purchased in December. Guests in the meantime should hire their own vehicle or use taxis. We can recommend Wheelchair Accessible taxis, as transport is needed in order for wheelchair users to make the most of the local area. We apologise for the inconvenience of this and recognise the importance of transport being available. A replacement vehicle Will be provided as soon as possible for future guests. Excellent for disabled visitors with big families

As a wheelchair user this property was an excellent fit for my needs. The owner Rosie was so helpful in trying to accommodate all of my needs in advance in terms of equipment hire and trying to source a hire car with hand controls. Sadly this was not possible to find in the region so i had to suffice with a hire car and someone else to drive me around. No fault of the owner of course but worth keeping in mind. Due to the location car hire is essential if you need to get around. The villa was massive. So much space to move around especially in the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom and bathroom. The pool was great and the hoist was easy to use. The villa's TV, entertainment and lighting systems can be run from an app on your phone which was innovative. Sadly the pool lights and external lights were not working at the time so this did not help with the ambience in the evenings. Some of the glass panels around the pool area were cracked which also took away from the aesthetics of the villa. Considering the cost to stay these could maybe have been fixed in advance. However these aesthetic issues did not detract from our overall experience which left a big impression on the whole family. Would recommend to anyone interested in a nice holiday in beautiful surroundings. Listening to the birds and crickets while enjoying the nature around us made for a really relaxing break.

Highly recommended you will not be disappointed!

We stayed in this villa in 2018 and this year we booked again because the experience last year was so good.  We were not disappointed!  The property is furnished to a very high standard and immaculately clean. The A/C controls are per room and allow custom settings that provided a very comfortable environment in each room. The facilities for my wheelchair users are excellent and all worked perfectly: wide doors, level access throughout villa and access to front and rear gardens, ceiling hosting in master room and wet room, profiling bed, swimming pool hoist, WAV car, and plenty of cupboard and drawer storage medical equipment.  The villa is in a very safe area and patrolled regularly by the La Manga Club security. It also has great media services (e.g., wif-fi, IPTV, music and video streaming services). The large pool was regularly cleaned and was exposed to sun from dawn to dusk. There is an outdoor utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer which we used constantly. It would be useful to have this connected directly to main building so that you don't have to go outside at night. The kitchen is well designed with a central work area including inductions hobs and lots of storage cupboards filled with all the utensils, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen tools you would ever need. The central family area is spacious and very comfortable.  The beds and pillows were medium-firm which was fine for us. There is an 2 bedroom annex with its own open plan kitchen/lounge area and a balcony which would be great for a care team but we did not use it. Overall a great holiday villa that we would highly recommend.

11 night stay August 2022

We had a good time at this property. The booking process was made very easy with the owner. She answered all of my many questions! The set up for my disabled son was brilliant. There were a couple of small issues we had during our stay, but the property manager was on hand and sorted very quickly. I would bring my family again. Thank you so much!

Lovely adapted villa

The villa is very modern and clean and is spacious for wheelchair users and their family. Rosie was very helpful with any questions i had leading up to stay. The wetroom, ceiling track hoists and electric bed are a good feature when staying with disabled family member. The annexe was great for carers , so they could have privacy away from family or time off. The area of the villa wasnt really suitable for our teenager who is in manual wheelchair as the paths are not accessible and there are steep hills, so we were unable to take him for walks out which we normal do when on holiday. We were unable to have the complimentary WAV as advertised due to licencing issues which was a great disappointment as we were unable to take our son out for beach trips as a family , we could not afford to hire a WAV on top of villa price and adapted taxi was not readily available to hire due to airport runs. Unfortunately the pool was also unable to be accessed by my son as pool heat was not being maintain due to pool cover being destroyed in storm previous week , we received refund for pool heat . The hot tub was not accessible by mobile hoist as legs could not go underneath it , so property manger moved hot tub nearer pool hoist which was much appreciated but we lost a day where son could go in it due to it having to heat up again . Overall the villa had good disabled facilities but the things which we didnt have stopped us having the full enjoyment of the very long planned holiday we hoped for after covid.

Thank you for your review, Josie. I apologise for the issues encountered during your stay. Unfortunately my WAV was UK registered, and could not be imported because of Brexit and the fact that it has been modified for a wheelchair. A Spanish WAV became available last week and has been purchased. It is now available to all guests. Regarding the swimming pool cover; it was very frustrating that the pool cover was damaged in the week leading up to our guests staying at the villa. A new one was ordered straightaway and is now back in use. Thank you to Josie for your patience and for taking the time to send your comments. Kind regards, Rosie

Mit der ganzen Gruppe gut untergebracht.

Tolles Objekt. Groß, modern tolle Lage und beheizter Pool. Leider war die Wohnung bei Ankunft nicht vorbereitet (nicht gereinigt und keine ausreichende Bettwäsche). Nach Reklamation wurde dann alles schnell zu unserer Zufriedenheit erledigt. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche.

When a member of your family requires adapted accommodation, the thought of holidaying somewhere new is frought with anxiety. We needn’t have worried! Rosie has done an amazing job with her property which is stylish, spotless, luxurious and accessible. Not words that are usually in the same sentence! Can’t recommend the villa highly enough, just fantastic!
