Wonderful family fishing trip

We came on Memorial Day holiday with another family for a fishing trip, falling in love with the beautiful beach view with walking distance to the pier. We were all impressed with the three-bed/two-bed setup for the two bedroom, very convenient for two families. We had an amazing getaway!

Cleanliness at this last unit could use a good improvement.The location is great with great sunrise and sunset views, gated space and great pool.

Several things as in tv and coffee pots not working but maintenance did bring new coffee pot. Parking goid. Condo nice.

Thank you for your review and insight on your stay. Unfortunately we are not able to send any codes for check-in prior to the property being released to us. Some people try to get in earlier and check into a dirty unit, so we need to make sure everything is ready before we send that information out. Our guaranteed time is 4PM but we do try to get folks in as soon as we are able to and send all that information out via text once it is released to us by housekeeping.

October Trip to Port A

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall Fine, but in the helpful hint area, need to consider several items:Took a bit to figure out the light switches and fan controls. Lamps did not work in the bedrooms. Bed was in the pathway to the bathroom and caught my toes a couple of times on the leg. TV s in bedrooms were un-plugged and one did not reach a plug. We have stayed here for years, and we will be back, this was the first time we ran into any issues. This is a great place, just giving a heads up on this room.

Would Stay again.

We had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was nice. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Paper towels and garbage bags were provided. However we had a week stay and they only provided 2 dishwasher tabs. For the price I think they could afford to provide a tab for each night you're staying. Be aware there are NO food items like salt/pepper/etc. The pool was heated and a nice temperature for swimming. The private pier was so much fun. Fishing from it was only ok. The only issue in our room was the bathtub's plug wasn't working correctly so my two little girls had to shower instead of bath but that's not a huge issue. Only issue that I feel needs to be addressed is that they want you to wear these orange wristbands when you're at the pool or pier. They gave us 8 bands and there were eight of us but we were staying for a whole week so we never wore them just carried them with us. If I was only staying a night or two I would have put them on but I'm not wearing that crap for a week! I also would suggest bringing an extra blanket or two. The blankets on the beds were pretty thin. I could have turned the heat up but didn't want to mess with the thermostat. I was fine but a couple of my kids got cold. Make sure to bring your own beach towels! I was so glad we did because there are no pool towels and it's specified not to take the rooms towels to the pool. Not an issue just be sure to bring your own. Overall we loved our stay and plan on coming again!

Port A - a rainy weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather put a hamper on our fishing experience however the annual family getaway is always a welcomed time together. While we had to move to a smaller unit in another building, Harry was very accommodating and checked in often to ensure our experience was pleasant. Overall unit was clean - would not stay there again though. Living space small and furniture uncomfortable as we had to stay indoors with the weather. Rug was buckling on one end, both sides, and was somewhat dangerous with several seniors on the trip.

Overall Good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Unit 206 (4 nights) was good. The overall condition and cleanliness was OK. We reported a dirty toilet and dead roaches on the floor when we first arrived and they were promptly addressed. Several other issues we didn’t report: 1) TV remote in living area had dead batteries- we bought batteries and replaced. 2) TV in master bedroom never worked. 3) drain plug cover in master shower kept coming loose. 4) lights over vanity in master bath kept flickering on and off. 5) Dishwasher didn’t seem to dissolve detergent pods - dishes always came out slightly dirty. 6) only one of 2 outdoor grills was usable and even it was a real challenge. Both grills should be replaced promptly. But the location was great, fishing was good and the pier was clean. We would stay again but maybe in another unit.
