Maravilla Condo - Anniversary Stay

The inside was great and clean, the exterior is under renovation, which is understandable, so it is not so clean, but maintenance has to be done and the winter is the best time. It caused us no issue though. Hot tub was great and the location was great and we had a great time, except for the cold weather!!!! LOLOLOL

Great condo unit.

Very thoughtful of guests accommodations. Even had a new bottle of aloe gel for sunburns & the 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs & small cooler were extras that were useful. Family enjoyed tennis & pickleball also. Pool was a short walk. Loved the new appliances & furnishings

Excellent get away

We could not have picked a better place for our very first beach vacation!! The condo was PERFECT in ever way. Any and everything you need is just minutes away and the private beach was a dream!

Weekend Getaway

The property was very nice, clean and pet friendly! Plenty of amenities, two inground pools, outdoor grills, pickle ball, cornhole, basketball, and walking distance to the beach.

Perfect Vacation Location

Beautifully updated condo. Has everything you need and more. Unit is steps from the pool, hot tub, and tennis courts and less thab a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous private beach. Perfect place for a vacation. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks Karen.

Best vacation!!

Overall this was the best vacation we have had in years! The condo was clean and everything was in working order as described. Perfect location with short walk to beach and close to pool,tennis court and pet area. Neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Check in and out was easy and smooth. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Condo not as described.

The King headboard is a piece of Rattan wood board affixed to the wall, not a headboard to the bed as in the online description. The ceiling fan wobbles to the point of appearing could fall on the medium and high settings, therefore unable to run at night because it kept us from sleeping. The manager stated a work order would be placed, but not be fixed on our stay. AC not working in main bedroom despite manager stating it appeared to be working. AC thermometer fixed at 68 degrees so tenant cannot adjust lower, this was not in description of unit, this was brought to the attention of the onsite manager, with no verbal response. Brown discoloration ceiling over shower consistent with mold and cracked ceiling in the shower. Shower bar pulling away from the wall with exposed screws. King mattress had a torn mattress pad on it, then a blue foam eggshell crate mattress then another mattress pad covering that, description states new bedding, this was unacceptable. Foam mattresses can be very hot to sleep on. Bed sinks in middle, squeaky when rolling on it. Regular size pillows instead of king on the king mattress. Description is new pots and pans, what I cooked with was old, warped, and scratched terribly. TV streaming in and out, manager came, and stated there had been issues with the streaming service, we continued to have issues with connection. Thin walls could hear people arguing in side unit. Could hear people talking outside the door of the unit, thin walled.

Our favorite spot

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Maravilla and looked forward to it in the future. The condo was just as described, they were very easy to communicate with, and although the power was out on the morning of our check in due to some work that was being done on the building they made sure to inform us the day prior. Perfect location and short walk to the beach !!

Fantastic

We really loved this property! It was a quick walk to the beach and free chairs on the beach. The appliances were brand new and the condo was extremely clean. We enjoyed all the small touches like extra beach chairs, games, books, and many dishes/pans. Our boys loved the easy access to the heated pool and hot tub. It was wonderful to sit on the patio in the mornings and evenings. We would stay here agin in a heartbeat!

Our condo was clean and very nice. Our only thought for future guests would be some details on how the beach chair system works and maybe a map of the property and suggestions on dining and excursions.

Overall everything was great property as any where had it's little quirks such certain electrical outlets not working and doors having a tricky locking mechanism but overall it was a great location and property to stay at.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was very nice and comfortable it is pet friendly with No extra charge for our 2 small dogs, that was an awesome plus and then they provide you with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella No extra charge which is another plus..you can't see the beach from the room, but it is only a short walk to the beach..I would surely recommend this place.

Our first visit to Destin Florida was years ago when the kids were still living at home. We loved Destin from the first day and vowed that someday we would own a vacation condo there. Some years later we visited Destin again and stayed at the Maravilla Resort. We loved it so much that we decided to purchase a second home there. Friends and relatives asked us to rent the condo to them. We didn’t know what to say but “okay.” After realizing our guests loved Destin and the condo experience (rather than a hotel) we decided the best thing to do was to make it available to others.

We love Destin… the sugar-white beaches, the restaurants (both fine dining and affordable family dining), outlet mall shopping, fantastic golf courses, terrific family entertainment, the friendly local people, and the gorgeous emerald green Gulf of Mexico.
