Enchanting open-space, situĂ© Ă  30 mĂštres de la plage de CefalĂč, en plein cƓur du centre historique. C’est une magnifique demeure ancienne, rĂ©cemment restaurĂ©e avec beaucoup de passion par les mains du propriĂ©taire, artisan qualifiĂ©, qui a respectĂ© la structure d’origine.
L'appartement est situé au rez-de-chaussée et se compose d'un grand salon / cuisine, d'une chambre (sur la mezzanine) et d'une salle de bain avec douche. Idéal pour 2 personnes.
Les chambres, meublées avec goût et qualité, sont embellies par une magnifique arche en pierre et un puits, tous deux originaux.
L'appartement est lumineux et bien ventilé.

Bijoux quirky gem of place in the heart of Cefalu.

We wanted a place to stay where we didn’t need to drive but could still get to everything we needed and staying in this house fitted the bill perfectly. Two minutes to the beach, bars, restaurants, shops and a nice walk to La Rocca and the street market. The house had everything we need and was exceptionally clean and tidy. An ingenious use of a fascinating space steeped in history. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay in a beautiful place.

Wonderful location in Cefalu

The apartment is in the heart of the old town and close to restaurants and stores, the beach, and tourist locations. It was well maintained with a nice kitchen, washing machine, and interesting close drying rack. There is even an old well near one wall that is covered with glass but interesting to observe. The only glitch was with the AC which had a problem. Fortunately, with fans, space was okay comfortable. The AC should have been listed as "available" since reportedly there might be an extra charge of 5E a day for it and that was not clear on the listing. We enjoyed meeting Mauricio and he made good use of a translator to communicate from Italian to English.

L’abitazione ha tutti i confort e servizi riportati sull’annuncio. Demetrio Ăš stato molto cortese e disponibile. La posizione centrale permette di non utilizzare mezzi per muoversi all’interno di CefalĂč, ma essendo all’interno della ztl non Ăš raggiungibile in auto. Esperienza molto piacevole e da ripetere.

Leider hat die Heizung (April) nicht genĂŒgend geheizt,es war kalt im Zimmer. Die Wohnung hat kein Fenster, man kann nur die TĂŒr offen lassen fĂŒr Tageslicht. Die KĂŒche ist gut eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem und die Dusche super.

L’appartamento (un ampio e confortevole monolocale con un soppalco adibito a camera da letto), ù davvero suggestivo e molto ben curato. Al piano terra trovano posto una cucina “Open”attrezzata di tutto punto, un bagno, ed una zona relax con annessa TV.

Artsy, Character, Perfect Location!

We were so impressed with Demetrio's place! From start to finish. He met us at the train station and helped us back to the apartment. He gave us delicious restaurant recommendations and good markets to shop at for groceries. Google translate was definitely helpful with the slight language barrier, we were able to communicate just fine. It was about a 15 minute walk to the apartment from the train station. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and lively. Literally a 2 minute walk down to the picturesque area of the beach and to the cathedral as well. Prime location for sure. I would like to note that there are no beach towels in the apartment. We purchased a beach blanket from the beach, and is nice quality and only 10 Euro so worth it (better than lugging big beach blankets in your suitcases for sure). Also, the toiletries are minimal, I would suggest bringing your own shampoo and conditioners. The hair dryer is really nice quality, I was happy with it, especially since we were in Cefalu for a wedding! Overall, great experience at Demetrio's HomeAway and would absolutely recommend it!

The apartment is lovely - well thought out and nicely appointed. The location can’t be beat - right in the heart of the old city. Demetrio was wonderful and easy to work with.

Tolle Wohnung in sehr guter Lage. Super Gastgeber.

Waren 2 Tage mit 2 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern in der Wohnung. Sie ist ganz liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet.Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Demetrio, der Gastgeber, ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Man lebt mitten im alten Stadtkern. Sehr empfehlenswert.

City center located groundfloor appartement with style . 50 meters off the great beach, also a lot off restaurants direct arround the corner . Realy great location. Hard to get here by car . Drop off our suitecases was diffecult in busy August month . Tiny streets in the hart off this cosy village . Parking is not possible nearby. Appartement is beautiful for max . 4 persons . We missed only the aircondition . Rest what you aspect in the apartment was there . Friendly owner . We should stay here again for sure if we visit Chefalu !

Sehr geschmackvolle Unterkunft im Zebtrum von Cefalu

Demetrio und Elena waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich.Gute Kommunikation. Leider hat das Appartment kein WiFi, daher ging nur SMS und Telefon, aber nach dem Wegfall der Roaming-gebĂŒhren kein Problem. Das Appartment liegt sehr zentral in einer kleinen Seitenstraße ganz nahe zum Strand und zu Restaurants und LĂ€den. Mit dem Auto ist es quasi nicht zu erreichen (FußgĂ€ngerzone). Man parkt ca 1km entfernt fĂŒr 7€ pro 12 Stunden. Das Appartment ist ein hoher Raum mit Treppe zum Zwischengeschoß, wo das Bett steht und somit nur fĂŒr 2 Personen geeignet. Alles ist sehr liebevoll restauriert und stylisch eingerichtet, gut in Schuß und ließ bei uns keine WĂŒnsche offen. Draußen war es heiß, aber drinnen schön kĂŒhl. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

BiĂłnica,cĂłmoda ,ben situada, en un entorn tan bonic com la casa del Demetrio i la seva parella . Cefalu ens va encandilar i poder estar en una casa del barri pescadors restaurada moderna perĂČ amb personalitat va ser fabulos....grĂ cies parella que tingueu molt a sort.

Cute house near the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at Demetrio's place! The location was perfect, in a cute little street just a couple of meters from the little beach of Cefalu. The apartment was perfectly clean and it had everything we needed. It definitely is a place with character where you feel at home right away. Thank you Demetrio for your kindness and this wonderful stay in Cefalu!

Perfect Place and Perfect Location

We spend some wonderful days at Demetrios house and felt home from the first second. Demetrio was always very kind and helpful. Check-in and check-out were very good organized and without any problems. The house is very well equipped and with a great love to details decorated. It is as nice as on the pictures shown. The location is perfect. You step out of the house and you are at the beach, bars, restaurants. We will come back!

GREAT PLACE

We arrived in Palermo and Demetrio was there to collect us which was great and within an hour we were in the apartment in CefalĂč. The apartment was great for two people. Very clean and modern. Very well finished and the location was fantastic. Right in the middle of the old town. Cefalu is beautiful and the beach is fab.. Demetrio was very helpful..

We had an exellent stay with our 2 childeren. The appartement is closeby a cute quiet beach and in smack centre. The appartement is complete and beautifully design decorated with an eye for the old details. Be sure to bring some extra towels and toiletpaper. Thanks for staying here, it was a pleasure.

Stunning, perfectly located apartment

This is a beautifully renovated old property in a picture perfect narrow Sicilian street just a very short walk to the beautiful beach of Cefalu. The photos show the apartment exactly as it is, what they don't show is the incredible attention to detail and the superb finish that the owner, Demetrio, has put into the renovation, it is superb. The eye for design and the sympathetic revamp reminds me of the Miniloft apartments I stayed in during a visit to Berlin. There is definitely love put into the work here. The apartment was spotlessly clean and all furniture and equipment were in perfect condition. It is very well equipped with all you will need for a self-catering stay in Cefalu. We cooked a lot in the apartment and the kitchen has all the equipment and utensils you will need - the owners have even provided plastic plates and cups for taking a picnic to the beach. There is also a washing machine which was really convenient for us as we were nearing the end of our 10 day trip to Sicily when we arrived in Cefalu so we got to do our laundry before we came home. There is also lots and lots of storage. The apartment is very well located in the old town and only a few steps from the beach. There are lovely restaurants located within 20 steps of the house and plenty more on the surrounding streets - you are really spoiled for choice. There is also a very good supermarket (Deco) located about a 15 minute walk away where you can stock up on all your needs for your stay and Demetrio has provided a cool little shopping trolley to make that shopping trip as easy as possible. The owners were wonderful from the first enquiry until we said goodbye at the airport. Making the reservation was simple and straightforward and Milena has perfect English so nothing lost in translation. Arrangements to collect the keys and pay balances went perfectly to schedule. Milena and Demetrio showed us how everything worked, provided us with information about where to go to do our groceries and tips for where to eat. They also made themselves available by phone if we needed any further information from them during our stay - we took them up on this offer several times and nothing was too much trouble for them. Demetrio even provided us with a transfer to the airport at the end of our stay. This apartment was definitely a gem and I would highly recommend it, in fact I am encouraging all my family and friends to go to Cefalu and to stay here, it is amazing

Ein wunderschönes Urlaubsdomizil

Unser Ferienhaus war sehr schön ausgebaut, Reste eines alten Mauerwerkes waren integriert. Die Ausstattung war super, es war alles da, was man braucht, das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Weg zum Strand war 5 Minuten, man war Mitten in der historischen Altstadt. In unmittelbarer NÀhe waren GeschÀfte und Restaurants mit typischem Flair. Alles in allem wunderbar - wir kommen wieder. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter!
