Bungalow de 4 chambres récemment rénové à la périphérie de Rock. Espace de vie moderne à aire ouverte avec poêle à bois, coin repas sur l'îlot pour 8 personnes. 3 chambres doubles, une avec salle de bains, une chambre avec lits superposés, grand jardin gazonné avec clôture le rendant adapté aux enfants et aux chiens avec des sièges ombragés sous les arbres donnant sur les champs ouverts, 5 minutes à pied du pub Pityme, à 15 minutes à pied du sentier du club de golf et du spa au Point. À 5 minutes en voiture de la plage de Rock et du ferry pour Padstow. Idéal pour 6 adultes et 2 enfants

Relaxed stay in peaceful surrounding

The house ist well equipped with a beautiful garden. Don't miss the local pub. It's only a short walk away and it offers some nice food. A small supermarket and a bakery are close by and only a 2 min drive by car down the road to Rock.

Family holiday

The property location is perfect, walking distance to local pub,tap room and fish n chip shop. Short drive to polzeath beach and wadebridge. Ferry to padstow. The property is well enquiped, lots of space lovely garden. I scored 3 on cleanliness as their was dust under the beds and around furniture. I suspect the cleaners do not move anything.

Fantastic and spacious place to stay, close to pub and beach!

Sizeable, comfortable for 8 people and we even got 3 cars on the driveway! Very sociable space, kitchen with large island great for eating together and the garden with BBQ is a great addition.Dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier meant we could travel light. Would recommend the Pityme Inn for a pint and just a five minute walk

Lovely, quiet stay near Rock

Overall this house was great. There's a lovely back yard with outdoor furniture and BBQ. There's a line for clothes between two trees which we used a lot in the fantastic weather we had. The beds were all comfy, although we didn't use the bunk room, and having two bathrooms and a washing machine was a welcome relief for weary travellers such as ourselves. This house was in a quiet location which was fantastic for sleep. Bluntrock Brewery is a 5 minute walk away, as is the Pityme Inn. The only downside was that there was no starter pack of tea and coffee etc in the kitchen and only one and a half rolls of toilet paper between 2 bathrooms. Other than that, it was great and we would stay again.

Great place.

The house was immaculate and bigger than it looked, great position for beaches and Rock and Padstow. Communication was great, beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place for our stay in Cornwall. Plenty of space for everyone. The garden was lovely while we heard sheep in the background.

Seaside getaway

Perfect for a weekend away

Lovely clean well equipped house with fantastically nice very private garden for relaxing in. Close to beaches though not really walking distance - small shops nearby. We had a great stay.

Lovely well designed house, beautiful and private garden and a good location. Great communication from Derek who was an excellent host. Easily walkable from Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay. Would certainly recommend.

beautiful house close to best parts of North Cornwall coast

The house was beutifully clean and really well equipped. It was in a quiet cul-de-sac less than 10 minutes drive from Daymer Bay and Polzeath. We could not fault it in any way.

Fabulous stay five minute drive from beach

This property was in a great location - we spent most of our stay at polzeath beach which was 2 miles away but some adults walked to it over the golf course- it was fabulous with surf waves but also amazing rockpools - just a brilliant beach - but also went to st mawes st ives and padstow Property had great enclosed safe garden with good seating and bbq Inside property was very well equipped - lots of hot water and two good showers - one over bath The provision of a decent washing line would have saved the owner some elec costs as we had to use the tumble dryer more than would have liked Local pub five mins walk did great food Comunication with the owner was great too - Would definitely return

Great bungalow for Rock/Wadebridge /Padstow area /walkers

Great accommodation , good location for walkers ( we did 11 miles to Pentire head along coast path and back across golf course) . Well equipped kitchen and nice patio and grass area with gas BBQ. Pleasant lounge /kitchen for cooler evenings as weather stopped us sitting out later. Hedge of garden could do with tidying up but COVID-19 may have Restricted access.

Lovely relaxing holiday

we had a lovely week in the bungalow very well equipt and a great private enclosed garden for dogs. The only thing I would say is that it suited us with 4 adults and 2 dogs but I think that 8 people would be very cosy and there was only a small garden table so definitely could not sit 8 outside. Pityme Inn is only a 5 min walk good beer and pub grub, great local walks and beach 30 mins walk perfect for dogs, would recommend. Would have thought bed linen and towels to have been included for the price.

Comfortable house in a great location

The house was ideal for our needs for a 5 day break. Located in a small complex of bungalows, it is very quiet and residential but only a short walk to the nearest pub, baker, fishmonger, general store and butcher (and the Sharpe’s brewery for a beer or tour). The house is very well equipped if you choose to self cater and the living space was comfortable for the 3 of us and two medium dogs. The garden is a good size, south facing, and secluded but due to the weather we didn’t make best use of it. Our host, Derek, was very quick to respond to questions.

Lovely bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac in village near the sea

Comfortable, spacious and well maintained bungalow with lots of interesting pictures and homely touches. We had a slight problem as most of the bedrooms had not had beds made up and were missing towels, but this was quickly resolved. My one criticism is that the unlined curtains let in too much early morning light. A big garden with tables, chairs and bbq, though some of the garden furniture looked in need of a bit of tlc.

Rock

This is a lovely property with plenty of space and very well equipped but is not without issues. The wifi is excellent very fast. The lounge, kitchen and garden are spacious and lovely. It's well located for Polzealth, Rock, Port Isaac and Padstow. However I found the property a little cluttered and disorganized. No welcome book. The appliance instructions were in various drawers alongside lots of useless clutter which was not helpful. The property seems to have accumulated lots of stuff which most people wouldn't use and would be better being removed. I had sciatica while on holiday and couldn't find any information in property that would help me find medical help. I had to find this myself via the internet. The washing machine was filthy. I had to clean this for around an hour before I trusted washing any whites in it. The towel rail on back of door in bathroom was hanging off the door. All the beds are all extremely soft and seem to be cheap mattresses so not good for someone with a bad back. Only one of the bedrooms had hanging space. The rest just had a chest of drawers in each. The property does provide linen but not towels and didnt offer option to rent towels. The champagne is a nice touch on arrival but personally for me I would have preferred a pint of milk for a cuppa. To sum up a very nice property in a nice location which could be so much better with a little TLC. Last year I stayed in a two bed property in the same road at same time of year for half the price of this four bed property. Although I had the extra space this time and a bigger kitchen I didn't feel it was worth double the price that I paid last year.

Cosy winter bolt hole.

We spent a few days with friends in this warm, welcoming and well equipped bungalow. Quiet neighbourhood, and really well placed for Rock, lovely local pub, ferry to Padstow and coastal path walks. The log burner was much appreciated. Would hope to go back.

I worked in Gloucester as a dentist for the last 36 years ,now retired, and have been coming to Rock for holidays for even longer .My parents brought me to Cornwall for holidays and I have had many holidays here with my own children who are now grown up and left home.

Having had many happy holidays here with my children we hope you will have as much fun in Rock as we do.There is something here for everybody,sailing at Rock beach , windsurfing and sunbathing at Daymer bay, surfing at Polzeath,golf at St Enodoc or the Point.The Eden project 40 minute drive.
