Open-plan property overlooking Polzeath Beach with stunning views of the surf and the Atlantic beyond . With wide sandy beaches, quiet coves and fishing villages close by. Set 100 metres from the Coastal Path, leading down to Polzeath beach in one direction and Daymer and Rock (and the ferry to Padstow) the other. Its no surprise our visitors are mainly regulars who consider Breakers their second home.

A perfect holiday

Thank you so much. We had the most wonderful stay at Breakers last week. The house is absolutely perfect, beautifully set-up inside. We have been coming to Polzeath for 50 years and have never stayed anywhere with such incredible views. It was a dream and we were very sad to leave.

Oasis!

Shame the property hadn’t been cleaned to a good standard

We arrived and the place looked lovely which it was, until we looked at the pillow protectors which were stained which is unacceptable in the current climate. Also it hadn’t been hoovered under the seaters as piles of dog hairs and sweet wrappers. And a dirty towel had been left on the toilet. Had to wash a lot of crockery before we could use it. I work in this industry and your cleaning was not up to standard.

Breakers - Million dollar view!

We had a great holiday. It would be good to know in advance that no tea towels, oven gloves etc were not provided as well as towels and bedding.

Lovely Easter stay

Breakers is set on the second line of properties facing the sea and beach. The benefit of that is that the property is very private whilst the first line properties have people passing on the south west coastal path all day making the gardens far from private. It is a ten minute walk to the beach while Polzeath's shops and restaurants are about 15 minutes walk via the coast path but somewhat further via the road,. Breakers is well maintained and equipped and very comfortable. The views from the property are stunning and from the lounge and patio we were able to watch members of our family surfing. We thoroughly recommend Breakers for a family holiday. We hope to return.

Nice break at Breakers

Fantastic experience. Great location and views over the bay were outstanding. Perfect for walking out onto the coastal path. Only down side was no gate on driveway so any pets could escape and dogs get in to the garden from neighbouring properties! Would definitely come back to Breakers.

Excellent beach house

Really enjoyed our stay at breakers. The house has amazing views of the sea and it is only a short walk to the beach. Really great location for a family. Local restaurants all within walking distance. Will Deffinately be hoping to stay again soon.

Lovely small town. House is clean, recently refurbished for 2021, and is in a great location (5-7 minutes from the beach). The view from the house is great! The owners were helpful, pleasant and efficient. Hope to return for more happy memories! X

A great week in Polzeath

A lovely very comfortable and well equipped property with views to Stepper Point in the West all across Padstow Bay through Polzeath Beach to Pentire Point. The sun sets into the sea .in front of you. A short walk to Polzeath Beach for restaurants and an even shorter walk to the Oystercatcher pub, closed while we were there but reopened at the time of writing.

Excellent position and view, fabulous sun sets sat on the deck. Easy walk to the beach and amenities. Could have been cleaner on arrival, but would definitely recommend.

Holiday with Granddaughter

Thank you we had a superb time and try much enjoyed being able to share you beautiful house. Also enjoyed watching the family of rabbits play ont the lawn. Our granddaughter enjoyed her surfing which was enhanced by the facilities at the house. Finding Fees Food at Rock was A. Bonus. Who needs a restaurant with this facility to hand. Thank you. Homely & comfortable house with great views all round from Breakers

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay a great place for walking from, watching surfing etc in Polzeath & to Rock for a visit to Padstow via the ferry. Lovely local places to eat the ‘Cracking Crab’ & the ‘Mowhay Cafe’. A new area for us to discover & will be looking to return.

An extremely comfortable house with a perfect view!

My wife and I spent three weeks at Breakers in September and were captivated by an amazing view across the Camel Estuary, from Stepper Point to Pentire Point. It was a wonderfully restful break in an extremely well equipped house, with a very effective night storage heating system. The kitchen was well set-up with everything we could have needed. It was separated from the living area just by a unit, so anybody cooking was still part of the whole. Not being surfers, we enjoyed many walks along the nearby coastal footpath to Daymer Bay and Polzeath. And then there was wonderful fish in Port Isaac. Out of self-interest and the hope of future holidays, we were tempted to be lukewarm about Breakers - but conscience wouldn't let us. We really loved it!

We love Breakers and Polzeath

Some 30 years ago we were staying in a caravan in Polzeath and whilst walking the coastal path around to Daymer Bay we noticed Breakers on the cliff side with its fantastic views.We thought it would be the ideal place for a family holiday and the fact that we must have revisited 25 times since confirms that for our family it is perfect.Initially we came with our 3 boys who learned to surf in Polzeath and with the beach coastal path pubs etc there is never a shortage of things to do.Children have grown up so now we visit Breakers with in-laws as 3 couples.Its open plan design and floor to ceiling windows maximise the views and the bungalow has been modernised over the years so remains well equipped

Cosey, clean and comfortable. A gem in Cornwall

We stayed at Breakers April 2016. The views are to die for. As two hard working mature publicans from Exeter my husband and I were looking for a quiet location to relax and recharge. We found it !!!!! Breakers was perfect. Situated a stones throw from the beach, restaurants and shops at Polzeath the car could stay at the bungalow. Due to its location Breakers is a good base for walkers, surfers and visitors who just wish to relax. The enclosed garden means the property is suitable for families or couples just wishing a relaxing holiday. We found Breakers to be equipped with all the mod cons that you could require to enhance your stay. Richard and Tereen provided us with all the information that we required for our stay, providing prompt replies to any questions prior to our stay. Thank you Richard and Tereen for giving us the opportunity to stay in your little Gem in Cornwall. We will be back.

A well maintained and equipped family bungalow.

As a family of 6 adults and 2 young children, we thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at ‘Breakers’ in October 2016. The accommodation was all that we hoped it would be from the description in the listing. The kitchen was very well equipped (although we could have done with some more glass tumblers) and a high standard of cleanliness was maintained throughout the property. We were impressed with the spacious rooms and garden, giving the 6 year old and 3 year old plenty of room to run around. Whilst the ensuite bedroom was very modern, the shower in the bathroom was not as efficient as we would have liked but having 3 toilets on the property was a bonus with our large family. Views from the bungalow were panoramic and the sighting of dolphins in the bay was exciting. The beach and shops were within easy walking distance for the children, and the adults enjoyed the cliff walks to nearby bays. We are all looking forward to another stay later this year and would certainly recommend the accommodation to any family wanting a holiday by the sea.

Great Views

Great views over the beach and cliffs Ideal location for sandy beach at Polzeath or exploring the coves and cliff top paths. Basic but clean accommodation, especially like the sliding glass frontage and wooden decking.

fabulous setting

I have stayed many times in Breakers over the past few years, my last visit was in October with a friend. The property is perfect for two or for a family as the accommodation is very flexible. Breakers is situated on the cliff top overlooking Polzeath beach and has easy access to the footpath leading to the beach and Polzeath itself with its shops and restaurants. The property is light and airy with such great views and is ideal for a weekend for two or for a family holiday and is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable
