Récemment mis à jour 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain chalet de plage situé sur la 2ème rangée de l'océan. À quelques pas de l'accès à la plage de l'autre côté de la rue. Belle vue sur l'océan et le son, située à quelques minutes des commerces et de la bonne cuisine. 12 couchages avec 4 lits queen, 2 lits jumeaux et canapé. 3e salle de bain / douche située au rez-de-chaussée.

Great Location and Responsive Owners

Annual family EI trip. Both Ocean & Sound Views is a great location. Close beach access made going to and from the beach easy and convenient. Wonderful ocean breezes on the front porch made late day/ early evenings even more enjoyable. Dona was very prompt in returning text messages and handling any issue that arose. Kitchen still needs a few minor touchups, but it was nothing that compromised our vacation. Overall, a great vacation for the five of us and two dogs.

Close to the beach!

Overall we had a great stay. Close walk to the beach. House was clean and had some updates. Lots of beach chairs and a wagon provided by the property. Well maintained house. Its a drive to get to all the restaurants in Emerald Isle or up to Atlantic beach. But its centrally located to get to all of the things! Owner was easy to get ahold of and very responsive.

Great short stay

The property was perfect for us and our adult children/teen in order to us to have a quick trip before college and school starts. . Clean home and clean, quiet neighborhood, only a short walk from beach access.

Great location

Renting this property and communication with the owner was very simple. Front and back decks offered great views. Hot tub was great for tired muscles and achey feet. Smart tv offered streaming choices but the internet was a bit slow for working...not that I'm complaining. Was a great getaway and we would rent again. Thanks so much!

Great location horrible house- in disrepair, not clean, left over food…:( .

The owner said we complained when we mentioned the hot tub had not been cleaned ( as it turns out it was broken. ) we requested ( no reply) a partial refund. Because as it turns out it was inoperable. This is part of the last text I sent. We threw $500 out as a percentage of total paid. And by no means was it us taking advantage. And I’m shocked by the attitude of “us taking advantage” / “complaining”. You disregarded my original attempt to discuss a good faith partial refund. When I notified you that the hot tub wasn’t clean- it was not to complain. But to inform you that you are paying for a service that is not being rendered. When you advertise amenities on a weekly beach rental property, why would it be unreasonable for us, who selected your property, because of, the hot tub, to expect it to be working. I understand things happen. Things happened from the moment we walked in. And we dealt with it. ( no light in the kitchen our first night) trying to re-pair ceiling fan lights. Open food in the pantry. Multiple leftover half used shampoo bottles in every shower… mold in showers, broken toilets. Food in fridge inside ( 5 bottles of maple syrup) & outside ( I didn’t touch it. The milk expired June 9th) a dead bird In The outdoor shower. - no we did not say a word. It’s actually still there, under the floor. All of it, because I felt like I was being a pain when inquiring abt the hot tub and hoping to get it resolved. Honestly, I was just happy to be on vacation in your lovely beach house that just needs attention. I’ve been renting beach properties for 25 years, multiple weeks a year. I’ve never had an experience like this.

Needs some TLC & deep clean- location is great tho

While we enjoyed our vacation in Emerald Isle unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at this house. The property manager was very kind and responsive & the location is great, but I have to be honest regarding our visit. The house has an extreme musty smell which is exemplified at night & early am, the scent was so strong that we had to wash everything when we got home (even clothes unworn). It also feels very damp inside no matter how cool it was in the house. It also doesn’t feel clean. (I think a deep clean is needed.) The jack & Jill toilet WAS NOT bolted down therefore, it shifted when sitting on it. The shower curtain rod in the same bathroom fell multiple times (once hitting a one year old child on the head while bathing) the curtain has mold on it as well. Something to note, the rooms are all on one level & the home is smaller than the pics make it appear… we probs would’ve booked a dif house had we realized this beforehand. Overall, we were really disappointed in our stay and shocked because all the previous reviews were great. Not sure what was up, but the week of our stay was not the most pleasant.

This cottage has easy beach access and the covered front deck got a lot of use. Enjoyed the beach, a visit to the aquarium, and Shepeds’s bbq!

Really enjoyed the porches and the beautiful views of the ocean and the sound. Even though it is not beachfront you can hear the sounds of the ocean. Loved that!

Thanksgiving at the shore

This is a nice little property, with a convenient floor plan of two bedrooms and one bath on each side of the kitchen & living room. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs. The refrigerator fan runs noisily for most of the time.

House was great as was location but…..

This is a great property that just needs a little love,toilet seat in guest bath was cracked,washing machine doesn’t drain,and there was so much chlorine in the hot tub it was unusable. In my opinion all these things are minor and overall we very much enjoyed the home and our time spent there and would stay there again. Adam and Dona were excellent hosts.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location, steps from beach access with a good view from the balconies. An additional bonus was the outdoor bathroom. Dona was kind and readily responsive to our needs. The negative thing about this house is that the bathrooms and kitchen are outdated and the ceiling fans in the main living area aren't working. Also, the kitchen cabinets and pantry and outdoor bathroom were quite cluttered; the cabinets and pantry could use a good cleaning.

Fantastic views and beach location

Our family had a fantastic time at this property. It was our first time visiting the area and the views from this property were amazing. Beach was not crowded at all because its primarily used by locals and those renting homes in the neighborhood. Short drive to stores/restaurants. Dona was extremely helpful and responsive in all of our communication. Description and pictures were spot-on. The downstairs/outdoor bathroom was very convenient when spending the day at the beach. Our family (10 adults) used the front porch continuously---great spot to enjoy the views and just spend quality family time. Kitchen was well stocked for all of your cooking/eating needs. Plenty of parking. Beach chairs available if you forgot yours. Charcoal and propane grills. Firepit for cooking up some s'mores. Only cons were squeaky beds, kitchen drawers felt like they could easily be pulled out. Bathrooms and bedrooms could use a little updating. If you're looking for a budget-friendly rental that has fantastic views and beach access then this is the place.

Nice place

Nice place to stay. Clean and has a nice balcony with supplies as needed, including beach chairs and games for kids. Right off the beach! We had a great time here. Cons are that it's a bit dated and showerheads are a bit weak. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice vacation in Emerald Isle.

This house was perfect! Close to beach access, quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and stores, house was clean and stocked with everything you may need. Owners were easy to reach. Just an all around great house to stay at.

Great Place

Family and I stayed for 2 days for a quick get away. The location of the property is perfect. Easy access to the beach. The house is cozy and we felt like we were at home. We definitely will stay there again.

Nice for Quiet Vacation

The property was really close to the beach, two close areas to walk to beach, which was nice and not populated. The deck was gated which was great for pets and young kids. I wish there was another grill aside from the charcoal one. The porch was great but for large families or grilling there is no space to eat on the porch where the grill is and small table on front porch, so something to consider if you want to dine outside , but a pleasant quiet stay

Wonderful Beach House

Everything was as advertised. Nice location across from the beach, views of both the sound and ocean. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and had all the necessities for a weekend away. Great property!
