La cabane est entourée d'un ruisseau à truites soutenu par un couvoir avec un bel aménagement paysager. Il y a des sentiers de randonnée qui vous mènent à travers la forêt nationale de Pisgah à partir de la cabine.
La propriété de 12 acres est incroyable! Vous traverserez le pont couvert, traverserez le portail électrique privé et remonterez le long chemin pavé jusqu'à la cabine. Découvrez tout le confort moderne dans un cadre boisé paisible au pied du mont. Pisgah. Les vues d'automne et d'hiver sur la montagne depuis le porche sont spectaculaires. La canopée boisée de chênes, de peupliers et de bouleaux couvre la vue sur la montagne pendant les mois d'été et fournit une ombre fraîche pour se détendre à l'extérieur sur le porche près du ruisseau, du porche arrière ou de la terrasse.
La cabine est située à quelques minutes d'Asheville, de la Blue Ridge Parkway, du Mt Pisgah et du Biltmore Estate. En outre, il existe de nombreuses activités d'aventure en plein air à proximité: randonnée, rafting en eau vive, kayak, pêche à la mouche, VTT, escalade et visites en cascade.
Passez la journée dans le centre-ville d'Asheville à dîner, à déguster nos bières locales, à faire du shopping ou à regarder les gens passer.

Once in a Lifetime Trip

This cabin was great! It was exactly as depicted in the pictures. The cabin was very clean and very well stocked with everything you could think of. It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and listen to the little creek run by the cabin. I also sat in the screened in porch on the rocker and read a book. I really wish we could've enjoyed it a little longer. Our vacation was interrupted by the flooding and Hurricane Helene, so we did not get to enjoy the hot tub or the trail behind the cabin. We ended up leaving in a hurry. We would definitely recommend a stay at this cabin!

Fall getaway

Beautiful house and location. It would have been absolutely perfect if not for the barking dogs on a neighboring property that at any time, day or night would bark for hours. This did take away some of the charm. When quiet, the sounds of the creek was very soothing and enjoyable.

Amazing property in a beautiful location

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We absolutely loved the property, tucked back in a secluded area by itself, along the creekside. In the mornings, we were able to sit on the deck and watch the wildlife while listening to the creek (and the nearby rooster). Everything was well maintained and clean, with amenities to make our stay even more enjoyable. One great example is the free WiFi. This is critical here, if you wish to use your cell phone, as cell coverage is near non-existent. But on WiFi you can use WiFi calling to remain connected. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living areas were super comfortable. All in all, this was a fantastic stay, and we will be back again.

I have stayed at many VRBOs over the years but this surpassed them all. I will definitely be returning and can recommend this place without reservation. The brook is fantastic and we porches a special treat.

Mountain Serenity: A Creek-Side Cabin Oasis

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this cabin in North Carolina, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Nestled just minutes from mountain trails, the location couldn't be more perfect for nature lovers. The property is surrounded by a serene creek, offering breathtaking views that promise to enchant. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay—truly a home away from home. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventurous getaway, this place has it all. The only slight downside was the neighbor’s dogs, which barked throughout the entire day. However, this did not dampen the overall experience, and it's important to note that this was beyond the control of the cabin owner. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature without sacrificing comfort. Five stars!

Relaxing and Peaceful

Beautiful Property

This is a lovely little cabin on a beautiful property. We reserved four days, but when South Carolina was declared a State of Emergency, due to Hurricane Debby, we had to leave after two days in order to protect our home. Due to the State of Emergency, we feel that a partial refund or credit should have been offered.

A True Gift

I booked this trip away in early February, as I sat with my wife in the ICU at UNC Hospital while she was on life support fighting for her life. We always took a vacation the last week of May, and I was determined we still were. I immediately knew where we should go, back to the cabin we stayed in when we got married. Through the next hours, days, weeks, now months I have witnessed miracles in the healing of my beautiful wife. As we drove over the covered bridge and up the driveway to the cabin, tears flowed from her eyes. We stayed at the cabin most of the time, just relaxing and enjoying our time together. Sitting on the back deck listing to the stream was a favorite, as was the afternoon we spent at the NC Arboretum. This will always be a very special time, at a very special place to us. A true gift to us both, and I can not thank you enough for the opportunity to have been your guests. I am sure we will be back again.

Beautiful home & surroundings

We LOVED the home, location & ammenities. I travel a great deal, and there are many reasons that I loved this home. The mattress, furniture, towels, cookware, utensils, toilet paper...all high quality. Not that horrible one-ply garbage. And the entire place, inside and out, clean and organized. We had the windows open the entire time and you can hear the river from everywhere in the house! So relaxing. Sleeping with that sound is the absolute BEST. A lot of the time, the actual listing isn't as 'great' as the pictures show - but this one nailed it. What you see is what you get and you will love it. Top notch communication with the property manager. There was only one 'issue', if you want to call' it that, was the barking dogs. The visitors before us noted the dogs in the guest book, as well, but I didn't see it anywhere else in the book, so I am assuming this is a temporary issue. It's far enough away not to drive you crazy & it's only during the day, but still loud enough that you hear it. No fault of the property owners/management. Maybe someone on vacation and their dogs are out during the day alone? Also - the location is awesome. Close to Asheville & the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is endless things to do. We liked to venture out once a day, but mainly stayed at the cabin because it's so amazing - hot tub, river, fire pit, deer, etc. Fabulous!! We plan to return this autumn.

Relaxing Stay!

What a wonderful anniversary trip! My husband and I enjoyed the peacefulness of the cabin and its surroundings. Coffee each morning on the porch and relaxing each evening to the sounds of the stream below was amazing! The house was very inviting and cozy! We appreciate the quick attention of the host to respond to our messages and needs!

Just what I needed

This property gave me the exact break from work that I needed. From spending mornings with coffee and a book with the sound of the stream to afternoons walking the trails to evenings catching up on movies (after some time in the hot tub), I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I particularly liked the fact that the two balconies and the firepit area gave me a variety of places to sit and relax. The fact that I didn't have to drive anywhere to enjoy walking through the woods was great, too. I could easily see myself coming back again when I have some time off.

Wonderful vacation

Cabin is amazing! The 2 porches were very nice. Especially the large porch on the back facing the creek. We enjoyed listening to the water flowing along. Furniture was very comfortable. Living room furniture was so comfy and perfect for reading or watching tv. Cabin was very clean. We did not use the hot tub.

Secluded Cabin

This was a short stay for us, but the cabin was better than advertised. The rooms were smartly laid out, and their was everything one would need. After a couple of long days driving & exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding areas, it was nice to come back for a good soak in the hot tub. Tammy is very responsive and made sure our stay was great!

Perfect setting

Wow this place is amazing. I stayed here during my solo trip to NC and I looked forward to “coming home” to relax in this cozy peaceful place every night. The calming sound of the stream below, birds chirping was just the thing. . Tammy the host was great! In the middle of getting ready to venture out to my Biltmore excursion I heard a loud bang out by the road and then the power went out. I immediately messaged Tammy and she reported the issue. A few minutes after pulling out of the driveway, I passed the lineman truck and the power was back on shortly. Except for my hair being a little wild, it was all good. I sincerely hope to return again. I lived every moment and every detail.

My name is Rebecca, and I was born in a little farm house less than 3 miles from this beautiful mountain getaway. My mother went into labor during her morning hike in the Pisgah National Forest and the rest is history! When my sister, Annie, and my husband, Nicholas, started our search for the perfect mountain cabin years ago, we couldn’t have imagined what was in store for us; a cabin tucked away among the mountains, surrounded by creeks, bordering the Pisgah National Forest, AND a short drive to downtown Asheville. It really doesn’t get any better! We are so in love with this little slice of heaven and hope you love it too.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Me and my three siblings were born and raised in the Asheville area and have had the unique pleasure of watching it change over the decades. Although life has taken us to different parts of the United States, what remains constant is our love for the Asheville area and its surrounding mountains. Having traveled this world I truly believe there is no place more peaceful or beautiful than Western North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We searched for the perfect cabin getaway tucked among the mountains for many years. We knew we wanted a place in Candler, surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and close to all of our favorite spots on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the charm of downtown Asheville. This home was exactly what we had been waiting for all these years! As we drove down Pisgah Highway on our way to see this property, we admired the views of Mt. Pisgah, while a peaceful quiet settled over us. We crossed the private covered bridge leading to the property and heard the rushing waters surrounding us. Walking through the cabin we admired the unique hand-crafted construction. We relaxed on the 25-foot porch overlooking the stream and knew this was the most unique property around. The interior is cozy and exquisite, simple yet luxurious. Surrounded by all the best elements of nature, we knew this cabin would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two.
