DESCRIPTION

Situé au 6Úme et dernier etage d'un bùtiment du 19Úme siÚcle avec ascenseur, cet appartement lumineux et paisible de 100 mÚtres carrés a été rénové par un architecte
et se situe à quelques pas de la rue Mouffetard et du Panthéon .

L'appartement dispose de sa propre entrĂ©e privĂ©e qui offre beaucoup d'espace pour les bagages et d'un vestiaire, un salon spacieux avec 2 canapĂ©s (dont un convertible pour 2 personnes), une salle Ă  manger avec une grande table pour 8 personnes, une cuisine amĂ©ricaine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec puits de lumiĂšre et deux chambres chacune a l' extrĂšme opposĂ© de l'appartement . Chaque chambre a un lit queen size trĂšs confortable , un placard, et sa propre salle de bains adjacente. Une des salles de bains a une baignoire et une toilette, l'autre a une salle de douche et un WC sĂ©parĂ©. Une piĂšce sĂ©parĂ©e sert d'espace de bureau. L'appartement est trĂšs lumineux, avec beaucoup de fenĂȘtres donnant sur les toits de Paris, sur la cour et la rue. Bien que le quartier est animĂ©, l'appartement est trĂšs calme, car il est situĂ© dans une petite rue avec un trafic limitĂ© et des fenĂȘtres Ă  double vitrage.

L'appartement est livré avec téléphone gratuit 100 pays, y compris l'Amérique du Nord et l' Australie, une connexion Wi-Fi, la télévision par cùble.

Le tarif de location hebdomadaire tout compris inclut un jeu de linge de qualité.

EMPLACEMENT

Le 5e arrondissement de Paris est l'un des quartiers centraux de la ville, situé sur la rive gauche au sud de la Seine. Vous etes entoures de petits cafés et restaurants pittoresques, des magasins alimentaires specialises , et bien sûr de la rue Mouffetard qui offre un marché alimentaire quotidien avec un large choix de fruits et légumes, fromages, vin, fleurs , fruits de mer, pùtisseries et chocolat parisiens.

Vous trouverez Ă©galement aux environs une pharmacie, un supermarchĂ©, une bibliothĂšque publique, un parking public souterrain, et mĂȘme une piscine.

La place de la Contrescarpe et de l' Eglise Saint-Médard sont à quelques pas de là.

Perfect family stay in the Latin Quarter

Perfect apartment for 2 families. My husband and I had our own bedroom / bathroom on one end of the elongated apartment. Kitchen dinning, washer & dryer, living room in center - with view of city. Our daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren - had the other end of the apartment. So privacy and a central living space that allowed us to enjoy our evenings together. Each morning one of the family would head out for morning baguette and croissants which were 1-2 blocks away. PERFECT LOCATION ! Rue Mouffetard has lots of great restaurants, small grocery stores. Only caution I would give re: the apartment is the window latches are easily reached by a young child and can't be locked - apartment is on the 6th floor. We went to the nearest hardware store and purchased plastic zip ties to secure the windows - because of our 4 yo grandchild. Olivier the manager was great to work with. I would certainly use the apartment for future visits to Paris.

A fantastic apartment

My wife and I (in our 70's) and my brother (in his 60's) loved this place. The unit is in a great non-touristy neighborhood. There is a square nearby which is teeming with life every night when the locals chill our after work. There is a Boulangerie (the "ie" means they make everything on premises) in two blocks walk. There is a farmers market a few blocks away with great fresh produce and cheeses and meats. There is a small market in the square and a few blocks away is a Naturalia, which has organic and healthy grocery and wine options. The unit is on the top floor and while like most units in Paris doesn't have air conditioning it gets great ventilation through the 270 degree window placements. We needed the lift given our age. The beds are really nice with lots of storage closets and drawers. There are additional convertible sofas if you need to sleep more. There is a well stocked bookshelf so you don't need to buy your Paris tourist books since he has several on the shelf. The Kitchen is well equipped. There is a dining room and an office so nice if you are cooking in and also need to do a little work. A bathroom with shower appliances and another bathroom with a shower made it easy for the three of us. The place was clean and plenty of necessities like toilet paper and foil etc. Plenty of silverware and cooking utensils. It absolutely lacked nothing. There are two Metro and RER stop close by. So, getting around was easy. We would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful, comfortable, convenient apartment in the Latin Quarter

I spent the month of April in this apartment, and was so glad I had found it. Everything worked out extremely well for us. It's on a very quiet street, but just about a 5-minute walk to 2 different metro lines, and here are lots of good cafes, bakeries, etc. very nearby. I liked the layout of this apartment. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment, making them very quiet, and the beds were very comfortable (always something of a risk when renting for several weeks). Also, I liked that it has windows on opposite sides to allow a nice cross breeze on warmer days. (The only time I might be hesitant about renting this place is in a long spell of very hot weather, since it's on the top floor and gets lots of sun.) The property manager was very helpful - waiting at the door to meet me and very responsive to any later questions. It was a perfect homeaway-rental experience. Everything about our stay was perfect. Olivier and Salvador were both very helpful and friendly. The flat was quiet yet close to many sites, we did not use the metro at all, but walked everywhere. We were two couples, there was plenty of room and privacy. The kitchen was well stocked. We would stay here again.

Great Apartment in Wonderful Paris Quarter

The apartment was perfect for us. Located in the 5th Arrondissement on an ancient Parisian street, just behind the Lycee Henri IV and a block from the lively Place de la Contrescarpe, with its cafes, and Rue Mouffetard, with its great food shops, the apartment is on the top floor of an elevator building, with no other apartments adjacent. It is clean, roomy, full of light and extremely quiet. The bedrooms are located at either end of the apartment and each has its own bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of closet space. The washer and dryer are quiet and very convenient. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, and we had fun shopping on the Rue Mouffetard and cooking dinner for Parisian friends. The dining room can comfortably seat six to eight. The living room is a cozy place to sit and watch TV, if you are so inclined. There are many restaurants in the area, from the one-star Michelin choices to simple and inexpensive ones. The apartment's central location makes it easy to walk to the Luxembourg Gardens or Notre Dame. And if you would rather not walk, there is a Metro line in the nearby Place Monge and another on the Rue Cardinal LeMoine to get you anywhere in Paris. There is a great open-air market three times a week in the Place Monge (5 minutes away). Olivier, the manager, is very responsive if you need to contact him for anything. In short, we were extremely pleased with the apartment and plan to rent it again when we return to Paris.

Perfectly located gem in the 5ieme

We were in Paris as a family for a mix of vacation and work. This apartment suited us perfectly. It is well located, barely 5 minute walk from the Sorbonne, Pantheon and a short stroll to the Rue Mouffetard. The apartment is light, airy, clean withe some nice views over rooftops. It is very well fitted out with everything for a comfortable stay. The two larger bedrooms are at opposite ends of the 'L shaped' flat providing some privacy. There is a small study that can be set up as a single bedroom which worked well for our teenager. Arrangements to hand over the key were smooth and an excellent set of instructions and suggestions were left for guests. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful. Light & Bright Apartment. Spacious.

The apartment looks just as good as the pictures depict. Well equipped for sure. I'd consider this apartment a 3 bedroom as you can request that the office be transitioned into a small bedroom suitable for a child or teenager. Tons of windows that catch the breeze. Very close to many cafe's and pubs but just far enough away where the noise does not bother. We walked to Notre Dame area and took the Metros & RER to everything else and that was easy. Loved it. Love Paris.

Great location in Latin Quarter, spacious and bright. Very good amenities.

The apartment is very spacious with the layout easily accommodating 4 or 5 persons. It faces east so you get the morning sun and the views are very good. The washer/dryer is handy for lengthy stays and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to dine in. It has a fridge, oven, cooktop, microwave and basic cooking supplies. There are two bathrooms, one for the master bedroom area and one at the other end where there is another bedroom and small office ( that can be converted to a single bedroom). Like almost all Paris apartments, air conditioning is not available so we kept the windows open on hot evenings ( we had a few days in the high 90's) to allow the cooler night air in and used fans. Ollivier is very attentive and responsive to any issue. The small elevator is very handy since the apartment is on the top (6th) floor. The location is perfect for the Latin Quarter. It's about 3 blocks from the Pantheon and a block away from Rue Mouffetard where there are many restaurants, bars, grocery stores and local market merchants. Two subway lines are within a 5 minute walk and both will get you to areas near other major sites. The Paris subway system is great and easy for getting around- just remember there is a lack of air conditioning so they get quite warm. Also the subways typically involve many steps to transfer from line to line or to the ground level so are not as handicap/ stroller friendly as one would see in North America.

Wonderful stay in Paris over New Years

Owners rep was easy to deal with and provided a brief but complete overview of the apartment upon arrival. Beautiful unit with nice views, well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Unit is in an excellent location in the Latin Quarter, one block from restaurants, shops, bakeries and a short walk to the metro station. The unit help make for a perfect vacation in Paris.

Great location and very comfortable!

What a super apartment for two couples! We called Olivier upon arrival and he met us at the apartment and gave us the info we needed along with answering questions. We loved the lively Rue Mouffetard area combined with the quietness and security of this apartment's location. It's terrific and unusual to have a spacious (1000sf) apartment in a building with an elevator in Paris and it served as our hub for the trip. The weather was PERFECT when we visited (Sept. 20-26, 2016) and it was great to open the top floor windows to view the beautiful neighborhood and beyond. It was handy to have living/dining/kitchen along with the two bedrooms and bathrooms located on opposite sides of the apartment. Also handy was the washer and dryer and the good wifi. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the closets plentiful for our needs. The closest Metro station (Place Monge) is about 4-5 blocks away and Uber is alive and well in Paris. The Parisians were so nice, kind, and helpful to us many times; don't let anyone tell you they are rude!

Excellent apartment, great location

We're a family of 5. Our aim was to stay 10 days in Paris as much integrated to the city as possible, not as tourists. My wife and I used to go to Paris once a year staying always at the St. Germain area, but with our kids (16-18-20) we'd like to try a place more frequented by students. The Quartier Latin, 5th arrondissement, seemed to be perfect - and it really was - so we focused on an apartment in that area with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. By the description, the apartment looked to be perfect - and we came to confirm it later. It's very well located, within a wlking distance from the Panthéon, the Sorbonne, rue Mouffetard with its market place and lots of cafés and restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Walking a little more - which is one of the best things to do in Paris - you're at the boulevard St. Michel, the Seine, the Notre Dame, the Jardin des Plantes; to the other side, the magnificent Jardin de Luxembourg, the St. Sulpice church, the St. Germain area. Through the 2 subway stations nearby, or via the BateauBus, we could reach all city's marvelous monuments, museums, shopping malls, restaurants, etc. The location steps were very easy, and Olivier was there very punctually to welcome me. The apartment was impecable! It's a cozy and bright 6th floor piece with all the necessary appliances, including a very good wi-fi. We'd love to make our breakfast and other meals in the spacious dining room close to the kitchen. There was a "green book" with a series of tips of restaurants, shops, etc, as well as the description of functioning of all appliances. I not only recommend the appartment - I look forward to going there once again!

My sister and I recently stayed in this contemporary, peaceful, large apartment (1000 sq.ft), ideally located a few blocks from the Pantheon and the restaurants and shop on Rue Mouffetard. The building is extremely well kept, has security-controlled access and the apartment is located on the 6rd floor (French) with an elevator. Yes, an elevator. The apartment definitely lived up to our expectations. It is spotlessly clean and has lots of windows overlooking Paris. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfort, bright, airy apartment, with its many floor to ceiling windows. The unit has a well equipped full kitchen, large dining and living rooms, as well as laundry facilities, allowing you to pack light. The two bathrooms are also good size and at opposite ends of the apartment, providing lots of privacy. The beds are very comfortable. The Wi-Fi is fast, allowing Face Time and Skype to work well. The location is perfect. Numerous cafes, bakeries, and shops are within a block walking distance and two different metro stops are about a 5 minute walk. Luxembourg train station and gardens is 10 minutes away. The area has excellent restaurants in a variety of price ranges and a wonderful Sunday market for picking up the makings of a quiet meal at home. We would love to return to this charming apartment. Olivier was the most welcoming person. He was very attentive, reaching out to us before our arrival, during, and after our stay. The owner left information about the neighborhood and apartment that was very helpful. Paris is a beautiful place. Our stay at this lovely apartment was the icing on a magnificent cake. We left Paris on Friday morning November 13, right before the attack on Paris. We were deeply saddened for the Parisians and send our sincere condolences for this tragic event.

Perfect!

This apartment is perfect! Location is fantastic. Close to Pantheon, Jardins de Luxembourg, Blvd. St. Michel, Rue Mouffetard and RER line & Metro lines. The neighborhood is excellent with multiple stores/restaurants/cafes/etc. easily accessible including a public swimming pool. Olivier, the property manager, was excellent and very informative! Thank you very much! Not only would I rent this apartment again when I return, I will also recommend to all my family and friends! A wonderful return to Paris and first time experience for my friend!

Birthday celebration

I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday in Paris with my daughters. The apartment was perfect! It is spacious and well-designed, with a bedroom and bathroom on each end anchored by a living room, dining room and open kitchen in the middle. It is on the top floor with many windows and a skylight. It is very well equipped with a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, hair dryer etc. the living room features the most comfortable sofa bed any of us have ever used. The location is perfect! The steer is quiet yet only one block from the Rue Mouftard with all of its shops and restaurants. The Luxenbourg Garden, Pantheon, St. Michele, St. Germaine, and the Isle St. Louis are all within walking distance and bus and metro are close by. I hope to stay here whenever I am in Paris

Wonderful time

The apartment is a couple minutes from the lively Place Contrescarpe, but on a quiet street which makes it very peaceful. Plus lots of windows and on the top floor so was very bright and sunny. I loved that the 2 bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment, so early risers and late sleepers could each have their space. I also loved being so close to all these food shops on rue Mouffetard, wonderful cheeses, butchers, bakeries, and the daily market nearby. Being close to the Pantheon meant we were able to go most places on foot. The apartment was just perfect, and we hope to be able to go back one day. Thanks again!
