Ce charmant cottage (non-fumeur) de 3 chambres à coucher et 2 salles de bain a une grande cour arrière et une véranda arrière pour un café matinal ou une boisson de l’après-midi. Idéal pour les petites familles matures, 3 couples et / ou les personnes ayant des difficultés à gravir plusieurs marches. AUCUN PARTY GROUPS / NO PETS! Nouvelle cuisine moderne entièrement équipée. Nouvelles terrasses extérieures et merveilleux espace de vie pour toute la famille. grillades en plein air et une table de crabe sont à l'arrière pour un bouillon de crabe de la famille! . La chambre principale a sa propre entrée privée à la véranda afin de ne pas déranger votre invité si vous vous levez tôt pour ce beau lever de soleil sur l'Atlantique. Grand hamac sur la véranda avec son propre ventilateur pour vous garder au frais tout en vous relaxant! La douche extérieure est également reliée à la véranda de sorte que vous ne devez pas aller à l'extérieur pour y arriver. En outre, il y a un banc sur le porche ombragé pour se détendre dans l'un. m. Première maison hors route d'accès à la plage et la plage juste à un stand de sauveteur, il est facile de se rendre sur le sable! Nous sommes en face de The Sea Ranch Resort.
Nous fournissons des chaises de plage et des jouets pour votre voyage à la plage. Linge de bain et serviettes de cuisine sont fournis. agrafes de cuisine sont fournis pour vous aider à démarrer. Il y a un combo laveuse / sécheuse superposées et une nouvelle corde à linge à l'arrière et un sur véranda pour tous ces costumes et des serviettes humides. VOUS DEVEZ FOURNIR VOS PROPRES FEUILLES ET SERVIETTES DE PLAGE !! ANIMAUX NON ADMIS, cependant, il y a de très bonnes installations d'embarquement à quelques minutes du chalet si vous voulez que vos animaux de compagnie soient à proximité.
Le YMCA local se trouve à seulement quelques kilomètres et propose des forfaits hebdomadaires moyennant des frais supplémentaires pour les familles souhaitant passer du temps en piscine. Nous sommes également à 20 minutes en voiture du nouveau parc aquatique Outer Banks. Cependant, vous êtes en face de l'océan!
Sandy Bottoms décor lumineux et heureux est en constante évolution. Nous avons toujours un projet pour améliorer et mettre à jour notre deuxième maison. Beautiful and cozy place right by the beach!

This house is cozy and beautifully decorated. I really appreciated all the seating choices! The living room was comfortable and the screened in porch is a unique addition that I enjoyed reading my book and drinking my coffee in. The location is hard to beat since the beach is right there! The front porch was a great spot for coffee and to just enjoy the beach air! I also loved the back yard space with the outdoor private shower. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen as well which made eating in very easy!

Home away from home & 1 block from the beach

We opened the door into a comfortable beach house with: a modern equipped kitchen; a large screened-in back porch with seating and dining table; and a fenced-in back yard complete with grill, picnic table, hammock, clothes lines, and plenty of thick grass to walk around barefoot. The front porch is great for people watching and meeting locals who live in the neighborhood. Plus, it's located near shopping and restaurants. All-in-all, a great place to stay in Kill Devil Hills. Enjoy!

Always a pleasure to stay at Sandy Bottoms

Sandy Bottoms is the epitome of a quaint OBX beach cottage in our estimation! We had stayed at this cottage before the current owners bought the property, and must say Keturah has beautifully transformed this adorable cottage!!! Almost unrecognizable !! Lovely upgrades in the kitchen, bathroom , flooring, addition of an outdoor patio, outdoor enclosed shower, and many tasteful beach themed decorations throughout the cottage. Comfortable furniture, across from the Sea Ranch resort for a great breakfast, and a quick walk to the beach make for a perfect stay at Sandy Bottoms for our family!! The only very minor surprise was that we had to bring our own umbrella for the outdoor table on the patio which we assumed was included judging from the pictures of the cottage showing beach umbrella at the table. Again, a very minor inconvenience for us to pack our own beach umbrella. Definitely plan to enjoy a future stay at the Epps adorable Sandy Bottoms!!!

Perfect location!

Only a short walk to the beach, but wonderful and relaxing stay at Sandy Bottoms as well. The house is warm and inviting......beautifully furnished and accommodating. Any thing you need, besides the beach, is nearby. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

This is my second time staying at this amazing beach house . I have three boys all under 10 and this is the perfect location . We walk across the street and the beach is right there . The house is super clean and has a amazing backyard for the boys to play in . We can’t wait for our stay next year . Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing beach house 😊

Second Visit

Loved it so much last year we stayed here again! Owner is communicative and keeps her home in fantastic shape. She got a new housekeeper this summer and even checked in with us to make sure the home was clean enough when we arrived. Convenient place to stay, short walk to the beach which is great with a toddler! Highly reccomend!

Fantastic Outer Banks beach location!

This quaint beach cottage provided the perfect getaway for our family of 5. It was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The host was friendly and accommodating and was able to let us in an hour early, which was much appreciated after traveling with a 6 yr old. The beach is a 1/2 block straight walk from the front of the house. You can see the sand from the front porch. The one day it rained, we gathered around the dining table inside the screened porch and played cards, which was lovely. This is the first time I've ever had to bring my own sheets to a vacation rental so that struck me as odd but apparently it's not uncommon and was not a huge problem since we knew in advance. You also need to shower and wash/dry/fold towels the night before checkout in order to be out by 10 AM but the extra planning is worth the stay in this home. There are not any toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, or Q-tips like a hotel so pack accordingly. The listing description is mostly accurate except that we could not find beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards or other water toys to use. We left our sand toys behind for the next guest(s) to enjoy so hopefully they remain for awhile. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Our entire family agrees that we want to stay at this cottage again in the future.

The Epps are high school sweethearts who have been married for over 20 years with two teenagers. Their love of the beach fueled their goal-oriented personalities, hence, FINALLY....Sandy Bottoms beach cottage.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

A beach cottage had been a dream of The Epps for years and finally when this low level bungalow became available, it seemed perfect especially with bad knees in the family! :) There were so many ironic things that pointed them towards Sandy Bottoms. It's quaintness and proximity to the beach made it clear that there would be lots of fun times at the beach to experience!

Location,location,location !!! Close walk to the beach,grocery store , Jolly Roger Restaurant and The Sea Ranch Resort . Also, the big back porch could accommodate rainy days in a hammock..
