Ocean One 119 - Détente océan 1er étage Condo

Condo Oceanfront peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes avec lit king dans la chambre principale, 2 lits doubles dans la chambre 2, et 2 lits jumeaux dans la chambre 3. L'unité est équipée d'un lit pliant. Chaque chambre a une salle de bain privée avec une combinaison baignoire / douche dans chacune. La plage est à quelques pas de votre Ocean One patio à ce complexe de bord de mer à South Forest Beach. Avec les terrasses du salon et de la chambre principale, les clients séjournant au Ocean One 119 bénéficient d'un accès facile à la plage ainsi qu'à la piscine en bord de mer. Après des heures passées dans les vagues, les vacanciers se rincent sous la douche extérieure située sur la promenade de la plage privée du complexe, puis plongent dans la piscine d'eau douce.
Ocean One a ajouté une zone de cuisson toute neuve au complexe situé juste au-delà de la piscine.
Parmi les services offerts tout au long de Hilton Head Island, Ocean One est un bloc de la Beach Market Coligny, un centre-ville pittoresque qui offre à ses clients une large sélection de restaurants, des magasins et des animations pour tous les âges. Family Weekend

Only complaint is no ventilation in bathrooms and some bedding was stained. Location and size were absolutely perfect for 3 adults and 4 kids/teens.

Perfect location.

Walk to restaurants and shops, and RBC shuttle. Condo is spacious with a great view of ocean. Pool was nice, and fire pits a huge plus. Could use some updates, but was clean and had every we needed. Loved having a washer and dryer. Will stay again.

Great location

The property is a little dated but you can see that from the pictures and was expected. The cleaning service leaves a lot to be desired as there were many areas that clearly were not touched in months.

Fantastic

This location and unit were amazing! The pictures did not do it justice. All of the rooms were large. There was more than enough space for us. I could tell the bathroom in the master had a new shower and floors put in we could not be happier with our stay. Thank you!!!

Nice condo on the beach

Overall great location! Nice pool and beautiful beach. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Would like to see a few more minor amenities, like extra sheets, pillow cases, beach towels and lawn chairs or umbrella available for the beach, needed to rent. They did have a small collection of beach toys/floaties, etc. Also had to buy laundry soap/dish soap. They give you a very small amount but not enough if you're using the beach and/or cooking there.

GET THE TRIP INSURANCE

Word to the wise, make sure you get trip insurance that covers weather. Ian closed the HHH airport for 2 days so all of our flights were canceled. HHI was under a hurricane warning and a surge warning. The property managers were unwilling to reschedule our trip for another time so we are just out all of the money.

Overall a good condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has prime location and amenities. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Some features were rather out of date, but that did not affect our overall satisfaction of the condo. We had several issues arise (sink wouldn’t drain, fridge wouldn’t close well) while we were there and the rental company was quick to send someone out to fix these things! I would recommend this property and our group plans to stay here again!

Unit 119 not so pleasant - Property great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location of this unit, but there really are some issues that need to be addressed. Please see list below.Overall cleanliness!!! Unit needs new carpeting and tile needs deep cleaning or should be replaced. Tile and grout are just nasty as is the carpet. Kitchen countertops with tile and grout are unsanitary and just ground in with dirt.Cabinets in both secondary bathrooms have drawer fronts missing or drawers unable to open. Faucet in one secondary bathroom cannot be adjusted at all and squirts out!Furniture in living room is also very stained and dirty and should be updated.TV in bedroom with twin beds did not work.Pocket door in bedroom with two queen beds very hard to open!That bathroom also missing floor moldings; feels & looks very dirty.In comparison to the other units rented in our group, this unit was far below standards! This unit is almost not habitable and should not be rented until reviewed and addressed. Should have asked for money back. We rented other units on this property that were great!

Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property itself was lovely; location great to access playground, restaurants, shopping, beach. The ground floor unit was great with kids for some easy outdoor play. Unfortunately, the unit itself really needs a deep cleaning, a week of aggressive cleaning and upgrading would benefit. I believe the primary bedroom has bed bugs, so that added a negative and extra attention on my part when I returned home. Thelarge pantry space across from the washer & dryer has some rubber coated shelving that is dripping in old dirt & grease, so not usable. I'm amazed that the black console table in LR with expensive electronics on it is even standing, it is extremely unstable with loose leg joints.The management company, Seashore Vacations were very easy to work with and responsive to my questions. The negative about the unit's condition I am addressing now, after staying there. I would not rent that unit again in its current condition.

Apt 119

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. The apartment was fine but could not close two of the bathroom doors. My son in law got locked in one because of a faulty door for almost three hours. The emergency number given us did not respond and we had to have the Sheriffs department come get the door down. We do expect the doors to be operational when you pay $6000 dollars for a week.

Wonderful location and spacious, but needs sprucing up.

Reviewer Comments: Realize this unit is right off the beach and pool, but the tile floors need replacing. Our bare feet were dirty the first day and we had to wear shoes the rest of the week. Furniture is also in need of a steam cleaning or replaced. Walls definitely need painted after this season. Washer (looked new) and dryer worked well, but dishwasher did not dry the dishes and we had to towel dry...something I did not want to do on vacation. Dishes were also a mishmash, but I guess we had everything we needed. Sliding door handle was loose, but we found a tool to tighten it temporarily. Drawer fronts in bathrooms kept falling off. We were disappointed the pool closed early and opened late and the fire pits were seasonal.

Sadly Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Beachfront, Ground floor unit with easy access from patio to pool and beach, spacious unit, complex grounds are beautifully landscaped, location on the island- very central.Cons: I have been staying in Ocean One for over 20 years and this is the first unit that has been a large disappointment in many ways. 3 out of 5 major appliances were not in working order. Dishwasher: Water does not heat up so dishes remain greasy after wash cycle. The advice the management company gave was to run the hot water in the kitchen sink prior to running dishwasher. My advice: install a properly working dishwasher, no one wants to do workarounds on their vacation. Washing Machine: Spin cycle is very, very noisy and thus does not spin and clothes in washer remain soaking wet after a wash cycle completes. We stayed for 2 weeks in this unit and after the first week the management company stopped contacting me back about replacing the washing machine. If you want to do laundry on this vacation, don't book this unit, you'll not have a working washer. Dryer: Take 3.5 hours or more to dry clothes- whether due to ineffective ventilation or that clothes are too wet after washing machine cycle- you'll spend a lot of time waiting for your beach towels to dry. Other cons: Bathroom cabinet faces are falling off the drawers; there is peeling paint on several walls; mattress are old and uncomfortable; kitchen is il-equipped with cheap/in-expensive kitchen items. As a note, the pool at the complex closes at sundown (around 8:30pm)- which is earlier than I ever remember it closing. We attempted both in email and in phone calls to have the management company address the problems including remuneration for rental fees and the management company stopped contacting us back. I'm unimpressed. Save yourself the headache by selecting a different option.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great but the unit was very tired and needed a lot of TLC. Many things were in bad shape or did not work. I understand that renting a unit on the Ocean with sand and suntan lotion can be a challenge but they made that decision to rent so they need to step up and update the unit. Been staying in Ocean One for over 30 years but feel like they may be pricing me out of the market. Have to give the unit one star.

Thanksgiving 2022 with family in unit 119!

Very nice place!

We liked the unit and it’s location on the HHI beach. Six of us girlfriends enjoyed breakfast and happy hour on the patio. It was great to just walk from patio to pool to beach. The beds were all comfortable and the 3 full bathrooms were clean. Very quiet and parking at end of October was plentiful.

Great Location, needs updating

Great location beside pool and beach access. Condo was fairly clean, but in major need of updates/deep cleaning. Drawer front in bathroom missing, drapery rods coming out of the walls, mold/mildew between shower curtains in bathrooms. Was fine if you “don’t look too close”.

Condo review ocean one 119

Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a great location close to shopping and facing the ocean. The condo itself could use some maintenance. It was not clean. There was dust over grease on the kitchen cabinets and microwave. The microwave is rusted inside. There is a ceramic tile floor everywhere except the bedrooms. The grout is black. It’s supposed to be white. The ceiling in one bedroom looked like it was falling down. The walls in the unit had many scuff marks. There was a very large clump of hair in the drain preventing the tub from draining in one bathroom. One drawer front in the same bathroom is inside the drawer. The shower head in this same bath is cracked. Another bathroom had a large hump on the bottom of the tub that made drainage slow. There was a brand new single rollaway bed that we needed to utilize. We had to assemble it to use it. Mattresses were very soft. Curtain rod in one bedroom is loose. The furniture is dirty. For the amount of money it costs to stay here I would not recommend it to a friend in its present condition.
