Scrabble House Compound - est une location de maison de vacances de land mark Taos - offrant un grand plan de salle à manger / cuisine ouverte. Cette salle dispose d'un comptoir en cuivre recouvert de cuivre et d'un bar servant le petit-déjeuner où les clients aiment se rassembler, rendre visite au cuisinier et concocter pour couper les légumes. Notre gracieux propriétaire a prévu de nombreux sièges moelleux dans le salon, notamment une table d'ordinateur et des chaises pour les passionnés d'informatique. La maison principale de 3 chambres à coucher est équipée d'une 4ème salle de bain complète pour les enfants et les adolescents dormant sur des lits superposés Hidde-a-Mat, laissant les 3 chambres principales King avec une intimité totale. Cela signifie 3 chambres avec "salles de bains dans la suite" qui ne doivent pas être partagés.

Situé sur 2 hectares, Scrabble House Compound offre un vaste paysage dégagé avec de la sauge du désert et des vues panoramiques sur la montagne, au nord, au sud, à l'est et à l'ouest. Situé sur Ski Valley Road avec un accès ininterrompu à Taos Ski Valley et à 6 km de la ville, ce "logement à Taos trouver" est un choix pr , manger, explorer, faire du vélo, pêcher, faire de la recherche ou faire du shopping),

Au printemps, en été et en automne, la "piscine sans fin" est pleinement utilisée par les passionnés de fitness et les clients curieux à la recherche d'une première expérience "piscine sans fin". Pour notre auditoire texan qui estime que l'hébergement d'été doit inclure la climatisation - Scrabble House est équipé d'un système de "refroidissement par évaporation" - spécialement conçu pour fonctionner dans des conditions de désert arides. En outre, il y a 3 ventilateurs de plafond et 4 grands ventilateurs portables pour assurer des conditions fraîches pendant nos "très rares" journées d'été chaudes.

Our group of 6 had lots of room to stretch out. The hot tub was used a lot after a long day of skiing. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect ski weekend vacation home!

We cannot say enough great things about our stay at the Scrabble House! We had two sets of families with young kiddos and our grandparents. The space was the perfect layout and had everything we needed and more! The drive into town and the ski resort was easy to navigate. The property host was also so helpful and helped us all weekend. We highly recommend the Scrabble House!

Enjoyable Family Time

Our family of 8 had an enjoyable time at the Scrabble House. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and a bathroom for each bedroom. The fenced yard worked out well with the dogs that were along. Nice location!

Perfect location for our family to stay while attending our grandson’s wedding.

There were seven of us in our party . My husband and I our daughter and granddaughter, son and his wife and my brother-in-law. Plenty of room for all of us and enough spaces to find some privy time. We had time to go to the Rio Grande Bridge , the Farmers Market and explore the town.

Great Memorial Day stay

My friends and I had a great time at Scrabble House over Memorial Day weekend. Comfortable rooms, plenty of room to stretch out, huge kitchen for cooking, and the outdoor space is amazing. Awesome views. The property manager was great to work with. This is a great vacation home for a large family or a few couples, as each bedroom in the main house has its own bathroom.

Property in Disrepair!

Upon arrival, the keypad on the front door did not work. There was trash and cigarette butts throughout the outside grounds of the property. There were a number of maintenance issues as follows Main House: Missing plastic shower curtain in guest bathroom Dead bugs throughout Spiderwebs throughout Broken sink & shower drain in front bathroom Broken towel rack in back bathroom No kitchen sponges to wash dishes Loose doorknob in 4th bathroom, unable to open/close the door Casita: No kitchen garbage can Broken window in the casita door,shattered glass shards Broken window crank in kitchen & bathroom window Leaking Fridge Dead bugs throughout Broken Lampshade in bedroom Loose doorknob to bathroom Broken light switch in main living space In addition to the above, the following items are advertised though did not work: TVs did not have cable access as advertised, Casita swamp cooler was barely able to provide some cool air in the main living space Main House swamp cooler can only cool kitchen/living space, not entire home While attempting to remediate during our stay, we learned that nearly the entire list of issues were KNOWN prior to our arrival. As shared, I had hoped to remediate with the homeowners and unfortunately, it took well over a week after check out to receive a two sentence response that “They (homeowners) also feel that Terra (house manager) has given a valid explanation for each of the items.”

Family reunion at the Scrabble House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This year marked at least seven times that my family rented the Scrabble for our annual family reunion. We had nine adults this year. Plenty of room in the main house for cooking, talking, and relaxing. Great WiFi. Was able to log into the TV with my streaming account to access entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped. In the main house, the evaporative cooler worked well on the hot days we had in July. The property was clean and well-maintained. Terra, the property manager, was wonderful to work with. She was communicative and checked in on us by text message on occasion to make sure we had everything we needed. I would rate the property with five stars across the board, however the casita could still use some work. It is difficult to cool it down to a comfortable sleeping temperature (daily highs were about 90 degrees) until about midnight. There is a portable evaporative cooler in the casita and the windows have been repaired to where they open effectively. But it would be great if this situation could be improved.

Disappointed

Property was in need of a serious pest control visit, spiders, termites, ants and a few scorpions were encountered daily. Main House- several maintainance issues including plumbing, fans, ice maker, baseboard heating units. Furniture was old and in some cases needed replacing. Guest House- several maintenance issues including plumbing and windows. In general both house needed a deep clean, floors, furniture and bedding.

Great place in Taos

Wonderful stay in Taos, the home had everything we needed and was extremely spacious for the 3 couples we had in our group. Great location in between town and the mountain! Communication was very easy with the property manager, and the space was very clean.

Accuracy of online listing 5+ Stars!!!

This was a beautiful property! The description online only begins to describe what you get. When you walk in the door, you realize you have gotten so much more! In the main house, all the rooms have their own bathrooms! The privacy in the Casita was awesome!!! There is a hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing sore bones after shopping in town all day and star gazing! The house offers so many other options including being able to log into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime which allowed us to share a really good movie with the grandparents! There were board games to play around the large dining table. My only regret is that this house is so comfy, a 5 night stay flew by. We LOVED the fireplace on a cold night. Thank you for sharing all the wood!!! We hope to be back next year!!!!!!!

The new ownership is working to make upgrades and keeping the home in great shape. The new caretaker was responsive to our needs. All in all an excellent stay. We will be back.
