Fair Winds est une maison spacieuse qui se trouve sur cinq lots côtiers qui offre une vue sur la vie privée et l'océan depuis le niveau principal et supérieur. C'est l'endroit idéal pour plusieurs couples ou familles à visiter car les trois zones de cette maison ont leur propre entrée séparée.

Vous pouvez profiter de la vue sur l'océan comme le bruit de la fontaine d'eau sur la place avant du Fair Winds
dérive à travers la fenêtre du salon pendant que vous vous allongez sur le canapé en lisant un livre,
ou en regardant à travers l'étendue des fenêtres devant le pont vers l'océan.

Cette magnifique maison est meublée dans un style urbain confortable qui reflète une décoration et un confort haut de gamme,

It was the perfect house for our group of friends

We loved staying in this house. There were 8 women and we had the best time. We laughed so much it was a good thing that neighbors were not too close. The house was clean, the furniture and the beds comfortable. It was exactly as described. No complaints at all.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Bill and Tina and this is not our first stay in this home. We LOVE the new deck and LOVE the home is dog friendly. Overall this is a perfect home for our whole family. However, this time we were very disappointed in how dirty the house was. One bed had dirty sheets :(

Decent house, had some cleanliness issues

Location was great, the house looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in awhile. A lot of dust, spider webs, and debris on the carpets. Bedding was decent. Towels looked dingy and stained. The living room floor seems like an inch hire than the rest of the house leaving an elevation change which my grandmother kind of tripped on so be careful there. Also the bbq was absolutely disgusting and full of grease and mold so i was forced to run out and buy my own since i had a bunch of meat to grill. I probably won't be going back to this residence. Paying a high cleaning fee when the house wasn't very clean to begin with was a huge disappointment.

This house was a disappointment

This house was such a disappointment. The house was filthy the dishes had dry food on the utensils, coffee cups, plates, and cookware. We had to pre wash everything in the kitchen before we could use it. The carpet had stains all over it and hadn’t been vacuumed. There was candy and food all over the carpet. The microwave door was broken so we couldn’t open it or use it . The coffee pot leaked, the toilet ran all night long in the back bedroom, the upstairs closet door fell on my daughter when she opened it. All the beds squeaked every time you move. They asked that you wash and dry the towels before leaving but the dryer didn’t work and when I tried to get ahold of someone to let them know, no one answered or returned the phone message or text message. We let the maintenance guy know and he was rude about it and said the owner already knows the dryer don’t work and it wasn’t his problem. I could go on and on about this house it was awful. I spent most of our first day there cleaning the house so we could have a clean place to stay .The location was good and the yard was nice. I wouldn’t recommend this house to anyone.

House in in a great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we enjoyed our time at this house it was not for a family that likes to cook. The kitchen was small and the refrigerator and freezer was very small for a house this size. We had to use 2 coolers with ice to be able to keep everything cool. We loved the yard and setting. The entry really needs a handrail or 2 as the stairs are very steep to get to the house. With all that said we enjoyed our stay of 11 nights at this house.

What can I say.....?

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 3days & 4 nights at this location. Getting on & off of the highway onto Seal Rock St. was difficult & dangerous. The 4 steps leading down to the front door lacked a hand rail. The BBQ was dirty, a fire alarm was beeping, the dishwasher wasn't working, the washer wasn't working, there was a leak under the kitchen sink, The linens needed to be replaced & an electrical inspection should be made because an outlet in one of the bedrooms was sparking when anything was plugged in. The front door couldn't be locked from the outside. The owner & manager need to address these issues to make this property safe & comfortable.

Comfortable home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house as an early spring 3 generation family gathering. It was roomy and comfortable on a blustery weekend. We couldn't get the electric fireplace turned on, but individual room thermostats kept us comfortable. Clothes washer was slow, but all appliances worked. Location is great! Ocean views from upstairs, kitchen and deck. Easy drive to lots of beach access and Newport.

The house hade a lot of room for the 4 of us and we appreciated how quiet it was, could hear the ocean at night. The management team was great and we will be using Ocean Odyssey again on our next trip to Newport!

Nice location but poor communication

This house is great for a large family but had some big drawbacks. It had a great kitchen and sleeps people in real bedrooms - no hideabeds or futons in common space advertised as beds. But it was difficult to communicate with property manager. We didn’t get the access code for the property until after we were on our way to the property. They advertise the house has WiFi but it didn’t really work. One of our devices connected but basically no bandwidth. The property manager didn’t respond to any of our requests on the provided text line, but the evening AFTER we arrived the property owner called to see if we had gotten in??? Then he proceeded to talk on and on about his challenges installing the keypad - it had nothing to do with us and he just wouldn’t stop talking! As we were leaving we discovered the clothes dryer didn’t work, so we couldn’t complete the task of washing and drying the towels as requested by the owner. Overall it’s a nice house on a quiet street. Probably would not stay again though.

Great Location - comfortable stay.

The location is wonderful just up the hill from Seal Rock State Park. The house was comfortable and served our needs. Only issue was WiFi service is a bit sketchy, but the property manager faces us fair warning! Great family house! Loved our stay!

However it is not well maintained or stocked. We have stayed here twice now and both times the upstairs landing smoke detector has been beeping. Drives me crazy and needs to be fixed. Beeps in middle of night.

Reviewer Comments: Overall was a good experience,started out the cleaners were 3 hours late getting done,partly due to the partiers before us breaking things.some of the outlets in the dining - livingroom area didn't work, missing shingles over the master from storms. Spider eggs behind armoire in master. Older house with a good location and nice large lot, view of the ocean, but a good value for the money, would rent it again.

House was easy to find, easy parking and was close to local areas. House could of been a bit cleaner but not unsatisfied. Deck needs some repair.

There was no clean towels, washer/dryer did not work, large hole in deck and very dirty overall. We love staying with Ocean Odyssey and have never had problems before. This house was a great disappointment, we will not stay at this house again but will continue to book with Ocean Odyssey in the future.
