Situé à seulement 10 minutes marche du centre historique, l'appartement, quì vient d'étre restructuré complètement en 2010, est l'idéal pour séjourner dans la ville de Florence. Lumineux, accueillant, au 1erè étage d'un immeuble du XVI siecle. Il y a une cusine, une salle de bain avec la douche, un salon avec un table, un divan-lit et une tres vaste sospente avec un grand lit, un petit table et un hamac pour une pleasante “siesta”. Il est possibile d’avoir un petit lit pour en enfant. L’appartement est trés silencieux, dans le quartier de Sant’Ambrogio, dans le centre mais loin de la foule et voisin a tous le lieux d’intéres historique. Il Y a restaurants typiques et magazins de tout genre, supermarchès, le typique marchè local de Sant’Ambrogio, Mercato delle Pulci, thèatres, une bibliotheque ouverte la nuit….soit…le coeur de Florence

Charming apartment in a great location with a welcoming host.

The property was clean and well appointed. Although we didn’t really use the kitchen, it was spotless and had everything you would need. The bathroom was a good size and the washing machine was easy to use. The spiral stairs to the loft were not a problem for us, but were steep so just take that into consideration.

Excellent base for exploring Firenze.

Our hostess, Francesca, was extremely gracious and helpful. She checked us in very efficiently and provided great tips for our Firenze visit. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed, and is very convenient to a great many of the popular attractions, as well as a number of excellent local dining options. As depicted in the advert photo, the bedroom is a loft and not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

What a cool apartment! Clean and spacious. Tastefully decorated. Very cozy. Spiral staircase takes you from the living room to the loft, where a bed and hammock are located. Francesca was a fantastic host. She lives across the hall in case there are any issues. Safe and quiet location. Just a five minute walk to the Duomo. Highly recommend!

Fabulous apartment

We loved it here! The location was amazing, the property clean and more spacious than expected. The steps to the second floor loft area aren’t as treacherous looking as they are in the pictures and the loft itself was bigger than expected (full height and plenty of room for a seating area and everything). My husband was psyched to listen to some of the records, and the selection was very cool and included some nice Italian music. The host has excellent taste! FYI: A few minutes away is the BEST record store in the city also (Rock Bottom Records).

Centrally located apartment

This apartment is in a relatively quiet and safe area about 5 min walk to the Duomo. The host, Francesca, was very helpful in providing us with tips on where to eat, buy groceries, and places to see. She was also prompt when responding to emails or text. We spent 3 days in this nice apartment. The only thing that disappointed us was the Air conditioner. The unit stopped blowing cold air on the 2nd day of our stay so evenings were hot since we stayed in August. I almost wanted to take off a star for this but since it did work the 1st day, i figured it really was not the owner's fault. I would still recommend this place and would stay here again if I ever go back to Florence but I would ask the host in advance to check if the ac works especially in the summer.

This property was lovely! Great location, fully equipped, very clean, a beautiful loft area for sleeping! Francesca greeted us at the apartment, was very helpful, great tips on restaurants and the area. She booked a cab for us on our last day and came to meet us to make sure it arrived. One of our best experiences with VRBO. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence and highly reccomend this property!

This apartment was amazing, clean and so centrally located with a five minute walk to the center of the city of Florence. Quiet, safe and cozy. Francesca was accommodating and super friendly a perfect host. Go to Florence and stay in this apartment it’s perfect for your Firenze stay. Easy process all the way around. Location was perfect. Apartment was very nice and clean as well-just be aware the bed it up the stairs and the bathroom is downstair. Navigating this at night was a challenge.

Great loft in the middle of it all

Francesca’s place was the perfect home-base for our time in Florence. Centrally locates, it was perfect. The washer/dryer combo was a real plus.

Fun 2 weeks in Florence

Very clean little apartment with adequate storage and appliances. Centrally located and close to good restaurants. Our favorite was Ristorante San Ambrogio, only 3-4 blocks from the apartment. Excellent food, good wine list and Leo was an amazing server. I caught a cold while there and the pharmacist (one block away) was very kind and helpful. Everyone in the neighborhood is friendly. Folks have said the AC is loud, but that must only be for the neighbors living outside of the apartment w/o AC, because it wasn't loud for my husband and I as tenants. Francesca was there when we arrived to let us in and helpful with getting cabs ordered for the airport. She also helped me when the drain was stopped up in the shower. Overall, a nice stay in lovely Florence.

Wonderful flat in the heart of florence

From the moment we arrived at francesca’s lovely apartment we felt at home. Francesca was warm and welcoming and we liked her immediately. She lives across the hall in another apartment so is available should you have any questions or problems and she responds immediately thru texting. We needed her help one day to call a taxi for us. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and spacious. I loved the hammock in the loft/sleeping area, and it became my reading spot each day after hours of exploring the city. The location is great. You can walk everywhere from the apartment. I highly recommend staying here when you are in Florence.

Great place to call home for 3 days.

Francesca is an amazing host. She answered my numerous emails before we got to Florence and we communicated with Whatsapp as well. She made us dinner reservations at a local restaurant and called taxis for us numerous times. The apartment is much more spacious than the photos make it seem. The loft area is very nice. We used the washing machine and the drying rack came in very handy. The shower was a nice size compared to many of the showers we experienced in Italy. Francesca has the bathroom nicely stocked with toiletries as well. There were three of us and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Just Amazing, Great Experience!!!

This place was fantastic for my family of 4. Our youngest daughter loved the hammock, the beds were comfortable and land clean. The entire place was spotless. Having AC was a plus as the afternoons did get warm as we walked around, it was nice to relax and cool down. The location was perfect as we walked to all the sites. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you Francesca and we enjoyed meeting your mother as well.

Great Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Fabulous location and everything we needed. Clean, quiet and spacious. Lots of great restaurants nearby. If you have mobility issues the stairs to the bedroom are quite steep.

Great location. Fabulous bed and shower Location is perfect for walking anywhere in Florence.

Francesca and her mom were so gracious and Professional. The apartment is inviting and well designed. The staircase to the bedroom is hard to manage at night and I prefer a one level unit. All in all it was great.
