Cette spacieuse maison de style artisanal dispose d'un bain à remous sur un porche à l'ancienne. Grill au gaz, télévision par câble, WiFi, animaux de compagnie acceptés. Peut accueillir 14 personnes confortablement avec 1 lit king, 3 reines et 3 ensembles de couchettes, parfait pour les camps de ski, les réunions de famille et les retraites d'entreprise. Près de la rivière ZigZag, des sentiers de randonnée et le village de Rhododendron qui dispose d'un magasin, bureau de poste, deux cafés et restaurants. Charming cabin in the beautiful old growth of Mt Hood. There is some traffic noise and the fireplace is pretty smokey but I can't complain. It was a great place to stay.

Our group of 10 had a great time. Plenty of large spaces, outside and in, plus tons of outdoor activities nearby. Fun stay close to the mountain. Will definitely rent this place again.

The host kept us informed prior to check-in though they did not respond to 2 questions sent via their email probably due to the holiday as we did not use the emergency number they provided. The cabin met the sleeping arrangements for 9 people which was nice. It rained over 60% our stay and turned cold which kept us inside. The cabin had some ‘old Tahoe’ style furnishings and fixtures- nice! The interior door knobs were vintage and definitely needed a handyman to set them - as they fell apart frequently. It was unfortunate to not be able to utilize the covered back porch and hot tub due to the cold. There was a large gas grill on that porch which we did not use - but something to note for our next stay. The kitchen had all the utensils and small appliances one would need as noted from the listing. Would definitely return for a summer stay!!

Our stay was nice. Layout of the house is great (primarily bedrooms upstairs but one downstairs). Kitchen is for tall people. Lots of equipment, but supplies like hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper not enough for a week. When I mentioned this privately to the management, she said I should’ve called and they would have brought more over.

We really enjoyed staying here. Lots of sleeping room, private, hot tub. There is some road noise bc it’s close to a road but that didn’t bother us.

The cabin was in a beautiful location close to Government Camp, Ski Bowl and Timberline. The cabin was warm and fireplace was a very nice amenity. The cabin was well supplied with all amenities. Great time had by all!

Wonderful Property! Pictures don’t do it justice!

Our stay was amazing! We had a handful of friends celebrating my partner’s birthday and this home was perfect. Plenty of beds for people to sleep, a large living room for games and conversation. A beautiful backyard with easy access to hiking and the town. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an stress-free getaway!

Our family annual Christmas in February!

Each year our kids, their spouses and our 7 grandkids go to Mt. Hood so they can Snowboard and ski . Although we do get together at Christmas time - this trip is the bulk of the gifts we give to them . This year we chose to stay here - and everyone said this was the best place yet ! Good location(though I felt a little close to hey 26 - BUT that can be a plus cause then you don’t have far to drive on snowy back roads . Nice hot tub in a forested setting . We had a great time

Great Family Cabin

A great place to get away and relax with the family. The dining room comfortably sat all eight of us for meals. There was a good variety of kitchen ware and small appliances available for use. More food storage in the kitchen would be appreciated for those of us who really like to cook big family meals. Overall a very comfortable layout.

Place was perfect for our get together. Close to the stores if you need more of something or forget it. Awesome trails all around you. We had a problem with the carbon monoxide alarm going off due to low battery and the office staff was attentive and quick to address the issue.

Lovely place to celebrate Christmas

My family rented this comfortable home for six nights to celebrate a family Christmas. We did numerous hikes and went cross country skiing one day. The cabin is very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. A great place to play board games and enjoy a crackling fire. The only concern is the steep staircase with a one year old. There is a good market walking distance away. We had a magical time. Thank you.

Hard Pass on this property

The first night we stayed saw live mice in the kitchen with lots of evidence of mouse poop everywhere. The next morning caught two mice. Called the property manager at 8 am and they didn’t fix anything until 1 in the afternoon. Was extremely dismissive about the whole thing until the maintenance guy took the caught mice to her physically. Then they transferred us to another place that was great but it was hectic and gross. Also had structure issues with soft wobbly steps that were hard for people with movement problems. Only way up and down stairs was a very narrow and steep staircase. Doors don’t latch or stay shut. Don’t stay here select another property

Reviewer Comments: Rockin Rhody Retreat cabin is an excellent choice for a large family: plenty of bedrooms, large dining & kitchen, spacious living area with lovely fireplace, laundry, and a wonderful hot tub! The cabin is located close to all that Mt. Hood outdoor recreation has to offer, plus access to an elaborate network of trails right from the cabin. It is also pet friendly which is important to our family. The only downsides to the cabin were the proximity to the very busy highway, worn out living room furniture and mattresses (uncomfortable), and a few times we had to unclog toilets. The weather was super rainy during our stay so we did not spend time out on the deck or yard area which made the proximity to the highway acceptable. Non of these were deal breakers for us. We enjoyed our week long stay!
