Cette spacieuse maison de style artisanal dispose d'un bain Ă  remous sur un porche Ă  l'ancienne. Grill au gaz, tĂ©lĂ©vision par cĂąble, WiFi, animaux de compagnie acceptĂ©s. Peut accueillir 14 personnes confortablement avec 1 lit king, 3 reines et 3 ensembles de couchettes, parfait pour les camps de ski, les rĂ©unions de famille et les retraites d'entreprise. PrĂšs de la riviĂšre ZigZag, des sentiers de randonnĂ©e et le village de Rhododendron qui dispose d'un magasin, bureau de poste, deux cafĂ©s et restaurants. The property was perfect for our purpose. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the hot tub but definitely enjoyed the home. Very well located for access to everything in the Mt Hood and Columbia River. Thank you so much!

Our group of 10 had a great time. Plenty of large spaces, outside and in, plus tons of outdoor activities nearby. Fun stay close to the mountain. Will definitely rent this place again.

Our stay was nice. Layout of the house is great (primarily bedrooms upstairs but one downstairs). Kitchen is for tall people. Lots of equipment, but supplies like hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper not enough for a week. When I mentioned this privately to the management, she said I should’ve called and they would have brought more over.

It was a lovely place to stay and the location was absolutely beautiful. The host did not respond when we asked them questions during the duration of the stay, but they were communicative before hand. Overall a nice visit

Great house for a large group!

We really enjoyed staying here. Lots of sleeping room, private, hot tub. There is some road noise bc it’s close to a road but that didn’t bother us.

Our family annual Christmas in February!

Each year our kids, their spouses and our 7 grandkids go to Mt. Hood so they can Snowboard and ski . Although we do get together at Christmas time - this trip is the bulk of the gifts we give to them . This year we chose to stay here - and everyone said this was the best place yet ! Good location(though I felt a little close to hey 26 - BUT that can be a plus cause then you don’t have far to drive on snowy back roads . Nice hot tub in a forested setting . We had a great time

Rockin Rhody Richter Get-Away

The cabin was in a beautiful location close to Government Camp, Ski Bowl and Timberline. The cabin was warm and fireplace was a very nice amenity. The cabin was well supplied with all amenities. Great time had by all!

Wonderful Property! Pictures don’t do it justice!

Our stay was amazing! We had a handful of friends celebrating my partner’s birthday and this home was perfect. Plenty of beds for people to sleep, a large living room for games and conversation. A beautiful backyard with easy access to hiking and the town. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an stress-free getaway!

Sibling Reunion

Place was perfect for our get together. Close to the stores if you need more of something or forget it. Awesome trails all around you. We had a problem with the carbon monoxide alarm going off due to low battery and the office staff was attentive and quick to address the issue.

Great Family Cabin

A great place to get away and relax with the family. The dining room comfortably sat all eight of us for meals. There was a good variety of kitchen ware and small appliances available for use. More food storage in the kitchen would be appreciated for those of us who really like to cook big family meals. Overall a very comfortable layout.

Great large family cabin

Reviewer Comments: Rockin Rhody Retreat cabin is an excellent choice for a large family: plenty of bedrooms, large dining & kitchen, spacious living area with lovely fireplace, laundry, and a wonderful hot tub! The cabin is located close to all that Mt. Hood outdoor recreation has to offer, plus access to an elaborate network of trails right from the cabin. It is also pet friendly which is important to our family. The only downsides to the cabin were the proximity to the very busy highway, worn out living room furniture and mattresses (uncomfortable), and a few times we had to unclog toilets. The weather was super rainy during our stay so we did not spend time out on the deck or yard area which made the proximity to the highway acceptable. Non of these were deal breakers for us. We enjoyed our week long stay!

Lovely place to celebrate Christmas

My family rented this comfortable home for six nights to celebrate a family Christmas. We did numerous hikes and went cross country skiing one day. The cabin is very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. A great place to play board games and enjoy a crackling fire. The only concern is the steep staircase with a one year old. There is a good market walking distance away. We had a magical time. Thank you.

It looks like you're in the wilds of Oregon but sounds like a freeway rest stop. Beds are comfy. House is clean and well equipped. Lots of beds for a large party. Tried to get a late checkout on Sunday but no one answered the phone and the office was closed.

Cabin weekend with friends

Classic large cabin in Rhododendron with plenty of space. Forest around is gorgeous and right next to a walking trail that connects to many others up and down the mountain, but also right next to the highway. My 2 favorite restaurants are nearby Al Forno and Skyway. Mt hood express bus stops very close too and is only $2! Fireplace was so beautiful but barely warmed the room. Came with enough wood for several hours of a fire. Got more at the grocery right down the street. Place stayed warm enough with the electric wall heaters but they kicked on a lot. Might need a home insulation inspection and upgrade. Hot tub was perfect temp and very clean!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfortable, clean, and great amenities! I am happy with the size of the house and fit our group of 8 adults and 3 children very well. I am pleased with how clean it was. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and soaps and had really a nice washer and dryer. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the hot tub was delightful! You sometimes never know what you are going to get with certain reviews, but I am someone who can’t even sleep if I don’t feel like the place is safe or clean and I slept great! The hot tub worked well and was clean. We enjoyed this place very much and although the last 9 years we typically find a different place to stay, we talked about renting this place again since it accommodates my families size so well. Also, the property management company had great customer service! I had to call a few times with questions when our plans changed with pet sitters cancelling and a few other things and they were very helpful and accommodating.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures are nicer then the actual property. The hot tub is off to the side of the house with nothing protecting you from the dirt and sticks around it and nothing above to help protect you from the rain. Be careful with that because you will get charged for “not clear water” so I would recommend not going in the hot tub, especially if you have children with you. There was cigarette butts and beer cans that were left there from the people before us and we got charged for that. Extra charges for 2 extra garbage bags when we had stayed in this home for a week with 7 children all under the age 12. The furniture was terrible. There is no channels except 1. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Especially if you have a big family with small children. There are lot of extra charges within the contract.
