A relaxing wonderful stay. It was everything we had hoped for. would definitely recommend
The relaxing quite area was perfect. No stress and the cabin was very comfortable. We really appreciate the ability to feel like we were at home without any stressors of being in a crowded public venue. Thanks for a great stay.
So glad you enjoyed it. We are very proud of our cabin. Sure wish we could have met you. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation--Grand Canyon, Bryce Ntl Park, Zion Ntl Park, mountains in Colorado, etc. Hope you can come back some time!
Quick weekend retreat did not disappoint! The cabin is surrounded by woods and lots of peace and quiet. The Snow's even dropped by to check on us. I highly recommend this place!
We enjoyed meeting you all. We are so glad you enjoyed the cabin. Wish you could have stayed longer. Please come back if you're down this way again and hoping your grandmother gets better. I mailed the iPhone charger back to you this morning.
We enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It was very peaceful and cozy. We got in alot of fishing, so the location next to the park was fantastic so that we could launch our boat quickly. If we return back to the area, we will definitely try and re-book the cabin.
Thanks.
My boyfriend and I needed a weekend getaway and this cabin ended up being a perfect fit. We got to the cabin pretty late from Memphis, but it was easy to navigate and once we were there it was a great place to unwind and relax. It was a good spot to be able to get to Mount Magazine and Mount Nebo. On our way we hit Petit Jean as well.
Oh my gosh! If you went to Mt Magazine AND Mt Nebo AND Petit Jean, you were quite busy. We are so glad you got to relax and enjoy our cabin. We are actually enjoying it this weekend! I've been laying in the hammock listening to the birds! We went fishing this morning and plan to have crappie for supper! Hope you can come back again!

The Snowâs have thought of every detail. The cabin was nicely stocked and VERY clean. It was perfect for our family of 3 who were there to hike and fish during fall break. The unique outside picnic table and fire pit area were utilized for most meals. We enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee on the porch.
If we are ever in the area again, I would love to stay at the Snowâs Cabin. What a wonderful experience! Thank you!
Thank you for the wonderful review. The unique outside picnic table was made by Bobby. We used to own a rock quarry, so he brought this HUGE rock down to the cabin and made the table to fit the rock. That's where all the large rocks came from that are around the cabin, on the floor of the cabin, and the homemade rock benches on the inside and outside of the cabin. We are so glad you enjoyed staying at our cabin. You did a marvelous job cleaning it. We were amazed when we walked in. It looked as if it had just been cleaned! We hope you can come back sometime!
Thank you Ruth and Bobby for the opportunity to spend a wonderful weekend at your sweet little cabin! I just love the place you all have built, and we had so much fun looking at all the cute things you used to decorate! Highlight of the trip was a visit from Ruth who very kindly came to help us get the television going (we were in TV withdrawal). She ended up staying for over an hour laughing and visiting with us. That was great! It was a wonderful place to stay, clean and quiet and very comfortable. Thank you again!!!
So glad you enjoyed your stay at our cabin! I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with you ladies. I didn't intend to stay that long, but I was having such a good time that I hated to leave! I hope you come back to our cabin on your next "girl's weekend""!
We rented the cabin for one 3 days but only stay 1 day due to false advertisement landlord posted on the site they had internet but when we got there there was none! we needed communication because we had a relative with covid-19 In the hospital, we decided to get a refund for the two remaining days, we try to contact landlord to ask when the refund will be post it in our bank account and no answer from them, bad customer service.
If you take kids there make sure you check them for ticks.
Iâm so sorry for the "Internet" error. I honestly did not realize it was marked. I corrected the website immediately I also immediately requested a refund for two days. I texted updates to you FOUR TIMES regarding the status of the refund, but I used a wrong number. I didn't realize I had the number wrong until I read your review, and I checked to see why you said you didn't receive any. I should have sent the updates through the VRBO website but it was easier texting. Again, I apologize.
I hope you and family did enjoy our cabin the one day that you got to stay. I pray that your brother that is in the hospital is doing better.
Cozy cedar cabin will transform you to a world of peace, tranquility, love. Itâs the perfect reset button. We only stayed for the weekend but we would have loved to stay there longer. This rustic cabin is the perfect size. You feel the owners love as soon as you walk in as the cedar smell hits you and the rustic appeal really takes you to your deepest happy place! We loved our stay and will definitely look for an opportunity to return!! If you are looking for a place to stay where all you have to do is show up.. this place is it. They have the cabin stocked with everything you need. This cabin is anything you need it to be!! Romantic, cozy, family friendly, or just a solo place to connect to a book, nature etc. The Snows tell the story of the cabin in pictures and a diary and you honestly feel part of the journey by your booking. We read the journal entries of past guest and we gladly left our hearts thoughts for the next guest. We were able to visit Mount Magazine. We fished at the boat doc. We watched 7 deer cross the property one evening. This place is as described and you feel the love of the owners and the love that this cabin was built and intended for. 5 stars across the board.
Wow! What a wonderful review! Thank you so much! We have put a lot of love into our cabin. You have described it perfectly! It makes us feel so good when we read a review like that! I wish that we could have met you since we're only 7 miles from the cabin, but our weekend was very hectic! We really hope you can come again!
This log cabin is the real deal! Immediately walking in you can smell the delicious cedar in the air. The flagstone flooring is beautiful and was also easy to clean (I have little ones) after meal times. I was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen fully stocked with everything you would hope to have for cooking/barbecue/meal times/marshmallow roasts. We celebrated our 4th of July here and watched fire works with everyone at the lake (less than a minute drive) and I think my son summed up our experience best when he said, âThis is the best 4th of July ever!â The people in this town couldnât be nicer or more genuine. The owners, Ruth and Bobby, are incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful with ideas for exploring the surrounding areas. If you are looking for peace and quiet- this little beauty is exactly what you need. At night I would sit outside listening to the woods and deer would walk right past the cabin. The fireflies were also a hit with my son. Of course it is the woods in the summer time so beware of the ticks. (We used deep woods + tick bug spray and shockingly never even had a single one.) It was so nice to be away from urban noise and light pollution! Thank you again Ruth and Bobby for sharing your happy place with us!
Cabin was very homey. Hand built by the owner. Solid cedar. I appreciated the effort put into the building and everything was very well labeled so it was easy to find. Very out of the way and quiet. Amazing weekend
Just as advertised! Quiet and restful. Perfect for a weekend disconnect and a chance to get rid of the phones. Hosts were phenomenal and went out of their way to ensure it was a special stay. Highly recommend!
Bobby Snow (owner) built the cabin in 2004. He did the majority of the work himself. He even cut the trees for the cabin! He was in the logging business and rock business and has recently retired. Ruth Snow (wife) couldn't help much in the building process, but she sure had fun decorating it! She worked at POM Incorporated in Russellville for 35 years as their Controller. She retired in 2007 and has learned to live life to the fullest! We have two married daughters and seven beautiful grandchildren ranging in ages 6-22. We also have TWO great-granddaughter who are 1 and 4! We have been blessed with such a wonderful family, and we have had many good times at the cabin. Needless to say, the grandkids love it, and we have made lots of good memories with them.
When you enter the cabin, you smell a cedar aroma that is absolutely wonderful. Every time we open the door, it still smells as good as it did when the cabin was built in 2004. It is so peaceful staying here. I love to lay out on the hammocks and listen to the birds or read a book. I've taken many naps out on my hammock (while Bobby prefers to nap inside the cabin). Bobby enjoys taking his boat out fishing and I like to walk over to Dubin Park and walk around the park, then walk back to the cabin. It's a good little work-out!
Our cabin is truly an AUTHENTIC log cabin! . Bobby cut all the trees himself and had them squared and sawed into 20 ft lengths. He put glue between each log and screwed them together with 8 inch leg screws. The square upper window in the living room is made of 1/4" lexan which will never break. He had another guy help him with the handling of the logs when he built the cabin. He installed all the windows and the kitchen cabinets. We purchased the spiral staircase and had it installed. The best thing about our cabin is the CEDAR SMELL. I can't even describe how good it smells when you walk in.
