Maison moderne et récente en bois rond avec une grande chambre des maîtres dans le loft et deux chambres supplémentaires au sous-sol de débrayage. Comprend une grande grande salle et une cuisine moderne avec juste le bon mélange de rondins et de cloisons sèches. Toutes les commodités de la maison, y compris une laveuse / sécheuse, un lave-vaisselle, 3 télévisions à écran plat, un poêle à bois, un chauffage au sol radiant, un bain à remous, une baignoire romaine à jets et une grande terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur le mont. Lincoln et Mosquito Range. Nous sommes situés dans une partie isolée de Breckenridge, loin de toute congestion et à seulement 25 minutes pittoresques de la station de ski et à seulement quelques minutes de certains des meilleurs sentiers de randonnée du Colorado.

Wonderful stay

A lovely location (at altitude) close the Breck. Very accommodating, apportioned, and comfortable, with great views of the peaks east of Breck. It would be a great place to stay during the summer too!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway!

My wife and I had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin. The sun on the deck in the morning was fantastic, the cabin was well stocked, and was very clean.

The Cabin was the quintessential Cabin in the woods for a Christmas Holiday with Family.

The Cabin was most comfortable for our family of five with all the comforts of home being provided and there was even a Christmas Tree for us to decorate. The views to the High Alpine peaks of the Rockies were fabulous. The Cabin is only 7 miles from Breckenridge and even though it snowed heavily while we were there it was an easy car ride to Town. We will definitely stay here again on our next vacation to beautiful Breckenridge Colorado.

Beautiful Cabin!

We loved staying in the Quandary Cabin. It had more space than we imagined. We loved the movies and puzzles and games. The scenery was just beautiful! It was only 20 minutes from town. Other than everyone having altitude sickness 🤪, we had a fabulous week!

Cozy and quaint

Booked this for my parents for their 40th anniversary. Location is great as it’s outside of the bustling tourism of Breck and minutes from several trailheads including Quandary Peak! Owners communicated clearly and timely. We would book again. Thank you!

Mountain Log Home with Stunning Views

This beautiful home was perfect!! Close to Breckenridge for skiing, shopping and great restaurants or stay in and enjoy the cozy wood fired stove and hot tub. The back deck offers snow capped mountain views. The home is well equipped with everything you could need. The lower level offers a separate living area, 2 bedrooms and a full bath - nice if you need some quiet privacy. Mark the host, was very good at providing all pertinent information about the house and the area, and was very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Cabin getaway

Fantastic and cozy cabin tucked in the mountains, but close enough we drove to Breckenridge daily, Leadville and Frisco. Busy days and relaxing nights with home-cooked food and the hot tub. Be prepared to unplug your internet and phones to spend time with family. We would happily visit again. Many thanks.

Whole family loved!

Great amenities and great proximity to Breckinridge. My boys loved the movies, heated floors, hot tub and I loved the washer and dryer! Cooked in the kitchen every night - and enjoyed the hiking trails less than 3mi from cabin. Cabin is up the mountain - and away from the crowds. Owners super helpful and responsive. Plenty of space for the whole family to relax - we loved it (once we acclimated to the 11,200ft :))

Great Property

This place was great. The owner was great and responsive. Very helpful. The place is very clean and well-kept. We saw a lot of animals from the deck. My only complaint is I wish the yard was more usable for my little kids to walk around, etc. However, that had nothing to do with the house itself. It was a close drive to breck and much quieter! Very much recommend!

Great anniversary trip

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely mountain retreat. It was very relaxing. Lovely neighborhood and wild life was great. Deer and moose visit was cool. We relaxed in the comfortable house, cooked in a few nights, and hiked on the nearby trails including Hoosier Pass. Very accessible to Breckinridge and yet felt like a mountain retreat. Will recommend to others who wish to just get away from it all and disconnect in the forest. Note: the house call Altitude Doc was a great convenience as I suffered a bit from being 11k up in the mountains. Thanks to owners who supplied that in the check in paperwork.

Great stay!

Cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The house and scenery is beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen. This place is awesome for a family of 4. Close to ski resorts. We drove keystone in about 40 minutes and Breck in about 20. Property owners very nice and helpful. The only real issue we had were the beds. All 4 of us got little sleep because the beds are very, very uncomfortable. Overall I do recommend. Hot tub huge bonus. There is a friendly fox that likes to hang around the property.

Wonderful house for a beautiful area

This house is just perfect. The views are spectacular, the interior was even better than the pictures. So comfortable and the owner was very helpful and responsive. Felt like a home away from home! Even the street /neighborhood that it is situated on is beautiful for walking. Lovely deck with hot tub too. Short drive to Breckenridge to enjoy the magnificent town and the skiing etc. we also highly recommend dog sledding, ice fishing and snowmobiling. We have been on many great vacations but this one was right near the top! Thank you again Mark !

Wonderful cozy place

Fully stocked, nicely decorated and comfortable house that was perfect for our family getaway near Breckenridge. The owner was extremely responsive by text and phone for the smallest question. The description of the layout and amenities was full and accurate. The house ihas a great location, just far enough from the road to be quiet, just close enough to Breckenridge and Fairplay to be convenient. It was the perfect base for daily hiking and fishing trips. In the morning we enjoyed coffee on the porch or on the comfy couches, in the evenings we grilled and played games in the spacious living room. Thank you for sharing your home!. It was a great getaway for our family vacation. we will definitely try to return if we can!

AMAZING!!!!

This home truly feels like a home and is even more beautiful in person! We are a family of 6 with 4 kids ranging in age from 8 to 16 and everyone enjoyed the home. The hot tub was a welcome feature after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee. The views are spectacular from this clean and newer mountain home. The moose family meandered through the property, along with fox and mule deer. The home is also perfectly located in the mountains. The pass is only a mile up the road and a trail head to one of the 14ers is only 1/2 mile away. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Perfect cabin in the mountains

Great property! Things we enjoyed: -Excellent accommodations and very comfortable -Has everything you need including an amazing movie collection to wind down after a big day in the mountains. -It had very wide and easy stairs as we had small children -Proximity to Quandry peak and several other amazing hikes (5 min drive) -Only 15 min into town, so easy drive but away from all the craziness of town -Got to see several moose!! (Kids were enamored) -Great communication and accommodations from the host (I changed arrival times several times and was high maintenance). He was very understanding and responded quickly. -This house is high alpine, so stay hydrated and know that you will move a little slower. But the air is fresh and the views are incredible

Beautiful

This was by far the cleanest VRBO property I’ve stayed at in the last 15 years. There’s plenty of room in the house for a full group and the views and locations were amazing. I wouldn’t rent the property again because of the security cameras and rules taped on notes around the house. I understand protecting your property but the location and amount of security cameras was very uncomfortable, like you’re being watched at all times. There were so many rules and notes taped around the entire house that it felt unwelcoming and we were scared to mess something up. Overall beautiful property, great location, we saw moose and deer just off the back porch but never felt comfortable due to the security cameras and rules.

An upscale mountainous cabin. A good retreat!

The cabin is very nice. It is in a beautiful location! If your hope is to get to do a lot in Breckenridge, it is fairly difficult to find parking in the town. Also, if the weather is bad you won’t be able to travel there easily. The cabin can make a lot of eerie noises at night since it is log. This made it somewhat difficult for me to sleep. The master bed is pretty uncomfortable. The master bathroom has no vents in it (aka no heat). This made showers/baths somewhat cold. There isn’t a lot of pots/pans. They have the biggest size of each available. This makes cooking for one or two people cumbersome. It is a beautiful cabin. The scenery is absolutely amazing. The amenities are certainly top notch for a log cabin.

Anniversary trip

This was by far, our favorite vacay cabin. It was in the perfect spot; far from tourists but close to Breck and convenience. We saw 9 moose in the area (right past the main exit from the neighborhood) and that was my ultimate dream for the vacay. The cabin was roomy, had what we needed, but it’s the location and the area that made it the best. Side note-bears are ACTIVE here. The first night, we heard them outside our cabin-scary scary. The last night, a bear took the garage and dragged it behind the shed trying to open it. There were claw marks all on the lid. Thank goodness it was bear proofed/locked! We had not even thrown our trash in it yet-I guess the owners did not throw the trash out from the previous guests yet, so there was some in there, but the garage can did not open for the bear. Just wanted to warn future travelers to make sure to not leave anything outside (I was even worried about our vehicle!) and maybe wait to throw your trash until the very last day like we did!

Amazing log cabin home tucked away from Breckenridge! Perfect for couples or a family ! Beautiful

Mark was wonderful to deal with from the start! We booked this cabin a few months in advance for a snowmobile trip to Breckenridge. We wanted to be outside of Breckenridge to get away from all of the people. This place was just what we wanted! It has everything you could possible want including a large parking area for our 20ft enclosed trailer and truck. The snow removal was fabulous, the cabin was in great shape and everything worked as we wanted! It has beautiful views from the deck, and is only about 10 to 15 minutes from the town center, and about 25 minutes from the snowmobile trails, including Georgia pass which is breathtaking ! The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the floor heat was amazing! We love the hot tub and the views after a long day of sledding ! We will stay here again! I can't wait to bring my kids up to play in the snow, it was so deep in the back yard they would have a blast ! Can be a little tricky if it's snowing to get to as the road going up is rather steep and would be very difficult in a non 4 wheel drive vehicle. Again nothing to complain about, wonderful stay best money I have spent in a while, talk about bang for you buck ! Thanks again Mark !

We have been coming to this part of Colorado since 1996. All this time we wanted to buy a vacation home but could not find the right place. We looked in many areas of Colorado but always ended up in Breckenridge. Finally, the right opportunity presented itself and we now own a piece of Paradise...

This property is the perfect mountain home we've been looking for. The house has beautiful views and during the winter we can back country ski directly out the front door and we can hike in virtually any direction in the summer.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house has both a wood stove and radiant floor heating which make it very comfortable in the cooler months and the hot tub is perfect whatever the weather. The house is constructed of huge 12 in - 13 in beetle kill lodge pole pine. The logs were all hand peeled, cut & shaped by a local log home company in Salida, Colorado. They created a beautiful home with care and precision that we absolutely love and you will too.
