Nothing short of amazing. Beautiful place, beautiful location, host was very attentive and very easy to communicate with. Will be looking to travel to again.
Beautiful property that was well equipped with everything we needed. Make sure your car is able to make it up a snowy steep hill and youâve gotten acclimated to the high altitude! I live in Denver and the altitude still got meâso if youâre flying from out of town, which my friends did, make sure to take the necessary precautions to avoid feeling sick.
This was a great place to stay if one is looking for calm and get away from the city hustle. One part we were just slightly bummed about was that the house is somewhere really close to the main highway so there was a bit of automobile noise pollution even late in the evening. Not much but every now and then you would hear and see cars go by on that highway. The views are fantastic. The house itself is great.. Love the place. EVERY bit of detail has been taken care of from things as small is good quality shampoo etc. Well stocked kitchen with good quality stuff, good quality appliances, the radiant floor on the main floor was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.
The property is as beautiful as the photos on the website. The surrounding is very quiet and absolutely dark at night, perfect for star-gazing. I suggest first arriving to the house in the daytime as the road off the main path is a little hard to spot if first arriving at night. The kitchen was well stocked with pantry items, utensils and flatware: just bring your own food and you're ready to cook. Drive down to quaint Breckenridge to stock up on everything you need. We did not use the outdoor grill but one is ready for use, I noticed the spare gas tank in the garage which is a great thought by the owner. I had to do some work while on my vacation, but I must have felt like Hemingway writing in absolutely perfect surroundings staring right into the mountains. The house is surrounded by wildlife, during hikes up the mountain in the rear of the house we were able to see some large birds, a coyote den, and tracks of a bear... not sure what type. The house sits at an elevation around 11000 feet so be sure to prepare for some bottle burping when opening anything in a plastic bottle...it's actually kind of funny to see. It took a day or two to acclimate to the elevation. New appliances galore in kitchen and laundry, we packed light knowing that these amenities were available. Will want to return for future vacations.
Great cabin ! Beautiful, well equipped has almost everything you need ! Only down side is the location being so high caused altitude sickness and unfortunately we couldnât stay our third night there and had to rent a hotel :( if you can handle such high altitude this is the perfect cabin to stay !!!!!
We had a wonderful time at Brett's property. The cabin was everything we were looking for--clean, comfy, peaceful, and with a beautiful view. It was perfect for a relaxing week away in the mountains. We particularly loved the visits from wild mountain friends. We saw several foxes, a few mule deer, some birds of prey, and even had a bear on the patio one afternoon. We loved it!
We had a wonderful time during our stay, this home is one of the most beautiful cabins weâve stayed in here in Colorado. I will definitely recommend to all of my friends! Communication with property management was great, we appreciate it!
We had such a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. The house is just as pictured...and the views are even more magnificent in person! We hope we can come back and experience the magic of the mountains in this beautiful home again sometime. Thanks for providing such great accommodations!
What a great place to stop on our road-trip. We wish we could have stayed longer. The place was spotless, views spectacular, and check-in a breeze. Thanks!
This modern meets rustic cabin is amazing. It was immaculate and had lots of great design features such as recess lighting, one of a kind gas stove, spiral staircase, artistic lighting and much more.
Waking up, surrounded by snowy pines and spectacular views was such a treat and a nice break from urban life.
Check-in was a breeze. Host was very helpful and responsive.
Looking forward to staying here again!
I'm lucky enough to be the owners neighbor and good friend. They have entrusted me and my little company "Stay Living the Dream" to manage their amazing cabin for them. Being that I live just down the road I'm available as needed to make your stay phenomenal. Look us up online too!
This property is a custom log home that's one several architectural and design awards. This property looks at one of Colorado's famous 14,000' peaks, Mt. Quandary.
