Ideal location and everything was very easy. Communication with the owner was quick and simple, which made everything go great.
Would definitely stay here again!
This was our third stay at Jen's place in Palm Springs, and it just keeps getting better and better. We were there for a quiet birthday celebration, and it was everything I could have wanted - sunshine, pool, a BBQ grill and the mid-century charm of Palm Springs. Jen is an amazing host and always makes our stay wonderful. I can't imagine a better place to stay if you're looking for a house in Palm Springs - we will definitely be back!
Such a great spot! Came for stagecoach, was walking distance to the shuttle @ nearby margaritaville resort, had an awesome time relaxing in the pool before hand, took a few bike rides around the neighborhood. Quiet and safe spot, would definitely stay again! Thanks again!!
We always enjoy our time at Jen's place in Palm Springs - it's one of our favorite weekend getaways. The house is always in great condition and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Jen is quick to address any issues that arise. We'll definitely be back!
Loved everything about our stay. Jennifer is a great host. We had the best time during our week stay, and we are already planning on booking another week next year.
This vacation was all about relaxing, and this house is the perfect place to do that. The pool and hot tub are pristine, all the beds are comfortable, and the living space is furnished well. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked many meals.
The property has fun decor and everything you might need is tucked away somewhere. And the pool is fantastic â very private and heated for swimming anytime. Jennifer was a pleasure to deal with, immediately responding to all our questions and requests. She also gave great restaurant recommendations. We would definitely rent this place again.
This must be our 6th stay at Jennifer's wonderful Palm Springs house. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The pool is SO nice. And we even discovered several new restaurants close to the house making this trip even better. Although, did I mention how nice the pool was? Made it very hard to pack up and return home this year. Cannot wait to plan our next stay!!!
This was our second trip to this rental, and it was a spectacular experience yet again. We LOVE the spacious pool, which comes in very handy when it's 115 in the shade! The house is wonderful, comfortable and everything we could ask for. This time we brought a friend, and she enjoyed having her own quarters and bathroom. It's the perfect size for a small group like ours with two dogs as well. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we will absolutely be back. Thank you!
Everything we wanted, nothing we didn't. Great location, great swimming pool, authentic mid-century home. Check, check, check. Used the beach cruisers a few times with daughter. 5-min. ride to downtown. Entire stay was hassle free. Hope to book again on our next visit. 5-Stars! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!
We had a really nice stay at Jenâs very cute, super vintage midmod in Palm Springs! The updated kitchen and bath were perfect. We were thrilled to use the clean warm pool and charming hot tup. Jen was a really good communicator, friendly and helpful. Note that the schedule for pool maintenance is listed under the âpetsâ section of the check-in document. We didnât read that part, as we didnât bring pets, and narrowly averted a potentially very embarrassing intro to the very nice pool guy! All in all, a fun stay!
What a great place to get-away from the PNW winter!
This is our 5th year staying at Jennifer's wonderful house. We love the house layout, the whimsical mid-century decor and the excellent heated pool, which was essential this year with the cooler than expected temperatures. The location is great for getting to the downtown and it seems like more restaurants and other businesses have opened in the area between the house and downtown, as well. The cooler temperatures this year meant that we did more hiking than usual and also visited some of the art galleries in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. So, between eating at some of our favorite restaurants, exploring nature and the arts, and relaxing in the pool, this was just the break we needed from our snowy winter. Can't wait to come back next year!!
For the 4th year in a row, we have stayed at Jennifer's lovely house in Palm Springs. We come to see some tennis in Indian Wells, but it's becoming more difficult to pull ourselves away from pool time just to watch the professionals sweat. I especially love making coffee early in the morning in the fully equipped kitchen and drinking it beside the pool while listening to the birds sing in the palm trees. The neighborhood is very quiet, but so convenient to all of the great restaurants in Palm Springs downtown. Especially love the excellent food, cocktails and wine at old favorites Johannes and Purple Palm. Jennifer continues to be a great host, always responsive if needed, and offering useful local advice.
We thought that the cold and rain would limit our pool fun, but it didn't! The pool was very well heated and between that and the gorgeous cedar hot tub we actually spent a lot of time outdoors as snow fell in the mountains. Inside, we pulled out every blanket available to stay warm, but the house was cute and generally comfortable. We needed to grab some extra aluminum containers at the store down the street for our 7 dish Thanksgiving dinner that we cooked up, but for a galley kitchen it served us well. The decor was very cool and didn't feel like some sterile old rental. Don't forget your duraflame for the fireplace! We definitely look forward to returning to this glorious place!
Classic Palm Springs mid-century... like stepping back in time!
We absolutely loved our stay. Jennifer has very creatively updated this home, but kept the original feel with authentic pieces of furniture, art and fixtures. So many interesting things to look at... like the puffer fish light and woven bicycle!! Pretty much everything we needed was provided. We didnât make use of the pool, but my husband enjoyed the brand new cedar hot tub. There are bikes, and pool floats if using the pool. The location is fantastic for being in the heart of Palm Springs. Weâve stayed at many vacation rentals, this was definitely our favorite. Oh, and Jennifer was always just a text away... very helpful throughout our stay. Very fun place to stay! We will be back for sure!!
Owner had not been to property in some time and place was dirty and run down. Really gross beds. Owner seemed very nice in correspondences and I think really cares, but did nothing to compensate us. The fact that we still had to pay a cleaning fee is unfair to say the least. House could be great, but is not.
We had a great stay, but the best part was the communication from the host. She was so quick to respond to all of our questions. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The hot tub was adorable and the pool was clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to stay here again.
We did not want to leave! The pool is amazing with the tanning shelf. Beds are extremely comfortable. Everything was easy and smooth. We had the perfect getaway!
What a wonderful, fun and relaxing stay! Great mid-century Palm Springs ambiance, with a splash of the 70s in the cedar hot tub. What a treat. Jen was an amazing host! Very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. Canât wait to come back for more pool time!
We had a lovely time staying here. Everything went smoothly. We were so comfortable. Loved the privacy of the backyard and the convenience of the shuttle. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a magical weekend.
We've both been in advertising for over 20 years, my husband an art director and I'm a producer. We love the way Palm Springs still holds a slice of time from the 60s and we love spending time with our dog Bernice, the St. Bernard.
I have been coming to Palm Springs since I was a kid - This is the spot where Spring Break happened... Coupled with the 60s feel of the house - we had to make it a part of our lives.
I loved the way the house felt indigenous to the land - The purple on the house matches the purple hue the mountain gets during the day and the concrete floors flow with the stone outdoors.
