THE APARTMENT
The apartment La Conchiglia is situated in Riomaggiore Cinque Terre, on the second floor of a typical building from Liguria. Breathtaking sea view from each window!

Two-rooms apartment, 40 sqmt, it features: one bedroom with one double bed and a sofa bed, living room with one sofa bed and fully equipped kitchenette. Bathroom with shower.

Equipment: air conditioning/heating, free wi fi, hair dryer, dish washer, washing machine, stove and oven, freezer and fridge, tv.

Breathtaking sea view from each window, even from the bathroom!

LOCATION - PLEASE NOTE
The apartment is located in Via di Loca, in the upper part of the town and it can be reached in about 15/20 minutes ON FOOT ONLY  from the train station or from the paid parking .  Lift not available.

SELF CHECK The apartment is situated in Riomaggiore, our office, instead, is situated in a village called Deiva Marina, 30 km away, where we have a hotel ( Hotel Clelia Logis – seasonal opening).

REACHING RIOMAGGIORE AND THE APARTMENT LA CONCHIGLIA BY TRAIN
We suggest you to travel by train: a car is not necessary in Cinque Terre , besides finding a parking place during the summer can be hard. Travel by train instead and use it to move from one village to the other.
From the train station: 15/20 minutes on foot. The apartment can not be reached by car.
Please be sure to arrive to Riomaggiore before the sunset: reaching the house is much easier!
The Cinque Terre are beautiful and the little difficulty to reach them is part of the magic.
Bring with you light luggage!

REACHING RIOMAGGIORE BY CAR AND PARKING
In Riomaggiore there is a paid parking just at the beginning of the pedestrian area of the village. We suggest you to travel by train thoug, above all during the Summer.

This apartment was perfect! Best view in Cinque Terre and it was nice to be above the town. Very clean and had all the supples we needed to cook wonderful meals at home with local ingredients. The hosts were helpful and communicative. The week we spent here was like a dream. Hoping to one day return! Grazie mille

Beautiful view from every window! Quiet location a short walk from town center. Really young children and anyone who struggles with walking uphill may find the walk challenging.

Beautiful property and helpful host. Riomaggiore can be a hard place to navigate, but we received instructions from the host, with photos and we found it. The apartment is just like the photos, but the views from every window are even more stunning in person. Check in was easy, the place was well-equipped. The location was a short walk away from the shops and restaurants and so quiet and private. Absolutely perfect.

Beautiful views and clean apartment just steps from the town center.

We loved our stay here. The pics do not do it justice. It was a wonderfully clean apartment with all the essentials. Also was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown that the only sounds we heard were the wind and the waves.

The WOW factor here is the view from the windows of the apartment. The vistas are absolutely stunning! It’s a hike to get here, but more than worth it. The communication with management was helpful. Truly a vacation we will always treasure!

Great host and beautiful view!!

Three windows show the view in the photos, possibly the best view in the Cinque Terre. The host was great. We accidentally left some items behind and they were great about getting us the items back. Only complaint was out stay wasn't longer. We would rate 100/10

The hike to get there is more than worth it for this fantastic apartment with every window sporting a breathtaking (& envy-inducing) view of the city! This apartment is stacked with amenities, and the sunsets are a must-see!

Best view I've ever experienced on vacation

Wow. Thats what I said when I first stepped into the apartment and saw the view of Riomaggiore....and I couldnt stop saying it. Such a beautifully romantic location, and the hospitality was 10/10 ensuring we had directions and arrived safely, we will be returning!

Beautiful View- Recommended

Absolutely stunning views- the listing photos are accurate. Yes, a bit of a hike up a steep incline (paved) and then steep stone steps and then more steps in the building but nothing that wasn’t manageable for us and we definitely agree that the little hike was worth it. We would recommend this place and would stay here again- Riomaggiore is absolutely beautiful and what a treat to see the homes across the way from this vacation spot light up at dusk!

Beautiful view from the window of this apartment. We loved our stay here. It was nice to have a quiet and relaxing day at the end of our Italy trip. The property owner (manager?) was very communicative and made sure we had good instructions to find the apartment. It wasn't really hard to find but would be confusing if you didn't know where you were going. We appreciated all the detail to make it easy to find. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Did I say the view was amazing and beautiful?

Beautiful Apartment in Riomaggiore!

This is a fabulous apartment! The view is amazing!! The people that own the apartment also own a hotel in Deiva Marina...they are very kind, helpful and gracious. The only downside is the hike to the apartment. It's not very long but you definitely need to be in good/decent shape to get there. The only recommendation that I have would be if instructions could be left in various languages on how to use the washing machine, what to do with the trash, etc. Other than that it was excellent!!

The apartmen can be reached only on foot and Riomaggiore...is not flat :-) That's why we always suggest to pack light. Anyway it's position makes possible having stunning sea views. Stunning views, comfortable quarters, access a little challenging with luggage

There is no question - this is where you want to stay if you are looking for stunning views! The location of this apartment above the town with windows on both sides is the major attraction of this property. But be prepared for a challenge getting luggage to the apartment. If we had it to do again, we would stay here but engage a luggage delivery service. Overall the apartment is comfortable, with an air conditioner in the bedroom and windows with shutters for cross ventilation if you prefer open air. The furnishings are unpretentious and were adequate for us. I might have asked for a few more amenities in the kitchen ( such as a toaster) but it was manageable. I have to comment on the excellent communication and follow up of the staff at Clelia. They replied very promptly to my inquiries from reservation to checkout. This is really a great base from which to explore all the Cinque Terre.

Dear Ms Williams, thank you very much for your feedback. We are very happy to know that you appreciated the beautiful sea view from the apartment's windows: from there you have stunning view on the sea, on Riomaggiore and on Via dell'Amore too! As you say, yes Cinque Terre are a bit challengin :-) Reaching the apartment from the train station it takes about 10/15 minutes on foot and it's a uphill road, that's why, when we forward the instructions to reach the apartment, we always suggest to bring light luggage. Anyway in Riomaggiore there is a guy with a piaggio apecar who could help with the luggage, if necessary. As for the kitchen, it's equipped with oven, stove, dish washer, caffettiera, plates, silver, pans etc; your opinion is important to us and yes you're right: a toaster would do! Thank you very much for letting us know: this way we have the chance to improve! Very happy that the communication between us worked well: thank you very much for letting us know! Hope to have you as our guests again in the future! Have a good day!

Excellent séjour

Nous sommes restés 3 jours au Cinque Terre. Le logement est fabuleux ainsi que l’endroit. Les propriétaires ont été disponibles et nous ont très bien renseigné sur le logement et comment y accéder. La vue est juste exceptionnelle et l’appartement très bien équipé. Malheureusement au retour nous nous sommes fait cambrioler notre voiture garer au parking soys-terrain de la gare… On vous conseille de ne rien laisser dans votre voiture et de faire attention.

Incredible views in Riomaggiore

The views from this property were gorgeous! It was a bit of challenge to get to so definitely consider if you will have large or heavy luggage. But we thought well worth it. The owner was very responsive and helpful in providing directions to the rental and check in instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

great location and view

nice quiet location just a short walk from the main street. beautiful views of the town and sea. in fact there were many tourists who walked up to see the same view of the town at a lookout nearby. the shower was tiny but perhaps that is to be expected. would stay here again!

AMAZING VIEWS

We were well rewarded for the little hike with our bags. Our perch above the town allowed us to enjoy not only the sights and sounds of Riomaggiore but also the beautiful Mediterranean and the sunsets were amazing. We found we enjoyed cooking in the little kitchen while watching the sun go down over this little piece of paradise.
