Amazing location, property is very well maintained, hostess and host are delightful. They shared suggestions for the area and the hostess made a wonderful dessert for us. This is a place with so much to offer, we are so happy we stayed.

Our stay was amazing! It's located in such a beautiful location! The hosts were so sweet to us and our children! They even made our daughter a birthday cake (that was also amazing) when they found out it was her birthday. We will definitely go stay again!

By far one of our favorite stays in the Black Hills. The property was absolutely beautiful and the house was everything we needed for our family of 5. I can’t say enough kind words about the hosts- Derito and Margaret! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! Derito smoked a trout that my son caught in the pond, and Margaret made brownies for our son’s bday. Both were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Location and Gracious Hosts!!

This location is so beautiful and serene...we didn't want to leave! The home is very clean and cozy as well, and Margaret and Derito are very hospitable, gracious and kind. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing property

We really enjoyed our stay! Our kids loved the bunk beds and the fishing that we were blessed to do! We enjoyed playing a couple board games that is provided. The host welcomed us with kindness and answered any questions we may have had! The location was perfect for our little family vacation.

Excellent place to stay with family

This was a great place to stay with a family of all ages. The place was as nice as it looked online, the pond was super fun for my young kids, and the hosts’ hospitality was truly great! They cooked up the fish my son caught and made treats for my kids which was above and beyond. Highly recommended place for a family with kids.

Great property and home!

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property - the amenities (pool table, pond/fishing, and firepit), location and cleanliness. It was always a sanctuary to retreat to after busy days of seeing the sights around the Black Hills. We will definitely stay again on future visits.

Great place to relax and unwind

Our stay was perfect. The hosts are wonderful people and gave us a few tips on places to go with our little girls. We absolutely loved the place. Extremely clean accommodations, beautiful property, great hot tub, and an absolutely amazing pond to fish and relax by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our 4 girls (0-10) loved it.

Fabulous Stay in Nemo!

Our stay at Custer Camp was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and the home is equally nice.The fishing pond was a huge hit and provided many hours of entertainment for our teenage son.

Great Stay!

This property is amazing. The home itself is very cozy and has everything you need for your stay. The surrounding area is very peaceful and beautiful. We had a great time fishing in the pond and spending time with the residents (both animals and people). We felt like family while we were there. Hopefully we can return soon!

Cannot say enough about our stay here. The property was beautiful and the stay was comfortable and hosts were just the nicest people you will ever meet. We were looking for a place that was more secluded and private, and we got it. I was unaware that the property owner lives on site, and the rental was the basement apartment, but it didn't matter, because we hardly knew they were there. The property and apartment was perfect, and the host even invited us for an impromptu "concert" from one of their visiting friends who used to sing and play at a restaurant they used to own. If you are looking to detach from technology and just enjoy amazing scenery and nature, this is the place! You are deep in the Black Hills forest, so there is no cell service here, and the internet can be spotty at times, so come to unplug! It's worth it! They even have a stocked trout pond. My son loved fishing each night, after our days adventures. The area is stocked full of activities in the area, most within an hours drive of our location through some of the most beautiful national park forest you have ever seen! Just an amazing trip!
