Treetop Retreat est un condo privé à Waterwheel Condominiums sur la rivière Guadalupe à New Braunfels. Notre unité d'extrémité ultra-privée au 3ème étage offre un balcon privé et aucune circulation piétonne devant votre porte ni bruit au-dessus de vous. Ce spacieux condo de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain a des fenêtres du sol au plafond et un balcon privé face à la belle étendue de la rivière Guadalupe. Avec un lit king dans la chambre principale, un lit queen dans la chambre d'amis et un canapé-lit pleine grandeur, cette unité peut accueillir confortablement 6 personnes.

Waterwheel est une communauté de condominiums de maisons privées nichées dans un quartier résidentiel, offrant la sensation tranquille d'une retraite au bord de la rivière tout en étant au centre du cœur de l'action de New Braunfels. Détendez-vous dans l'une des deux piscines, trempez-vous dans l'un des quatre bains à remous. Plantez votre chaise de camping dans la rivière et lisez un livre ou pêchez à votre guise. Marchez à côté de Rockin 'R River Rides pour prendre une navette pour faire flotter la rivière Comal. Ou prenez la navette de la rivière Guadalupe directement dans le parking. Marcher ou conduire 6 blocs jusqu'à Schlitterbahn. Promenez-vous au coin de Cypress Bend Park pour un court flotteur de retour à Waterwheel. Conduisez jusqu'à l'île Hinman, le parc Landa, le centre-ville de New Braunfels ou la ville historique de Gruene en moins de 5 minutes.

Il y a une salle de bain privée avec douche dans la chambre principale et une salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne avec entrée dans le couloir et la deuxième chambre. L'unité dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, cafetière, micro-ondes et élimination des ordures. La cuisine est remplie de couverts, d'ustensiles de cuisine et de vaisselle, ainsi que de consommables tels que le café, les édulcorants et la crème, le savon à vaisselle, le savon à lessive et les serviettes en papier. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse empilables et beaucoup de linge de maison supplémentaire.

La porte est équipée d'une serrure numérique et chaque client reçoit un code unique pour son séjour. Pas besoin de vous enregistrer n'importe où et pas d'attente pour qu'un responsable vous apporte une clé. Arrivez, laissez-vous entrer et faites comme chez vous!

Spring in the Hill Country

We always enjoy the Hill Country in spring. This was a great centralized location to venture out on day trips to other Hill Country locations. Took one day just to lay by the pool and read on a blanket under the trees by the river and it was very relaxing. Great communication with the owner and found the accommodation to be quiet and relaxing.

Nice place with the things you need.

Enjoyed our stay. The decor is updated with comfortable furniture and beds. The swimming pool and hot tubs were nice. The hostess was very responsive when we had a problem with the electronic lock, which was fixed promptly. The place was very well supplied, with coffee, sugar, spices, etc. Some downsides: not good for people who can’t negotiate a lot of stairs, as it is on the third floor, with the only elevator located at the other end of the condo and a long walk from the parking places. The place was overall very clean, but a few small things need attention, such as a couple pieces of old stained cookware, cleaning of the furnace air return, and some touch up painting. The location on the river with the large lawn is very good. I would be happy to stay there again.

The property was as advertised. The manager, Suzanne F., went above a beyond in all aspects of our stay from arranging flowers to recommending TOp restaurants to asking the right questions to understand our needs and expectations. She like NO other manager we have come across. She will ensure your stay is an exceptions memory. We will definitely return to the property.

Wurstfest getaway!

We came to town for Wurstfest- our first year bringing an infant with us so the fact that the check in was so easy, the property was clean but cozy, and in a great location were big perks! We were so close to downtown and to Gruene, We actually loved being on the top floor with no one above us or to one side of us, as well as facing our to the back of the property versus parking lot/other buildings. Would absolutely stay here again!!

you don' t see the water from the balcony, but it is a nice place, quick drive into downtown, Gruene Hall and Buc-ees.

Great River Retreat

We loved our stay. We have two young boys and they enjoyed swimming in the river and the pool. Everything is as shown with the condo. It was clean and communication with the owner was easy. Short walk to a great location on the river. The condo pool was clean and relaxing with two hot tubs. Also the large green space is fun for throwing a football or frisbee. And very close to the water park. Great getaway!

Perfect little get away!

My husband and I spend a few days hanging out on the river while our kids were at camp. The location of the condo is perfect for privacy. Loved the options of sitting in the river or the pool! I enjoyed sitting on balcony in the morning and listening to all the birds in the tree right by the balcony. This location provides everything you need: tubes, towels, movies, and a kitchen stocked with cook wear! We plan on coming back with the kiddos!

Great stay

You do not see the river from this location (although the view is still lovely!). You have easy river access on the property- you just can’t see it from the balcony. This was a well appointed condo with everything you need. The binders with information were great! They need the add The Hideaway to the restaurant list! We ate there one evening- Best. Chicken tenders. Ever!! Very easy to communicate with the manager. Grounds are really pretty! Well come back again!

Comfortable Stay

We recently stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment and had an overall pleasant experience. The property was just as described, and the photos matched reality. The larger bathroom had a tub, while the second one had a shower—both functional and convenient. Cleanliness was okay upon arrival, though we weren't fans of the bathroom mat in the main shower tub. It’s a minor thing, but worth mentioning. The check-in process was a breeze. We received timely messages from the host letting us know the apartment was ready, and accessing the place was straightforward. Location-wise, the apartment is situated close to a cemetery (which might sound spooky but was actually quite peaceful) and faces a lovely park. It’s a short distance to Schlitterbahn, and there’s a gas station a few minutes away, which was very convenient. The amenities were solid—everything you need in the kitchen, plus a dishwasher, washer, dryer, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and beach towels. We appreciated having all the essentials covered. The beds were on the softer side, so if you prefer a firmer mattress, you might not be as comfortable. Seating included a small table with four stools and two extra stools by the kitchen counter, which worked well for us. One downside was the noise level. The walls are pretty thin, and we could hear the neighbors snoring. I had a cough that week, and my family could hear me clearly through the walls. Despite these minor issues, the property offered good value for money.

We had a great visit and the condo exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and ready for us early. They even had tubes for us to use and lots of good suggestions and info for us for local things to do. Thank you for a great stay!

Access to all of our swimming needs

Had a last minute schedule change and decided to go to New Braunfels for a visit to Schlitterbahn with our son. It has been a while since we have been there but found this property listed with great reviews about the place, location, amenities and the host. All were spot on. Suzanne was quick to respond to questions and also kept us informed about Checkin as the VRBO came available early afternoon. Walking in the place was clean and nice and cold! There is access to the river on the property and the floats. We didn’t use the river access at the property but instead went right around the corner to a city park and swam in the Guadalupe River for our first evening. Getting up the next morning we had passes to the water park which is a literally about 5 min walk or extremely short drive. We made dinner at the VRBO and had everything we needed to be able to make it with very little hunting around for items. Overall, if I were going out to NB again to float any of the rivers or visit Schlitterbahn again I would not hesitate to come back to this property. Thanks for having it available!

Birthday Celebration

We came to New Braunsfels to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at Schlitterbahn. We enjoyed our stay at the Treetop Retreat. It was very clean, in a safe and centralized location, and it was roomy enough for the 4 of us. The check in and out process was very easy. Loved seeing the deer out on the landscape. Wish we would have had more time to explore the grounds. We would definitely stay here again.
