Une maison de style chalet de montagne absolument charmante avec l'une des meilleures vues du comté de Haywood. Un plan de plain-pied avec un espace de vie ouvert mis en évidence par des poutres apparentes, des plafonds voûtés et des puits de lumière. Un plan d'étage divisé avec une grande suite parentale attenante sur un côté et 2 chambres d'hôtes et 2 salles de bains sur le côté opposé de la maison donne à chacun une intimité. Vous aurez une vue magnifique à longue portée sur les baumes à une altitude de 3000 ’, mais vous êtes à seulement 1,5 km du centre-ville de Waynesville avec toutes les boutiques pittoresques et les restaurants exceptionnels.

Le parcours de golf de 27 trous Waynesville conçu par Donald Ross est à seulement 4/10 mile de votre porte au Pro Shop pour vous connecter aux heures de départ. Si vous voulez vous faire dorloter, le spa Balsam est situé dans le même complexe. Le Roost est le point médian entre Asheville et la réserve indienne Cherokee (Harrah’s Casino), idéal pour les excursions d'une journée avec les principales autoroutes facilement accessibles. Lorsque la neige arrive, dévaler les pistes sera une autre activité amusante car il n'est qu'à 24 km de la station de ski de Cataloochee ou optez pour des tubes de neige dans Maggie Valley.

This property was spectacular. A gorgeous view from the large front porch, and beautiful flower gardens. The house was decorated perfectly, and the kitchen was the best stocked with pots, pans, etc., of any VRBO we have stayed in. The owners were wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend this property.

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at The Roost! The house is incredibly clean, cozy, well stocked, etc. etc. etc. The view is amazing - pictures do no justice to how beautiful it is. We spent hours just relaxing on the porch, enjoying the breeze. Super convenient to town but it feels like you are miles away once you get to the house. The host was fantastic as well - excellent communication, and I felt like they were actually happy we were there. We will definitely be back to this amazing property!

The view alone is worth the price! The house is comfortable and creatively themed. There is a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the cookware for a stay at home vacation. However, the location offers amazing sights to see in the beautiful Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains. Hope to come back to this lovely house in Wayneville, NC.

Susan and Keith are great hosts. Their property is warm and inviting and perfect for a getaway. This was our second time staying at their property and it was a pleasure to stay there. This was the most special cottage and the most welcoming host. We loved everything about our stay here. The view is spectacular! It was such a convenient location as we enjoyed time in beautiful Waynesville and several other surrounding towns. We saw many beautiful mountain views but none any prettier than the one we enjoyed from the swing on the porch at THE ROOST! The host went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect - complete with restaurant recommendations and local events and sites info. I highly recommend this gem for a mountain getaway!

We came to NC for a wedding and to make wonderful memories. The Roost will make the top 5 list of great memories of the week. I can't list everything that was just perfect for our stay, I'd run out of room. Meticulously maintained home with outstanding views. Owners have thought of everything needed to make stay comfortable and enjoyable. Home is spacious and has lots of natural light. Surrounding grounds are well maintained. Nice neighborhood and excellent location. Owners were easy to communicate with as needed. Will be returning next year!

Wonderful get away

The property was absolutely beautiful. We loved using the kitchen and cooking in some to enjoy the breathtaking view!! The yard was well maintained and beautiful flowers. We will definitely be renting again. It was home away from home.

Spectacular!

The Roost was the perfect place for a weekend getaway!!! Everything was just perfect and the view from the front porch was breathtaking! Susan was always available for questions and the checkin process was super easy!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views!

Home is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Owners take pride in their home and we were extremely pleased in the home’s ambiance. We will definitely be returning.

LOVED IT!

Thank you so much for letting us enjoy our first trip out of state in your home! The entire trip was amazing! We traveled all over and explored alot of new places!! Can't wait for our next trip!!

Perfect location, gorgeous view, wonderful house

For a small cottage this house seems much roomier with overall cathedral ceilings and lots of light. The house was clean as a whistle and the owners excellent to work with. Highly recommend this property.

We live in Fayetteville, NC and hope to retire to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina in a few more years. We began our search for a vacation home near Asheville so we could start to learn more about the area and be close to family that lives in Asheville...especially the latest addition to our wonderful family... our 3rd granddaughter!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Initially, we were looking in the Asheville/Hendersonville area, wanting to be as close to our Asheville family as we could. We spotted THE ROOST on the internet & loved the cottage look and told our real estate agent if she would drive us over we'd buy her lunch since we were certain we would buy in the Asheville area :-) We wanted her to see the style house that really caught our attention. The 30 minute drive over from Asheville was easy, the lovely neighborhood so close to the center of town, and the amazing rock retaining walls leading up to the house were all wonderful. All it took however was for us to step on the porch and look at the view of the Balsam Range of the Smokey Mountains from 3000' to know this house was the perfect home for us- you just know when you get goose bumps it's something special! And we had not even stepped inside the house yet! Once inside, it was all over - we knew this was the one! Not surprising - our guests now say the same thing :-)

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

So close to downtown yet with killer views! We are so centrally located to enjoy Western North Carolina outdoor activities, festivals and tons of great restaurants. Waynesville is one of the best kept secrets around!
