Belle vie intérieure / extérieure sur la plage. 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain maison privée sur le front de mer; 6 personnes. Vaste espace de vie extérieur, breezeways, plage privée et piscine, ponts d'observation. Cuisine entièrement équipée, carrelage saltillo et planchers de bois franc Belizean. Aires de repas intérieures et extérieures.

Vous arrivez à un grand ruisseau de tuiles Saltillo avec une piscine et une terrasse sur la plage privée de sable blanc. A l'intérieur se trouve une buanderie et un espace de rangement. L'étage est le salon principal avec 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains et une cuisine entièrement équipée. Profitez de la vue imprenable sur l'océan de chacun des espaces de vie ainsi que la véranda extérieure qui court le long de la maison donnant sur votre plage et l'océan. Portes françaises mènent de la salle de séjour et de la chambre principale à la grande véranda couverte. De la véranda est un escalier en colimaçon menant à une terrasse privée sur le toit avec une vue magnifique sur l'arrière-baie, les montagnes et les couchers de soleil.

C'est la plus belle région de la péninsule et est idéalement situé à moins de 2 miles au nord de Maya Beach où vous trouverez des épiceries, de grands restaurants et des bars. Nous sommes loin du bruit et de la poussière de Placencia Village, mais il est facile 15 minutes en voiture sur la route nouvellement pavée du village où vous trouverez de nombreux magasins, restaurants, bars de plage, des stands de légumes et de la musique.

Amazing views

We enjoyed sitting on the veranda every night playing cards. The view from this home is amazing! The house was equipped with everything we needed. We had a couple small issues but I told Christine about them and she was very responsive. Loved the waterfalls, snorkeling and highly recommend goingTo King Louies Island.

Beautiful property with stunning view’s PARADISE

This was 50th birthday trip. The property is clean very spacious and well equipped for cooking in home. However, the food around the area was delicious. Leo the property manager on site made all of our reservations for ruins, fishing, and what ever else we requested. We caught red snapper and snook then Leo had 2 wonderful ladies come prepare it at the house for my birthday dinner. Highly recommend this property

The Perfect Home Away From Home!

Upon arrival, we found the property to be even more picturesque and beautiful than the photos showed! Also, the rooms were much bigger than we imagined and the kitchen had everything needed even for a larger grouo our size. The house was tastefully decorated and comfortable for a very relaxing and enjoyable week. Our family enjoyed the pool which was private and inviting. We also loved using the kayaks and paddleboards which to us was like icing on a cake! We would defintely highly recommend this property to anyone going to Belize and we would defintely stay here again the next time we travel to Belize!! Thank you, Christine, for being an awesome hostess!!

Great place to experience Belize for first time

The very best thing about this place is being on the ocean with a beautiful sandy beach right in front of us. Even though other homes are on both sides, we never had trouble with noise, too many people around, etc. Just the quiet, healing vibe we needed to escape from cold weather and the stresses of everyday life.

Fantastic location, beautiful house, and great communication from owner and local manager

We are just finishing a wonderful 5 days at Casa de la Vista. Christine has a beautiful house in the perfect location. Close to Maya Beach and an easy drive into Placencia. Everything needed for a wonderful stay is here: hammocks to lounge in, a pool to cool off in, comfortable lounge chairs and the roof top deck from which to gaze at the stars. Leo, the local property manager was a big help with an excursion to Monkey River. We had a great trip and can’t wait until we can come back!

Fabulous from start to finish!

This property is even better then the pictures present! We were a group of 3 couples and had a blast. The house is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We cooked several meals, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need! Leo the property manager was very helpful and the owner Christine was quick to respond. Highly recommend this property / location for couples and families.

Must stay!

Christine’s home was truly that, a home away from home. From the moment we pulled up we knew we found a hidden gem. The house is exactly as described, relaxing and comforting. The location was perfect for our group of adventurers to travel into the country to hike and explore, but a short enough drive down the peninsula to food and bars in Placencia daily. The house is great to spend the day on the beach, with plenty to keep you entertained, or as a home base for exploring. We highly recommend this home as it made our trip to Belize perfect.

Great home, beautiful location.

Right on the ocean with a great view. Several balconies with seating on all. The weather was perfect and the beach was great. Lots of room for the three of us with two bedrooms. Great view form the master bedroom of the beach and ocean. Very nice pool at end of deck. House is in a nice area with easy access to the downtown area. A fully equipped kitchen with a charcoal grill outside made for some fine dining. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Beach House & Location!

We stayed at this beach house for several days while looking for property to purchase in Placencia. It was perfect; on the ocean, nice pool and decks and awesome ocean & mountain views. The house was well stocked, comfortable, good AC's and fans and very relaxing. After our house hunting we would swim in the ocean & pool and lounge on the veranda and decks to enjoy the views. We had stayed in the Village previously but I much prefer this location away from the noise and dust of the Village but easily accessible to everything. We will definitely return to this house!

Paradise

This piece of paradise is one of the most amazing places we've ever been to. My two sons and I travel to different location annually and this one goes right to the top of the list. The host provided everything you could possibly want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The home and amminties were impeccable. The views were incredible from everywhere in the house. Very comfortable home with refreshing pool and nice amenities.

Only disappointment was the third bedroom which was an add-on room. No walls to the ceiling and no privacy and no air conditioning. Beds need new mattresses and linens. Veranda and lower deck with hammocks and lounge chairs were comfortable. Kitchen and home well-stocked and wi-fi much appreciated. Relatively close to Placencia on a good road.

Better than the photos!

This house was absolutely perfect. The beach is as close as it looks in the photos. The home is clean and comfortable and well stocked. The location in Maya Beach is just a couple minutes from restaurants and tours. We were able to see a lot of the Belize attractions easily from the house. Our kids loved that they could go from ocean to pool and my husband and I love that we could see them from our chair in the sand at either one. Both Christine, the US manager, and Leo, the manager in Belize, were responsive and easy to work with. Leo and his son Ever helped us get all the tours we needed and did our airport pickup and arranged the rental car. Amazing stay!

Beautiful Beachfront Home

Amazing beachfront property! Christine was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. Leo the property manager was amazing as well. He helped with booking our excursions and even drove us two hours each way. Any questions we had were immediately addressed and we have never felt more welcome. The home is stunning. It is close enough to shops and restaurants to not feel isolated but far enough away that you don't feel the resort/touristy type vibe. There are bikes and paddle boards available, a private covered pool with attached sunning deck. There is even a rooftop patio. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a Belizean get away.

An Amazing Experience and Place

This place is amazing! The house had everything! It is situated on the beach and morning swims, snorkeling, and paddle boarding were wonderful. We had meals on the balcony patio and watched pods of manatee swim by each day. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the house had beach towels, washer and dryer, and a swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Christine was amazing and her directions to the house, things to do in Placencia, connections with how to set up tours, etc were wonderful! Leo and his family were also fantastic. They made this a trip of a lifetime from Mayan ruins, cave tubing, snorkeling, touring Monkey River, swimming in waterfalls, and teaching us about Belize! Leo’s sister prepared us an incredible Belizean meal on our last night. We look forward to staying again!!!

Overall a great place and location

Generally a very good and comfortable stay. The property has most of what you’ll need to be comfortable for a family of 4 or up to 3 couples. The home is in need of some updating and general maintenance, though, this seems typical of most of the country and Central America in general. The beach and ocean are fantastic, though we couldn’t swim too often due to the jelly’s. We even spotted several rays while sitting on the beach! Bugs can be aggressive, but spray works well if you keep on it. The kitchen could have been better supplied with a few basics, like cooking oil or condiments as other similar properties I’ve stayed in. The pots and pans need to be replaced as well, but again, it’s a short term rental and def isn’t a dealbreaker considering the location and price point!

Beautiful Property with a Breathtaking View

Our trip to Belize was absolutely wonderful. The house was just as pictured, and very lovely. All of the outdoor spaces were quite nice and had gorgeous views. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need- even a lime squeezer for those margaritas on the beach! There are even guide books on the coffee table in the event you want to read more about the activities you have planned or are trying to decide on planning! I think my only complaint would be the neighbor next door and his affinity for playing techno music very loudly on his outdoor speakers at odd hours (early morning, late at night, middle of the night). Leo, the property manager was wonderful though and helped us immediately when we complained about the noise, and also helped us with all of our excursions, car rentals, and questions throughout our stay! We loved the house though and will certainly be back to Belize!

Great House and Location

This property has all you could want in a fabulous ocean front rental. The view, the balconies, the location were great. The property has all of the amenities needed for a great stay. The outside living area was a dream and were we spent the bulk of out time while there. Maya beach is a great location as noted by other reviews, not to far from Placencia village as well as reaching some of the nearby parks, other villages and destinations. We had a car while there and would have one again in order to reach all of the areas that we would want to visit. The bikes were great for those areas close by though. The local bar/restaurant Mangos became our go to spot. Had a great meal at the Maya Bistro both within five minutes from the house. We also had a great time at the TFP (The Flying Pig) just north of Placencia for some good bar food and live music. Christine, the manager is very responsive as is Leo the local property manager. You won't be disappointed if you rent this property.

Ideal spot for family reunion

The description of this house is spot-on! We spent our days on paddle boards, snorkeling, reading, playing corn-hole and lounging in hammocks. The one thing you can't grasp from the pictures is the true beauty of the beach and the sea. The water is generally calm with small, lapping waves and the beach is very private, besides the neighbors on either side. It is incredibly peaceful, despite being right on Placencia road. The house itself was perfect for the six of us, but keep in mind the third bedroom seems to have been an add-on....so a little smaller with no independent AC and also a little less private, as the walls consist of oversized plantation shutters. Still would not have been a deal-breaker, just FYI. I liked the location, being in between downtown Placencia and the Hummingbird Highway. Great local restaurants....our favorite was The Green Parrot, and we loved Jaguar Lanes for the bowling and outdoor pool table. Christine and Leo were also extremely helpful and super-quick to respond to any email/text. Overall, would highly recommend Casa de la Vista....we had an amazing time at Christine's house!

Casa Dela Vista was a beautiful home, tastefully decorated

As I mentioned in my title - outstanding beautiful property and for us it was located very well for the activities we wanted to do. Going down the peninsula 10-25 minutes we could find several terrific restaurants with ocean and/or lagoon views. If you like seafood - this is the place to come. We had terrific seafood selections with very reasonable prices. All while open air dining with nice breezes off the waters. We could get to our water activities ( snorkeling, charter fishing and Monkey River tour) within about 20 minutes. We went up into the mainland and saw Mayan ruins only 2 hours away. We could have accessed a lot more activities but our ages ( high 60's to 80) prevented us from doing more . The owner is very responsive and Leo (home manager) is attentive and his grounds-keeping people are terrific in raking the beach, keeping the shrubs, pool, flowers and trees looking good. We felt secure in this area with the drive almost a block from the main road , sensor lights, wall and good neighbors. We found that even though rain was forecast for the area almost daily , that this peninsula area seemed to create a different weather pattern distinctly more pleasant than the mainland. It almost always had a breeze; nice temps in the high 70's and mid 80's during the day and not a lot of rain. Could have used some microwaveable dishes but everything else needed was there. The Belizean authorities were requiring masks and were said to be fining people not in compliance. We felt safer around this area than back home in Indiana. Belize at the time we were there had a safer national virus rating than the U.S. Kudos to our VRBO home owners - very nice stay !!

Relaxing Getaway

My family and I stayed for nearly a week at this property. Christine and Leo were awesome to work with! Leo planned our two excursions and Christine provided all pertinent information. We ate out mostly but there is a store right down the street to pick up goods. Leo had our rental car waiting on us when we arrived. The pool was a great place to cool down in the Belizean heat. The home was clean and had plenty of fresh linens! Tips: We went during the "rainy season" as the locals call it. We did not have much rain except for one bad storm while we were there. However, due to it being rainy season, the water near the shore was murky. If you go during this time, I highly recommend not going in the water. My son went in twice and got stung by a jellyfish each time. A local woman informed me that they come in during the "rainy season" but was very happy and eager to help my son when he got stung (the local people are so nice!) Restaurants: We enjoyed the Maya Beach Bistro but it was surprisingly not our favorite after all the positive reviews we've seen. The peanut butter brittle ice cream there and the breakfast are the only two reasons to go! Dinner at night was much better at the Green Parrot and Bonefish Grille. Plus, if you have kids, each of these businesses allow children to swim, utilize hammocks, or even buy a local fisherman's catch for the restaurant to cook at their dock as long you are a paying customer. For being third world, the restaurants were actually higher than the restaurants we have at home. It did not bother us any because we tend not to be on a budget on vacation but I wanted to let others know in case they are. Excursions: We snorkeled which I highly recommend to anyone going to Belize! Local guides will take you to areas that look like a post card! We also went to the Monkey River Village. It is hot and loaded with bugs but it is worth it to be able to see the jungle! Highly recommend it! Thanks Christine and Leo! We look forward to booking again in the future when we are finally done touring the entire Caribbean.

Wonderful Vacation, Beautiful, Well Equipped House

My husband and I chose this house for our first trip to Belize. There were just to two of us, so clearly there was plenty of room. The home is beautiful, as is the beach in front of the house. When we drove up, it was clear that we had chosen the right place. The directions to the house from the airport were slightly vague and it took us a little while to find the house but once we did, we were very pleased. Regardless, I would recommend flying into Placencia rather than driving. We drove in and later decided to fly back to Belize City instead of drive which was a quick 25 minutes compared to the 3.5 hour drive.The air conditioning in the house was very sufficient, which is something that is important to us in a tropical climate. The views from all of the decks were lovely. The water in front of the house was perfectly clear depending on the weather and my husband and I enjoyed walking around and checking out the small amount of sea life near the beach. We found a couple of sand dollars, sea snails and saw some barracuda, large blue crab and even a small sting ray. There were plenty of spaces in front of the house to walk around and avoid the sea grass if that is something that bothers you. We were very pleased with the variety of restaurants and food on the Peninsula. The grocery store closest to the house had less of a selection than the one closer to Placencia. Christine provided a great list of her favorites dining spots. Some of our favorites were The Secret Garden, Mojo Lounge, Cozy Corner and Maya Beach Bistro. The caretaker, Leo, was very helpful. He checked on us multiple times during a storm that came through. And if you happen to be there during a strong storm, as we were, and the power goes out, they get it back up and running fairly quickly! Leo also set up a wonderful snorkeling trip for just the two of us. A great tour guide named Elroy took us to three different Cayes and personally caught lobsters for us as we observed and cooked them for us on Laughing Bird Caye. It was an amazing experience and if you set up trip, definitely request Elroy! We visited the waterfall that Christine suggested in the guest book and it was beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon and were the only people there! One thing I will mention is the temperature of the pool at the house. It is in the shade and it wasn't really very warm. I was ok with the temperature but my husband thought it was too cold, just FYI. Overall it was a wonderful experience!!!
