Excellent location, everything just as described in the listing AND as documented by so many other reviewers. Perfect for our 3 day getaway in a beautiful part of Utah. Definitely going back to this one!
Amazing place! Spectacular views. Complete privacy. Host thought of everything. Perfect base camp for Zion, Bryce and the Dixie National Forest. Stay here, you will not regret it.
This property is really special! If you donât stay here youâll never know what youâre missing. If you do stay here, be sure to fill up the sugar water dispenser on the front porch to make the hummingbirds happy! The location couldnât be better. This was the best stocked Vrbo we have ever stayed at! There are all sorts of gems and fossils and interesting books to look at! The home is enormous and would be great for large groups. I would highly recommend this Vrbo!
It's an amazing place with lots of room to spread out. The house itself is also very secluded and you really feel like you're on a vacation. The location was perfect for seeing multiple places of interest. The property owners are fantastic and very helpful.
We had a great stay! Our host checked in with us several times to make sure we had what we needed. It was a great to have space for our family to relax and enjoy the quiet. We loved having the outdoor space to spend the evenings after the days exploring the parks.
Very nice area. Beautiful windows & decks to check out the views. House is clean, comfy & convenient to parks but be ready for long drives.Fun to watch hummingbirds & deer.
The cabin is very clean. It is stocked very well. Every light switch is labeled which was super helpful. The light breakfast, snacks and coffee are such a thoughtful touch. Communication was quick and easy. Definitely recommend! flexible as well. Would definiThe host
Perfect location to take in both Zion and Bryce. 45 - 50 minutes from either park. Very nicely furnished house. Would definitely stay there again and strongly recommend to others.
Wonderful spot. Fullnkitchen for cooking. Great sun on mountains at sunset. 55 mins from Bryce and Zion start of hikes. And minutes from Grand Staircase Escalante
This is a fantastic place located in a nice quiet area. No congestion like some of the resort towns and has all the amenities you would want. Easy access to Kanab, Bryce, and Zion! Kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Views across the valley at sunset are spectacular. We even did some canyoneering directly across from the home in Ladder Canyon. Can't say enough on how great this place was for our crew. And I would no hesitate to book again! Thanks Marlene
Our group had a wonderful stay in this cozy yet spacious cottage. It really felt like a home that was loved and not just another rental house. The owner was easy to communicate with and the house was clean and tidy. The property is pretty large and fairly secluded but still plenty close to state parks, hiking, and other attractions. Iâd come back just to enjoy the sunrise/sunsets and hummingbird watching! A lovely hidden gem to make your home away from home while on vacation.
Loved the location and the grounds. The host was very accommodating. The main suite was large and very comfortable. The kitchen is a bit cramped when you have more than one person trying to help prepare meals or clean up. Some of the windows seemed like repair may be in order when we tried to open them.
Cozy cabin with space for a family. Well stocked and clean. Property provides some privacy and seclusion. Property manager very easy to communicate with
We very much enjoyed our stay. The property had plenty of room for our family and was very close to Zion and Bryce. We also made the trip down to Grand Canyon. The air conditioning had and issue and the property was prompt to fix even in a weekend. Great communication with owner. Would recommend staying here and hope to stay again someday.
Great location to both parks. Very quite home with so much room for everybody. We spent days in the parks and afternoons and evenings on the deck(s). House was well equipped for everybody and so down to earth. Loved our stay and would go back next time. Host was so accommodating and very responsive.
Large property with nice layout that allows for individual privacy of guests. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly and the pantry was well stocked with items; sugar, spices, olive oil etc. The property is located conveniently between Bryce and Zion. There are both gas and food stores very close. Marlene was very helpful and attentive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Set back from the road on a large lot it was the perfect get away from the bustle of daily life for relaxation and to explore the natural wonder of Zion and Bryce Canyon. From the well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed rooms to the sprawling deck with views of the mountains, local wildlife and stars at night, it checked off all the boxes for a great retreat to experience the beauty of nature. Thank you.
We are a small family of five: Dad Carlos, Mom Marlene, daughter, son, and our precious Sophie-a twelve-year-old Springer Spaniel. We have lived on the coast of southern California for 29 years. Carlos serves as the principal for a local high school and Marlene works for the University of California. Our son and daughter love the outdoors, especially hiking, rock climbing, and scuba diving. Sophie is in charge of keeping us smiling and makes sure to keep the family healthy by taking us on walks. Our family works hard, has ups and downs, and strives to celebrate and enjoy life. We feel truly grateful for the everyday blessings and miracles in our lives.
We have visited Utah at least three times a year. We love the area and the people are very friendly. We are so excited to have been able to make this area a permanent part of our lives. After 24 years we still find this area magical and we discover something new each time we are there. We are very lucky to be the second owners of this cabin. The previous owners were Omer and Anita Mullen. The Mullen's first started with a small one-bedroom cabin but with time they added to their cabin until they made it into a full three-bedroom plus one open loft bedroom/rec room home. The cabin has a peculiar layout that allows for privacy and also has an eclectic feel. For example one of the rooms is an actual room from the old Zion lodging. Parts of the room and door were purchased when the Zion lodge was remodeled many years ago. We look forward to restoring the home to a full cabin experience and at the same time honoring the hard work, eclectic style, and love that the Mullen's put into their home.
We love this location because it is right at the heart of Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon. The night skies, red cliffs, inspiring hikes, tranquility of the area, and spectacular sunrises are a true gift to the senses and this can be experienced without leaving the cabin...a home away from home.
