First impression was that this home seemed "lived-in" with some of owners' personal belongings and wasn't "hotel-clean". But the great natural light, comfortable beds, and charming authentic features of this historic home made us feel glad we didn't choose to stay in a hotel. There were five of us, including three teenagers, and everyone had their own space. Loved the large dining table to play cards and games, and window seat in the same room was spacious and comfortable. The wi-fi is dependable, and there are all the comforts of home including air-conditioning in all bedrooms, hair dryers, lots of plush towels, large washer/dryer, fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, even Amazon's Alexa! It was nice to be able to park right in front of the house and come home with the porch light on. Suggestions for 5 star rating: better instructions for high tech stove and oven, cleaner refrigerator and oven, air-conditioning on the main level instead of free-standing fan and removing clutter from bedroom drawers and closets to accommodate guests' belongings. I was reluctant to use coffee maker and tea kettle because they were not cleaned. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, appreciated the charming neighborhood and found owners to be warm and attentive when we reached out to them.
