Stunning and Spacious 6 BR Waterfront House with Hot Tub
A beautiful craftsman-style home with water views, comfort and character! This three story house features six bedrooms, three bathrooms, ample common spaces, and fully outfitted kitchen. Each of the three living areas (one of which has a gas fireplace) is fully wired for sound with stereos, turntables, and records. Just minutes from Portland's Old Port, the house commands sweeping water views of Casco Bay and the Presumpscot River. There is plenty of on-site parking. Guests will enjoy the screened porch and private patio--with plenty of comfortable seating areas--large hot tub and yard.
We stayed for a group trip to Portland and this was the perfect spot. Location is fantastic, lots of comfortable sleeping options, and great communication from the host. Highly recommend!
Very clean, lots of room for gathering. Perfect location on a quiet street with great views of the lake. Plenty of towels, bedding, water, etc. Would come back!
We had a great weekend celebrating our friend for her bachelorette! The house was perfect! Very clean, plenty of beds and bedrooms. It also is a quick uber ride away from old port. Meghan is a great host and i would highly recommended staying at this house. I would certainly go back! Thank you for having us!
The house was absolutely beautiful and easily fit our group of nine people. Meghan was quick to respond and communicated with us throughout our trip. I would easily book another stay at this Vrbo.
We had the best stay in Portland! Thank you for sharing your home with us. This house was wonderful for our group of 14. Meghan was a great host and even shipped us something we left at the house after our stay!
A very comfortable place to stay with 7 adults and 2 babies. Kitchens well equipped and lots of space to spread out. We loved the hot tub and watching the 4th of July fireworks from our front yard. 30-min walk to Mackworth Island which we enjoyed.
This was a great house for our annual girl's weekend. The three floors gave us room to spread out and also large and comfy spaces to come together as a group of 10. Kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to make meals and clean up easily. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed and clean. Hot tub was a nice extra. House is on a main street but noise was minimal and nice views of the water on both sides of the house. We used uber to get back and forth to Portland and that worked well. We loved Portland, had a lot to offer for shopping, holiday events, and great food!
Host was easy and helpful and great communication all along the way.
Beautiful, clean house that is perfect for a large group
I stayed here with a large group of friends and this space perfectly accommodated us. There are 3 main sections of the house: downstairs with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath; main floor with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath; upstairs with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The hot tub and outside patio area was AWESOME! Highly recommend staying here.
This property was perfect for our family trip. We had plenty of room to spread out. This property has games for all ages, beach chairs, toys, and towels. The kitchen was the perfect place to cook meals. The hot tub was wonderful. The location is only 10 minutes from the airport. I have had several texts with the owner and they have been great. I canât say enough good things about this property!
We stayed at this property July 2021. It was perfect for our family of 12! We especially loved the kitchen/dining area on the first floor! We were able to comfortably gather and have family game nights.
The property is well maintained and was very clean. Location is perfect for getting to all the sights in Portland and neighboring sites. Meghan was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely rent from her again!
Or big family of 9 including 2 toddlers loved this beautiful home. The separated living spaces made it easy to gather even when the babies were sleeping without disturbing them. Meghan was so thoughtful and quick to communicate when I had concerns about Hurricane Lee. They even gathered up flashlights and put them all in a basket on the kitchen table so weâd have them handy if the power went out!
Thanks for a great stay!
The location was great for easy access to Portland without being in the bustle of the city. Home was close to a busy road (Alexaâs music was a nice choice to drown out the road noise). Hot tub was wonderful, but not very accessible from main part of house and although it was fenced for privacy, the neighborâs property looked right into it. Nice hiking trails nearby. Our favorite feature was the beautiful fireplace which we used every night when gathering to play games as a family. Homeowner was helpful and responsive to questions.
We had an awesome family weekend staying here! We had 8 adults and 3 kids stay. House is set up like a multi family home with a 2 bed/1 bath apartment upstairs away from the main central space downstairs (with small kitchen and a living room with TV included in apartment). We spent most of our time on the main level which has the open living room/ dining room / side room area with the trundle bed. There is a large bedroom on this floor as well and the trundle room has doors to close it off as a room. The basement had 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom downstairs which was perfect for our 2 kids to sleep down here and not hear anything. The main floor living area does not have a TV. Itâs an older house so not a ton of outlets which is random to write but an extension cord would have been helpful. The hot tub was awesome! There were a bunch of robes and slip on sandals and towels for hot tub. location was 5 minute drive from downtown, The house is on a main road, but the water views from both sides were really pretty, We went sledding at payson park which was very fun and just a few minute drive away. Recommend a tube sled and goggles for that hill. :) definitely recommend staying here! :)
This lovely old Maine home, with its modern updates, was very much as our family of 12 pictured. The bedrooms were large and the house was well supplied. Our four granddaughters (ages 2 through 11) referred to it as âThe Mansionâ and were so excited to have private areas to talk and play. Everyone loved being able to watch sailboats and wildlife out our front windows and it was a great area to get in a morning walk. Even though we were on the go, visiting as much of the area as we could each day, we loved relaxing in the hot tub/ patio area in the evenings.
The location was another huge asset. Proximity to the interstate, grocery stores, coffee shops, and all of the downtown port areas was perfect! (The airport was 11 minutes away.) We highly recommend Portland and this beautiful home. These Cornhuskers hope to return some day!
Meghan went above and beyond for us. The house was beautiful and clean. Meghan was so easy to communicate with and had easy to follow instructions for everything.
We wanted a place for a multigenerational family gathering and this was perfect! Single level living for the oldest with only a few steps to get in. Plenty of parking and loads to do both in and near the house with easy access to all.
We had 14 people of friends and family, some that had never met. There was an abundance of room living spaces bathrooms. Everyone had plenty of space we had a great time.
We rented this entire home for 4 small families to use, and it was absolutely perfect, with multiple areas to lounge. Both kitchens are very well equipped; beds are very comfortable; and the hot tub was lovely after a long day of hiking (or shopping, for some of us.) Proximity to major highways made it easy for us to get to Portland and Freeport. The morning view out onto the bay was magical. We would love to stay at this property again. 10/10!
My house is located at the junction of the Presumpscot River and Casco Bay. There are water views from nearly every room. It is a quick trip (5 minutes/2 miles) into the Old Port area of Portland. There are also great places just down the street -- ice cream, a juice bar, etc.-- an easy walk from the house.
My house has a lot of character. It is a craftsman home built over 100 years ago with many original details intact. There is a lot of room for guests to spread out in the multiple common areas, including the fenced patio and hot tub.
