Nest Hiboux est une escapade romantique parfait pour un anniversaire ou lune de miel ou un séjour au calme pour une petite famille. Bienvenue à bord du lac une expérience vraiment spéciale sur les rives du lac de Deep Creek. Cette maison est située sur une péninsule sans trafic de transit à l'extrémité ouest du lac Cette propriété tranquille propose près de 100 pieds de l'exposition ouest au bord du lac (superbes couchers de soleil) dans une crique tranquille avec un grand quai privé en eau profonde.

Il ya deux chambres et une salle de bains. Cette maison dort 4 et lits comprennent un lit queen, et 2 lits jumeaux. La grande salle a un plan d'étage ouvert, poêle à bois, Smart TV et lecteur DVD Blue Ray, je lit Queen et 1 Twin canapé. En outre, il ya une laveuse / sécheuse, et un jacuzzi. La maison dispose d'une excellente eau potable (raccordée à l'eau de la ville en février 2018) et comprend une cuisine entièrement équipée et des appareils en acier inoxydable, ainsi qu'un gril extérieur au gaz propane pour la cuisine. Restez en contact avec l'accès haut débit et sans fil gratuit, y compris un ordinateur, un câble satellite / étendu. Comprend un laissez-passer quotidien gratuit pour 6 personnes à la piscine intérieure et au centre de remise en forme du Centre de loisirs aquatiques communautaires du Collège.

Déplacez la amuser à l'extérieur sur le pont, bain à remous, quai ou foyer (bois fourni). Guimauves rôties ou font usage d'une variété de DVD ou les jeux actuels pour une agréable soirée. N'oubliez pas la télévision par câble dans chaque chambre et le Wi-Fi gratuit, le système de divertissement Super Nintendo SNES Classic Edition entièrement chargé avec 21 jeux, une structure de jeu extérieure et un panier de basket. Pêchez de la basse du quai, amarrez votre bateau, votre vélo, votre kayak, votre baignade ou l'hiver, votre ski, votre snowboard ou votre snow tubing à la station de ski Wisp située à quelques minutes et amusez-vous.

Draps et serviettes sont fournis. Les lits sont habillés et suspendre les serviettes sans supplément. Le nettoyage est fourni à l'enregistrement et au départ. La maison est personnellement nettoyé et entretenu par le propriétaire. Lorsque vous arrivez, vous serez accueillis par shampooing et revitalisant, savons sur les éviers, serviette en papier, serviettes, sacs poubelles, et le papier de toilette supplémentaire. Bois de chauffage et les matchs sont disponibles gratuitement pour le feu de camp ou poêle à bois. Un kayak, un canoë, une barque à rames, une planche à pagaie et un assortiment de gilets de sauvetage sont à la disposition des clients. The owners were still there when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. They were nice enough to show us the property and how everything worked before they departed. The cabin although small was perfect for us. The owners really care about their guests by providing many amenities and activities for the guests they even included their personal touch like a fantasy garden to walk through. The place was clean the hot tub very easy to operate. We spent a lot of time just reading and relaxing on the dock which is perfect for boating and kayaking all needed items were supplied. It is easy to see when the host cares about their guests and at OWLS NEST one knows that they do. Cant wait to return.

My stay at the Owl's Nest was a pleasant one. The rental was well stocked with everything I needed and much, much more. Despite some rainy weather there was still plenty to do and the hot tub was excellent. I highly recommend this rental and will let my friends know about my wonderful experience.

Great attention to detail. This is (as listed) a very small cabin, but let me telll you, every square inch is used in the best way.It was just my husband, my nephew and me. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Even had some deer walk into the yard not 10 feet from where I was sitting.The hot tub is super clean and inviting. And you MUST go visit Swallow Falls.I can't say enough how beautiful this lake area is. We will be back.Oh, and David and Pearle are great hosts!

This was an exceptional rental. Although the house is small every space was used to the fullest! Everything needed for cooking, and cleaning was available! The house was clean and super comfortable. The firepit, whimsical gardens.. outstanding! Kayaks and canoes were available to use off your own dock. Sitting in the Adirondack chairs that were on the dock in the morning was a most enjoyable way to have my morning coffee. The owner was most personable and quickly responded to a question. Our stay was truly amazing, exceeding a 5 Star rating!!

Perfect Getaway for Kayaking and Fishing

This is our second stay at Owl’s Nest. The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and have fun. The cove is quiet and offers great fishing and wildlife viewing. I was lucky to see an otter swim by which made my day. David and Pearle are very accommodating and responsive.

Perfect Place - Pictures Don’t Do Justice!

This place was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at. The location is great, the house and amenities are great, the private dock is perfect, etc. This is great for a couple or smaller families. We kayaked, went fishing off dock, went in hot tub, played board games, and even rented a boat for a day.Cannot say enough about how accommodating and helpful they were, too! Definitely want to stay again!

Owl’s Nest vacation

The Owl’s nest property is beautifully decorated with a unique walking path. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with everything you could need. Communication with the owners was excellent. They provided detailed info on the surrounding area’s restaurants, parks and other amenities. We met the hosts upon arrival and they could not have been more helpful.

Hidden Gem of Fun and Wonder!

Took my girlfriend here to celebrate her birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the quaintness of the property. TONS of fun games here to play together. Also, if you have little kids, this is the perfect place to come with some little ones to get into a world of fun and games. Definitely would recommend!

Perfect place on the lake!

The Owl’s Nest is the perfect place to stay on the lake! The property had everything you could need! We were blown away by all the yard games that were available. The hot tub was clean and the dock was perfect to hangout after a long day! We look forward to our next stay at the Owl’s Nest!

Perfection by the Lake

Owl's Nest was the sweetest little cabin for a minibreak. The house was incredibly well stocked (best pans and kitchen supplies i have EVER seen in a rental). We enjoyed our Easter in the small cabin - watching storms roll in on Sat and Monday. And taking the owners advice and visiting Swallow Falls for a hike on Easter Sunday. The hot tub was clean and nice. The outdoor seating was lovely (and the weather meant we took advantage of the outside area a lot).

Peaceful getaway!

My family of 4 absolutely loved staying at the Owls Nest. It was everything we needed to be able to enjoy a few days away! Our kiddos loved fishing off the dock and going out in the kayaks, to playing all the available yard games and ending the days relaxing in the hottub! We cant wait to go back!!

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Owl's Nest. We were able to check in early because the host communicated when the property was ready. The cabin is clean, cozy and packed with amenities and fun! We played basketball, kayaked, completed a beautiful wooden puzzle, enjoyed 2 family movies and most importantly relaxed! This was our 2nd spring break trip to the Owl's Nest and we look forward to booking again! Thank you!!

Home away from home

Owls Nest is a true gem. Comfortable and complete. The hosts had everything necessary to have a carefree vacation! Clothing and food is all that’s needed to bring. We loved all the artwork and pieces made by the host and family. We visited the trail walk and garden three times and found something new each visit! Take the time to really look, you’ll be impressed! The furniture was comfortable and we slept very well. They had the dock in the water for us and the views and sunset from there were really relaxing. We look forward to spending time here in warmer weather to enjoy the kayaks and some swimming. The play ground equipment would be very enjoyable for young children. The hosts truly go above and beyond for our comfort and joy! Also got to see a great sunset from the comfort of the hot tub

Owls Nest is a quiet, cozy cabin on Deep Creek Lake. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing mountain getaway! They provided us with detailed information about the surrounding area including excellent recommendations for nearby dining, sight seeing, etc. I would highly recommend Owls Nest whether you are a couple seeking a romantic getaway or a family looking for a fun vacation! We had an amazing weekend and look forward to returning!

Vous êtes reçu par David and Pearle Howell

Come kayak with us. We leave 4 kayaks, 2 canoes, and 2 paddle boards for your use. We have had many happy travelers visit the Owls Nest and enjoy our quiet cove. My Canadian wife gets her skiing 'fix' at nearby Wisp. Our Canadian hobbies of wood carving and playing bagpipes show up in our decor of family made wood carvings, and bagpiper Christmas trees. We personally maintain and clean the home before and after each booking. We have many years of experience renting the Owls Nest. We try to be flexible with move-in and move-out times.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought this property because of the western exposure of the lakefront, location at the end of a peninsula with no drive-thru traffic, and clean, deep lake water on a quiet cove. The property is four miles from Lodestone and 6 miles from Wisp Ski Resort and offers year-round enjoyment. The lakefront location is perfect for all water sports. Our cove is out of the lake boat traffic. We provide canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and life jackets to use at your own risk. Deepwater off our own dock is suitable for swimming and diving. Renters can dock boat(s), trailer parking on site.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our intent is “safer than home”.
• Our property is our own separate lot, yard, decks, docks and hot tub
• Our dock is not shared with anybody. Use of our four kayaks, two canoes, two paddle boards is year round. Dock must be out of water December 1 - April 1.
• Our outdoor fire pit has starter bundle of firewood for your use.
• The Owls Nest has a private play structure, which is pressure washed often.
• Our hot tub water is fully (usually), or partially, changed with every rental. Owners have MD Commercial Pool/Hot Tub license. Instead of continually adding chemicals, we change water. We have changed to a more positive sanitizing schedule, based on bromine and dichlor based shock.
Safe lane for young bikers.

Between renters……
The cabin is completely misted inside with 4% Hydrogen Peroxide as renter leaves..
• All bedding is washed, between renters, not just sheets.
• CDC cleaning guidance is being followed. We sanitize All surfaces, including leather sofas, chairs, dressers, tables with Lysol.
• Bathroom and kitchen appliances, All remotes, TV, DVD, fans, heaters/ AC, phone, computer monitor, keyboard and mouse are wiped with Lysol
• We have our own dry foam carpet cleaner, at the cabin.
The hour before the new renter comes in, the cabin, is misted again with 4 % hydrogen peroxide. All surfaces are re-fogged, with 4% hydrogen peroxide.

Local Restaurants now offer eat in, take- out and delivery. Outdoor eating is now common. Grocery stores in McHenry and Oakland (Walmart) have abundant food. Deep Creek Beveridge liquor store has a drive through and inside sales..
State parks are accessible for hiking. The Owls Nest allows you a safe, space and satisfying recreational activity, without having to having to engage in risky interpersonal contact.
