Fun on the lake

This was our third year at this property. Perfect for a group of people or family. Lovely backyard that backs up to the lake. Fun game room in the house. Looking forward to going back in 2025.

Girl’s Weekend!

Six of us have stayed at this wonderful home multiple times since 2018 and it has always been clean, comfortable and welcoming for our Girl’s Weekend! Larry is a wonderful host and has made improvements year over year. We look forward to being here again in 2025!

Family Delight

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying this delightful property. The home had things to do for all ages and watching the fish feed on the lake was an early morning delight. Definitely recommend this property to all!

Family vacation

This is a repeat stay for us, and we'll likely be back next year. The house is comfortable, kitchen has necessities for fixing a meal for family. The dining room seats 6 easily, and there are extra chairs in the home. The pool table is always a hit for my boys, and the swimming area in the lake is enjoyable in the warm weather. The house is air conditioned, and the master bedroom has a ceiling fan (and a king sized bed). We love the serenity and tranquility of this location. And THIS year, I didn't capsize in the kayak. (Do a You Tube search for how to do a kayak launch from a boat ramp and save yourself the lake baptism!!)

Amazing Stay!

This was an amazing house for our weekend stay! Comfortable and cozy making you feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and lacking nothing; plenty of extra bedding and towels. The kitchen has everything needed and even a great variety of seasonings. The yard was amazing with a view that was hard to beat. The communication prior to and during the stay was awesome! Thanks for an incredible stay and we'd love to come and stay again!

Perfect Place

This was our groups 2nd stay at this location. Can't say enough good things about the house, the yard is so well taken care of down to the river. Everything was fully stocked. And it was nice to have a little bouquet of flowers and a bottle of apple cider to greet us. Looking forward to next year.

Amazing! Already booked for next year!

I have to be honest, I’ve stayed in a lot of homestays, and more often than not, the description is a little overstated for what the property is. However, this is not the case here. The property is beautiful! So much space to be out in the yard and have fun near the beach, a dock that easily hosts a boat, in a very quiet area of the lake. We were treated to a very clean and hospitable home that sits on a large piece of land. There were more things there, than were disclosed, so that’s always pleasant to see. I could go on and on, but bottom line, we booked the day after we left. This family has owned this property since day one, and the pride they show in it is evident. The communication with Larry before, during, and afterwards was nothing short of an amazing experience. Stoked for next year!

Lake house

Great place to stay. Unable to swim off dock due to lots of seaweed. But a short paddle away from shore great swimming. Comfortable rooms. Had everything we needed. We would go back again.

Great house on lake with private boat launch.

House was very roomy with our party of 4. We really enjoyed the views of the trees, lake & bald eagles. Boat ramp was great to have for launching the boat & taking it out of the water every day. I only wish the dock had tie up cleats and bumpers for the boat. Some days it gets windy, and we were unable to tie the boat up to the dock.

Family Time

Great location for our family gathering to meet our new grandson. The home provided a comfortable meeting spot. We especially enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace with lots of dry firewood. The owner was very communicative and responsive to our questions.

Relaxing Lake House

We have stayed here twice and plan to return again. My wife and I are 60 and this is a home like we each grew up in. Great location where we can have our boat tied to the dock out front. The grandkids love kayaking or riding their bikes. A great place for relaxing with family.

Fall Family Fishing Stay

Loved the place! The dock, pool table, and high thread count sheets really were my favorites. The boat launch were my son's and husband's favorite. This may turn into the fall get together for the family. The kitchen reminded me of my grandmothers! Very well stocked.

Another good week

Came back again this year. Weather was hot but able to cool off in the lake. Plenty of options to paddle board, kayak or swim. Kitchen stocked well to host a lot of people. Fun family evenings playing games including the pool table or enjoying the sunset. Thank you.

This property was perfect for our group of long-time friends. We are a group of "girl friends" that have been getting together for over thirty years and this place had all the room we could ask for. The house was great, the beach & yard were awesome and Betty, the property manager, was so helpful!

Girl’s weekend

Our fourth year at this property and we couldn’t have had a better time! The weather and wild fires cooperated so we had clear, cool smoke-free evenings after a day enjoying the water and sunbathing. The house has everything we need and we just relax and enjoy!

We offer for our guests use, 3 kayaks, two paddle board, various yard games a private dock, boat launch and a mooring buoy for water sports and fishing. Long Lake is a sports fishermans dream with a large variety of fish and tournament level fishing.
