Literally ski right to the back porch. Great location. Short walk to the village vs properties further up the hill where the walk down the slope can be cumbersome.
After a rocky start, Peter was on top of making sure everything was taken care of. Once we got in to the room and settled in, we were very pleased with the accommodations. If you're a skier, this is a perfect location. It is truly a ski-in/ski-out. It's also an easy walk to Blackcomb village and Whistler village.
Modern inside and location of unit allowed me to see friends skiing in/out of adjacent Greystone and Woodrun. Ski/Board rentals available on property along with valet. Absolutely loved it!
Love everything about this property! Location is perfect on Blackcomb, spotless apartment with everything you need, excellent communication from owner. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved our time here! Ski in and ski out was great and we were so thankful to have great patio views! We are already planning on coming back next year. Thanks again!
This unit was perfect for our family of 4 with two children. Location ski in-ski out was terrific. Pool and hot tubs were great. LED lighting in the unit could be adjusted⊠a bit too âneonâ bright⊠but thatâs our only complaint!
The condo looks out on the ski run and is at the end of the hall - giving it a nice view and making it quieter (no noise from people walking in ski boots in the hallway). The location just above the main Blackcomb gondola is ideal.
The location is amazing for in-out skiing on Blackcomb. Everything was very clean and just as described. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked. Peter arranged a mid stay cleanup which was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the extensible couch was good for our 9 years old daughter. We will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed the convenience of Blackcomb without the noise of whistler. The apartment is cosy and fine for 2 adults. The photos are accurate and the owner is easy to communicate with. We would return here
Our family spent 3 nights in this 1 BR unit in August of 2014 and it completely exceeded our expectations. The unit itself is in great condition and has an excellent layout with the king size bed. The pull out sofa bed is real comfortable and offers an additional area to sleep. We were surprised with how close the unit was to the blackcomb village as it was only a 2 minute walk down to the base. The unit, and the complex, are in very good condition. We will be back for sure.
First off the place was great. Clean, well appointed, comfortable, and was a super easy experience booking with Peter.
The Aspens is a great complex and is my preferred location within Whistler. The Aspens has everything you need for a comfortable visit, pools for the kids, multiple jacuzzis, great location right above Blackcomb Village, easy to get to by walk, bike or car. Love it.
The condo itself was also fantastic, but the location......
Im not sure....
Its on the corner of the building right on the mountain, so the Good parts are: You get really nice views from the living room, and can look right out to the mountain, gondola, village, etc. Where the unit is located is SUPER easy to access from both the parking garage, and and in out to the pool or out to the trails. This is waaay convenient, especially if you are lugging stuff in and out. Its super easy to access.
The Bad parts are: Because you are right on the mountain, you have people walking up and down the path to the village ALL day & night. They are basically 10 meters away. Soooo - its not private, and its loud - ALL day & night.
Dont get me wrong, I would stay there agin, BUT if you are looking for private and quiet, this is good to know.
Situated right next to the lower slope at Blackcomb this compact apartment is an easy walk into the villages or a direct ski into or down to the Gondolas. It was well equipped with Kitchen utensils, glasses, crockery etc plus a dish washer. The TV did not pick up any cable channels during our stay but as we always carry a Firestick this didnât trouble us. The sofa in the lounge is a trifle hard but is a sofa bed, so perhaps to be expected. The bed was comfortable enough although some additional linen would have been appreciated. The bedroom window is right next to the piste so be aware that the âpiste-bashersâ work through the night, so their bright lights shine through the venetian blinds and are a little noisy when they pass by. The underground car park for the complex was welcome and the stairwell to it is super close to the front door although we thought the charges at $25 per day were expensive. Would imagine that it gets a fair amount of utilisation which shows in the detail as the apartment is looking a little tired in places. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the apartment and The Aspens complex, it had everything we needed right there.
The Aspens is ideally located with instant access to the mountain and is minutes from biking trails, lakes, golf and all that Whistler Village has to offer.
While staying at The Aspens, we enjoy swimming in the year round heated pool and relaxing in one of the three hot tubs. There is also a newly renovated fitness room in the complex. There is ski in, ski out access during the winter season with easy access to ski lifts and the ski school. Lost Lake, biking trails and the village are just minutes away.
