Clean and cozy for a couple. Kitchen very well appointed and had everything we needed. Only downside is that it is not a true "ski in/out" since we needed to cross a road to get to the slopes. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location with pretty good ski-in ski-out on the paths across the road from the condo building. short walk down the slope to Blackcomb base. Bus stops very close. Basic condo with well equipped kitchen. I would stay there again.
The place we stayed in was perfect for us. Small clean, very close to ski areas. We walked everywhere one day. Fantastic. VRBO helped us very quickly when we had a small glitch. Thanks again for all your help. Vic & Sandra
cute condo. small space for 4 people but we managed. communication with property managers was excellent. location is excellent - just a short walk to lifts.
on the downside - we had to request fresh sheets as there was a stain on ours. management was really good at responding and had fresh sheets sent but we did have to remake the bed ourselves. not a biggy but also not expected.
there is definately visible water damage on ceiling and floors by the windows. dehumidifier in the bedroom for this problem i assume was really loud. we shut it off while we were there and turned it back on when we were out.
overall - cute condo and great location as stated but I don't think I'd choose this particular condo again.
My family of 4 enjoyed this gem of a place. Its a short walk to the Blackcomb gondola and many other places. Hottub, sauna were great too. The toaster broke & was replaced within 12 hours so service levels were amazing. Like the other review said, this is not a 1.5 bath. It's 1 full bathroom with an extra sink in the master. Would recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at the Marquise 206. The bus stop was very convenient right at the end of the driveway. The unit was nice and decorated as the pictures show. It is not 1.5 baths. There is a full bath with a deep tub which is nice. What they considered a half bath was a sink/vanity in the bedroom. We were very disappointed with that. There was ice on the inside of the window sills in the living room and the sliding glass door to the balcony. As it melted, the floor in the living room and one side of the bed was completely wet. They must know this occurs because there was a dehumifider in the bedroom which we assumed was to resolve that issue. The kitchen was well stocked (kitchenware and cooking supplies). We were impressed with the cable/internet package and access to a wide range of channels/options. It was very convenient to have laundry in the building along with the ski storage in the lower levels. It was a very quick walk to Merlin's run on the Blackcomb side of the mountain and the path to the shops/amenities at Blackcomb base. When we return to Whistler, we'd gladly stay at this property again, but would avoid doing so during peak periods due to the cost. Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations was very responsive to email, phone, and text. We arrived to Whistler 4 hours before check-in and they made arrangements at a nearby property for us to store our luggage until check-in time.
