Property is as advertised... spacious, clean, 3 min from Old Forge, decorated beautifully, kitchen well equipped, many activities in the area.

We had four adults staying, and the property was more than enough space. It was clean, and the location was perfect, close to town and the golf course. Shawn was very responsive and accommodating.

ADK Vacation at it's best

My family has been going to Old Forge for several years now and this place is by far the best we have stayed at. It is extremely accommodating and very clean! We will most definitely be staying here again. I'm ready to book for next year!

Fathers Day Weekend

Great place, well kept and clean. Bikes and kayaks were awesome. Very nice location on Moose River and accessible.

Fantastic camp

Stayed here with my 2 kids. We went hiking to the lock and dam, plus bald mountain. They bikes and kayaks on site were perfect, and moose river is right outside. Host was awesome. Would stay again!!!

Gorgeous property!

It’s nice that it’s close to town, but the street was incredibly busy. Had deer and duck visitors and that was pretty cool!

We are thankful you visited us. Also glad to hear the wildlife paid you a visit. Moose River Trail is one of the most scenic streets in Old Forge and always popular with runners, bicyclists, and walkers, and does see increased traffic in September from the leaf peepers! We hope to see you again soon.

This was our second time staying at Moose Haven and it was perfect once again! The house is spacious and clean. The location is great, perfect for taking walks. We love Old Forge and highly recommend Moose Haven.

My wife and I have a great weekend stay at Moose Haven, the property was very clean on arrival, spacious and gave us that "Adirondack Cabin" feelimg we were looking for, the property is located just minutes from main street old forge. 10/10

We stayed here over Thanksgiving week with our five children, my husband, and my mother, and the home was perfect for our family. There was ample space for everyone, great seating, and a spacious kitchen with an island and plenty of room to cook and gather.We opted for the linen service add-on. The linens were provided but not placed on the beds. We arrived late and ended up having to make the beds ourselves—not a big issue, but something future guests may want to know for planning purposes. (To be fair, I didn’t ask for specifics ahead of time.)The house itself was clean, welcoming, and incredibly close to everything in Old Forge. We absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future.

Excellent!

MooseHaven is in a great location with a view of Moose River. It's very clean and has all the comforts of home. The well stocked kitchen will even keep a gourmet cook happy. The futon beds under the bunk beds are a little difficult to sleep on (hard as a rock). So I suggest you bring a mattress topper for better comfort. The other beds a comfortable. I'm going back in the fall with family and look forward to it. Thank you Shawn for being so accommodating. Your camp home gets an A+ from me!

Lovely Stay in Old Forge

My family gathered here for a long weekend, and we very comfortably slept and entertained 8 people for 3 nights. The kitchen and general amenities were all fully functioning, allowing us to stay indoors during an unplanned rainy day, and still have plenty to do. We cooked full meals, enjoyed the provided board games and general family time, read books, watched a movie, napped when we felt like it.... It was precisely the kind of getaway we wanted. When the weather improved, we were able to enjoy the onsite kayaks and easy river access. There were several hiking trail heads nearby, which we did not use due to time. Old Forge town center was only a mile away, so grocery and supply shopping was a breeze. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! My only comment is that had I not read the agreement closely, i would not have realised that i had to bring my own bedsheets. This was not difficult to do, but it wasn’t clear to me in the original listing. That minor complaint isn't enough to dimish our wonderful experience. Highly recommended, would book again.

We had a great stay at MooseHaven! The place was very cozy and well decorated with Moose and Adirondack flair. The Moose River across the street is very scenic. We hiked Bald Mt and visited the View Art Center in town which had the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors on display. It was a highlight of our trip.We visited Nick Lake at sunset. A beautiful area and fun town! Shawn was great!

House is great. Clean and as described. Location very convenient to all activities. Kitchen very well supplied. Owner highly responsive. Only possible negative comment is the kayaks were very dirty/dried mud. Thinking whoever used them last did not clean them, so we did not use them. But, that’s not a reflection on the property or owner.

Cozy Adirondack Camp

This was our second time staying at Moose Haven and it was wonderful! Close to Water Safari, shops, movie theater, and dining! Camp is on the Moose River. My favorite was sitting on the wrap around porch with my morning coffee!

Great house in a quiet area but close to everything. Plenty of beds and 2 baths. Large kitchen, dining area and living room. Excellent communication with the host. Perfect for a golf trip to ADK.

Excellent Property & Location

We can’t say enough about this home! Warm, Comfortable and Spacious with easy access to town, walking trails, hiking, biking and kayaking!!! You can relax in style in the charming family room or walk outdoors to any number of adventures! Although there are lots of great eateries in walking distance, it’s nice to eat in too! The kitchen offered everything you could possibly need and more! The Communication with the owner was fantastic! We will definitely return! THANK YOU!!!

The cottage was very nice and cozy! The beds were wonderful! The furniture was comfy and the location is perfect! Beautiful view of Moose River and close to town! Owner communications were great! He checked on us to see if we needed anything. Great place!

Wonderful Fall getaway

The house is roomy and delightful. Very clean, great location and accommodated our family of 7 very easily. The kayaks and bikes available made our stay perfect! Will definitely stay here again.

Fall get away

Beautiful Adirondack cabin! Cozy and comfortable living room with fireplace! Immaculate! Plenty of room! Loved sitting on porch looking at Moose River. Great location close to shops. Directions were easy to follow.
