Vous vous sentirez détendu et à la maison dès que vous traverserez votre entrée privée à Ferry Walk House. Promenez-vous dans le patio du jardin, rempli de fleurs en été et entrez par les portes françaises. À l'intérieur, vous vous retrouverez dans un espace de vie spacieux et lumineux de 750 pieds carrés.

Ferry Walk House est équipé à un niveau élevé, conçu pour anticiper vos besoins en fournissant tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter pour un séjour confortable. Des articles de toilette, un sèche-cheveux, des peignoirs et des serviettes de plage sont fournis en standard.

Il y a des salles à manger à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, un salon avec un confortable canapé en L, deux fauteuils et une cheminée, une télévision de 50 "avec Netflix et TSN, et un bureau pour ordinateurs portables.

Une grande laveuse et sécheuse sont dans la suite et un fer et une planche à repasser sont fournis. La cuisine entièrement équipée a beaucoup d'espace de comptoir et tout ce dont vous aurez besoin, jusqu'aux cuillères à mesurer !! Les bases, comme le thé, le café, les assaisonnements sont standard, ainsi que le papier d'aluminium, les produits en papier, etc.

La salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire pleine grandeur avec douche et vous pouvez profiter de serviettes moelleuses, de peignoirs en éponge et d'articles de toilette.

Il s'agit d'une suite d'une chambre avec une deuxième chambre adjacente. Les deux chambres partagent un mur commun et lorsque la porte intérieure est ouverte entre les chambres, les clients ont accès à tout le rez-de-chaussée de la maison. Les deux chambres ont des matelas de haute qualité.

La 2ème chambre a une télévision avec Netflix et un bureau en taille réelle pour un ordinateur portable ou un espace de travail. Cette chambre dispose d'une grande baie vitrée donnant sur un paisible jardin anglais. La 2ème chambre est disponible lorsqu'il y a plus de deux personnes, ou moyennant un supplément si deux personnes ont besoin de chambres séparées.

En été, vous pouvez ouvrir les portes françaises et vous détendre dans le patio privé du jardin. Un barbecue à gaz est fourni.

Profitez d'un film Netflix sur le téléviseur à écran plat de 50 pouces ou utilisez Internet haute vitesse avec WIFI. Vous trouverez de nombreux livres à lire et une variété de jeux de société et de cartes. Des livres et des jouets pour les petits enfants sont également disponibles.

Lorsque votre lit appelle, vous pouvez glisser entre des draps doux et frais, séchés en ligne en été et conserver la saveur de l'air frais.

Ferry Walk House est respectueux de l'environnement. Installations de recyclage fournies. Seuls des produits de nettoyage organiques naturels sont utilisés.

Great place to stay in Horseshoe Bay!

Very happy with our stay, the place was just as nice as it appears in the pictures, Valerie was fabulous, going out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for, and we loved that we could do our laundry in the suite, I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful place to stay!

Our family of 3 enjoyed the comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The location is perfect for quick walks to the coffee shops, stores and restaurants. Nice trails around town to walk the dog too. Valerie is a wonderful host and was very quick to respond to any question or request we had. We look forward to staying again.

Horseshoe Bay is delightful and gorgeous! This house is close to everything and just steps from the ferry. The Sea safari was spectacular, saw humpback whales! Don’t miss Bowen Island great food at Doc Morgans. A great place to stay!!!

Wonderful host, great base location to explorer Vancouver and Whistler

Valerie is a wonderful host, she will make you feel like home and more! My family of 3 loved staying here. It was a great base to take tours of Vancouver, and to explorer everything between Horseshoe Bay and Whistler - that path has a lot to offer! Right next to ferry to Vancouver Island - do not miss that! We hope to come back one day and stay with Valerie again.

Everything you need at your fingertips

I love the fact, that the hiking trails were so close, the ferry and ocean also, right there.. A short drive to a great grocery store. or more restaurant options.. The unit was outfitted with absolutely everything a person could need.

Comfortable and best location

We were totally satisfied with our stay at Ferry Walk House. It's updated, has air conditioning, comfortable, and has all the necessities and includes a private outdoor patio garden area. Valerie is friendly and very responsive to any questions. The location is beautiful and convenient! The ferry is right there, buses can take you into the city, and shops, stores, and restaurants are all within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Vancouver.

Excellent for touring Vancouver area

Very beautiful area with great restaurants, outstanding scenery and well located to visit area sites with car like Whistler, Squamish, and Vancouver area. 2 minute walk to the ferries to visit other locations. The unit is clean, well laid out and perfect for 4 with the additional bedroom. Very quite area and Valerie is very welcoming. Also very pet friendly. Thank you Valerie, you have a great place and hope to see you again. Highly recommend!

Gateway to Horseshoe Heaven

We stayed for 9 days in this wonderful home in idyllic Horseshoe Bay. Everything about the home and Valerie’s very personal touch and hospitality is top notch. The location is convenient for restaurants, Nanaimo ferry trips, Squamish, and nearby Whytcliffe Park. It was warm for a few days, but having AC at the home is a much appreciated luxury. West Vancouver and Vancouver are worth the short car treks. Would highly recommend Ferry Walk House.

Perfect Home-away-from-home

The attention to detail that host Valerie gives is topnotch. She is so kind and friendly. The apartment is so cosy and the bed is so comfy, and has a gorgeous view of Horseshoe Bay only a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get on ferries and highways. Horseshoe Bay is small and quiet with excellent restaurants and unique stores, especially the Spirit Gallery. We'd highly recommend this spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect

Ferry Walk House is the perfect place for a restful, beautiful vacation in B.C. The bus system provides easy access to every thing great. There is a convenient parking space but a car was not needed and made for a more leisurely paced week. Great wi-fi for staying in touch. Bus to Dunderave (sp), walk along the sea to Amble Side for coffee and scone at Savory Island and Pie. Watch for the eagles along the shore. Horse Shoe Bay is breathtaking. H Snyder

Thank you Valerie for providing my 7 month old son, our energetic dog, my sister and I such a wonderful and welcoming stay. We enjoyed the lovely patio very much. It was helpful for me to not have to worry about packing all the baby items as you had everything we needed to make it feel like home. My son was delighted with the exersaucer! I thoroughly enjoyed morning walks to Flour Bakery where I discovered the most delicious chocolate croissants. I hope we will be able to return very soon for another relaxing visit.

Hi Nicola, I am so glad the two of you enjoyed a relaxing holiday. The chocolate croissants at "Flour" are a local secret because they usually sell out by 8:00 AM!! You will have to come again before Cameron gets to big for the exersaucer... he clearly loved it.

Perfect Spot

This was the perfect location for our week in Vancouver. Close to everything we wanted to do. Whistler, Squamish, Capilano, Bowen Island ferry, and into Vancouver. We caught the express bus into downtown.. so convenient. The walk to the waterfront and cafes in Horseshoe Bay was literally 2 mins! So close to everything. Valerie was a wonderful host and the apartment was very nice and comfortable. The little touches were much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this rental! It was pleasure to meet you Valerie and hope to visit again.

Wonderful apartment, location and host

My wife and I stayed at the Ferry Walk House to kick off an 18 day vacation to British Columbia and Washington State. It was the perfect place to start a wonderful vacation. The apartment is clean and spacious with everything in working order and thoughtfully laid out to make for a pleasant stay . The garden behind the apartment is the perfect place to relax and we spent several hours there enjoying each other's company, the weather and some down time. The apartment location conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and a park. We enjoyed visiting with and talking to our host Valerie. She is absolutely charming and had several great suggestions about things to do, where to shop, etc.

Cute town, great getaway

We stayed at the Ferry Walk House for one month while we transitioned to a permanent apartment. This place is awesome! It’s clean and has everything you need to make it home away from home. It’s a 1-2 minute walk to the ferry. There are some restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access to the freeway if you need to go to the city or drive up the mountain. If you bring your four legged family member there is a trail close by (about 200 ft). Your host, Valerie, is a phone call or text away and very responsive to whatever you need. She greeted us on arrival and was there to bid us farewell. All in all I’d say this place is great as a home base for staying in Vancouver.

Fantastic Option

A friend and I stayed at the Ferry House for 8 days in late June and early July. It was exactly as depicted in the listing and Valerie' was a delightful host. She was not at all intrusive, but checked in periodically to see if we needed anything, and was very responsive when we did have a question. The proximity to multiple ferries ( literally 5 minute walk) was a great asset, allowing exploration of areas that were not reachable by car. Vancouver is 20 minutes away, and staying in Horseshoe Bay enabled us to avoid the traffic jams of the city as well as enjoy the quaint seaside village. The private lush garden of Ferry House was one of my most favorite things, allowing us to sit outside most nights with daylight to almost 10. This was our first visit to the area and Ferry House was 5 stars all around. We would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy, clean apt with an amazing host!

We have stayed in many homeaways all over the world and Valerie was one of the most gracious hosts we have ever experienced! The apt is immaculate and goes above and beyond the normal "basics" that you need. It's a great home base to explore all Vancouver has to offer and such a great location - walkable to restaurants, parks, the ferry and more. We comfortably stayed with our 2.5 year old and 5 month old. Valerie had set up the pack and play and booster chair before we arrived and had toys and books that our toddler loved while we were there. The outdoor space/garden is beautiful and relaxing and Valerie was always a text away. We hope to return one day and explore more, sans smoke! Thank you so much Valerie!

I can provide any child-related equipment you need. If I don't have it, I can arrange for rental. For your furry family member, there is a fully-fenced garden.

Horseshoe Bay is a unique part of West Vancouver. There is a village atmosphere and shop owners are friendly and outgoing. The mountain and sea views from the village are forever changing and unfailingly spectacular. I love where I live and when you get here, you will see why!

You will enjoy all the comforts of a home away from home and plenty of brochures to give you ideas about what to see and where to go. Before your arrival I will be sending you a link to my "Welcome Book" with directions, parking information and everything you need to know about your accommodation and the local area. You will find a copy of this book in the suite.

Bus travel is easy. The bus stop is 2 minutes away from the house, opposite the ferry terminal, and there is an express bus service into Vancouver every 20 minutes. Travel to the city takes 30 minutes and fares can be paid by cash or credit card.

You can hop on a ferry to Bowen Island (20 minutes), or to the Sunshine Coast (45 minutes), or Vancouver Island (90 minutes).

Whistler Mountain (Winter Olympics 2010) is a 75 minute drive along one of the most scenic highways in the world. Along the way, you can visit Squamish, boasting a gondola with incredible views of the surrounding area.

You can also rent a boat or take the guided "Sea Safari" tour from Sewell's Marina - 3 minutes walk from the house. You can walk to a coastal park and beach, or visit Lighthouse Park with trails running through the awe inspiring forest. For golfers, Gleneagles golf course is 5 minutes away. The opportunities and activities are endless!
