The house was amazing. Very close to the beach. The master bedroom was awesome. All the bedrooms were nice. I would recommend in the listing regarding the stairs that the house may be hard on older individuals. It worked fine with our group but it may not work with all. Margie was wonderful and responsive when we had questions. I would definitely recommend this house.

Excellent Location

This property is a super short walk to the beach access and the neighborhood is quiet, safe, and lovely. The beach was not crowded, especially during the week, as most of the area is residential and there is very limited public access. The house is well suited for groups, with a great third floor for meals and conversation and multiple room and bathroom options.

Perfect location

Great house for our family vacation. Beautiful location only a few minutes from the beach. Quiet friendly neighborhood. House was spacious with plenty of room for our families and kids. Kids loved watching people from the 3rd floor balcony. Only a short 5 minute drive to the boardwalk and all the Virginia beach attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Easy access

It was easy access everywhere. The stores were very close only a few miles down the road and so was the board walk. We LOVED that beach access was a block away and we literally walked over every single night.

We Got Lucky

Random search turned up this gem at Croatan Beach. Beautiful, clean home in a limited access community a block from the beach. Tons of stuff to do locally. Big aquarium close by in case of rain. Even Busch Gardens is only an hour away. Everyone loved the house. My two grandsons gave it two thumbs-up.

Awesome beautiful place one street from the beach. It’s about a 2 minute walk to beach

We had a great time. We go to this same beach every year. This is our first stay at this particular house and it was a great experience. The house is very nice. 3 story’s. There are 3.5 bathrooms that are all in great shape. The master bedroom is very large with lots of closets and a private bath. This would be a perfect house for a 2 large family’s or 3 small family’s. We had 9 people and at no time did anyone feel claustrophobic. The garage was spacious and plenty for a car to fit or for all of your gear. The rest of the bedrooms are all good sized. The top floor living room kitchen space would be alittle harder for old people to get up to the top but having that deck up there was awesome. There was plenty of cabinet space and even a pantry. The shelves were stocked with plates and cups that were easily cleaned in the dish washer. The house was set up nicely and we just had to get the basics to get started. Bed sheets, pillow cases, toilet paper and paper towels are needed to be brought. Though there was a roll of TP in each bathroom to get you started. Everything else was set up ready to go. The beds all had nice blankets and coverings already there. As stated before, only sheets and pillow cases are needed. I would definitely recommend this place and Margie is awesome! Very easy to get ahold of and has a very nice set of instructions to get us in and out. Thanks! We will be back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was amazing! Literally a nice stroll to the beach, perhaps a 2 minute walk. The neighborhood was so quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The house was comfortable and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. We had 4 teenagers with us, so having 2 refrigerators was very handy. There was more than enough space for all of us. The livingroom and kitchen on the top floor provided us with loads of space to entertain each other on rainy days. We played games on the large dining room table, watched movies in the livingroom with enough seating for us all, and enjoyed just hanging out on the upper deck. Management was quick to respond to everything, not that there was much need. When the propane tank ran out of gas for the grill, it was replaced right away. The AC worked so well, the children complained of being cold lol. My only regret currently is that I didn't take the sheets off the bed to see what kind of mattress I was sleeping on, it cradled me like a baby. I woke up refreshed every morning without the aches and pains. Sleeping in my own bed last night reminded me of sleeping on a rock in comparison! I need the brand of that mattress! We will return again in the future.

Croatan Beach getaway

Overall the property is quite nice, the location is terrific, close to everything but away from the noise of the Va. Beach Boardwalk, lovely quiet beach. The house was well equipped with all the essentials, cutlery, kitchen tools, Cups plates etc. The furniture in the living areas was more than adequate and very comfortable. The bedrooms however need some attention: 1. The master bedroom mattresses seem old and creaked loudly when a body moved on them, to such a degree that when one person moved the noise often caused their partner to wake. 2. This was also the case in the room with the double beds. 3. I would suggest replacing all the mattresses in the property. 4. The doors in the bedrooms need to have the hinges oiled as they squeak loudly when moved. We also noticed some ants in the kitchen so some treatment might be needed.

Great Home. Fabulous location.

Our family of 10 absolutely loved the vacation rental. The home was in a lovely area with close access to a very nice beach. The check in process was painless. When we arrived at the home, it was immaculately clean and just as advertised. There was plenty of room for all the family. Having 3.5 washrooms and an outdoor shower worked very well especially after a beach day. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was in good working order. The large deck off the living room was used continuously. Neighbours were all very friendly. We would definitely come back to this house again.

Great location

We all really enjoyed the location, spent time every day at the beach that was a block away. The house was comfortable enough for all of us to relax and have our own private area. The first floor beds are very firm and the mattresses are loud. There are a few things/places that could use an update or refresh but in all the house served it's purpose well for us!
