Cette maison récemment rénové bien situé est un endroit parfait pour une famille, ou 4 filles courses, 4 gars golf aller, ou 2 couples partageant des vacances dans le comté de Door. Il sert à être un / 1 salle de bain lieu de 3 chambres avec une ancienne cuisine, mais nous avons complètement vidé et rénové pour répondre aux besoins des vacanciers. Maintenant, deux chambres confortables ont attaché salles de bains avec douches joliment carrelée, accessibles à partir de votre chambre ou le couloir. Nos chambres sont équipées de lits king ou peuvent être configurées en lits jumeaux si cela répond mieux à vos besoins. Profitez de câble TV ou un film à partir de votre lit. La cuisine est belle et spacieuse de sorte que vous pouvez cuisiner dans - ou cuire sur le gril. Il est bien approvisionné avec des ustensiles de cuisine et les appareils afin que vous puissiez profiter de la fixation d'un repas dans votre maison loin de la maison. Grill une tempête ... Prenez une course ... regarder un match au champ voisin - ce qui est un excellent endroit pour se détendre! Si vous voulez de belles nouveaux lits et les draps, salles de bains privées pour chaque chambre, une cuisine bien équipée, une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse, et un endroit confortable pour se détendre, cela pourrait être l'endroit pour vous! Nice place to stay for 2 couples, The kitchen was especially well stocked with pots/pans, bowls, dishes and utinsels. Very clean and comfortable beds.

Second time staying at the Yellow House, and we appreciate the upgrades! Perfect place for 2 couples, and equipped with everything we needed. A short walk into Downtown Egg Harbor and great location for exploring all of the Door: theater, trolley tours, restaurants, wineries, state parks, and more. Highly recommend this property for comfort and a lovely place to hang out on the porch or in the spacious back yard.

We liked the location and the house was suitable for our girls vacation. The house was clean and had a lot of towels available. We were in Door County when a storm went through and the owners reached out to check on us.

We had an amazing stay in the yellow house in Egg Harbor! The house was very clean, had updated bathrooms and air units, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked! The location was perfect as we enjoyed walking into town each day.We spent a lot of time on the front porch, which was shaded and had a cool breeze, along with beautiful lights of the sun and moon at night. We truly enjoyed the quieter pace of Egg Harbor, which still offered plenty to do, especially compared to the crowded atmosphere of other towns. After many years of coming to Door County this was our first VRBO experience and we were not disappointed! We would love to stay again!

Perfect girlfriend getaway

We loved staying at the Yellow House: myself and girlfriends who go to Door County every summer for Plein Air week. Very good communication with host and property manager. Very responsive.Easy check-in (lock box), lovely, clean lodging. We wanted for nothing. Well stocked kitchen, and the host had the king beds turned into twins for us. We loved sitting on the front porch to enjoy morning coffee, and playing Farkle and Mexican Train Dominoes at the table. Comfortable furniture and adequate lighting to read, including at the bedsides. A/C was appreciated in this elevated heat. Well-located to get anywhere on the Door. We had a great time.

Great house

We enjoyed staying at The Little Yellow House. Great location. It’s on a busy road, but you don’t hear the traffic with the windows closed. The front porch is absolutely charming and comfortable as well. The house was immaculate.

Clean, well stocked, and quiet area

The house was great with two bedroom with en suite bathrooms. It was perfect for two couples. (Though the beds can be split into twin beds rather than configured as king beds.) The towels were very nice and the beds comfortable. The house is right on Highway 42 and next to a motel. The motel was closed during our stay. It was surprising very quiet and easy to walk into egg harbor without being right in the noisy areas. If the motel reopens, it might be slightly different. We’d stay here again! For the owner:The back bathroom/bedroom shower stall is leaking at the non-hinge lower corner. It appears it has been leaking for some time as the bottom of the floorboards are stained in the basement and it appears that there might be some mold growing behind the drywall in the separation wall.

The location of this property is fabulous! Walk to shops and restaurants in lovely Egg Harbor. The two en suite bedrooms is soooo wonderful! Both with televisions and nice lamps for reading in bed.

Convenient and comfortable

We used the house as a landing spot for our adventures. We didn't cook, only made coffee and used the refrigerator. House size was perfect for 2 couples. Loved the porch - a little noisy, but pleasant. We stayed 4 nights, could have used more towels, but overall it was a great place to stay.

Egg harbor stay

It was perfect. We were meeting a couple of dozen friends at a local campground, and was perfect for us since we don’t camp. Beds were comfortable and we had all the conveniences of home. Plus that we had our bedroom with a king size bed and our own private bathroom and our friends that stayed with us did too

Door County Family Wine Tasting

We stayed at the yellow house for four nights. It's a great location for anything you want to experience in Door county. The beds are comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Some of our favorite stops were Stones Throw and Door Peninsula Winery, Harbor Fish and Grille in Bailey's Harbor for dinner, and The White Gull Inn in Fish Creek for breakfast. We highly recommend the Yellow House in Egg Harbor to anyone who wants to enjoy Door County!

Love the Porch

This little yellow house has everthing you need. It is so nicely decorated with attention to details. We found cute little Door County items throughout. The bedrooms are big enough and the beds were comfortable. Having the connected bathrooms was so nice. We did not cook, but it looked like the kitchen was well equipped. We spent most of our time on the lovely front porch for coffee or cocktails. Sometimes there was traffic noise but who cares. In a previous review someone mentioned the room air conditioners. When we stayed it was very hot outside and we felt by keeping the bedroom doors open when not sleeping the rest of the house was well cooled and the bedrooms were perfect at night. It was actually nice to be able to choose how cool each bedroom would be as one person in our party likes it cold and the other does not. With having the adjoining bathroom, the air could blow directly into it too. It was nice to have the ceiling fans too. Because it was so hot, we actually brought a fan out on the porch so we were able to enjoy it. We just loved this place.

Ideal location in Egg Harbor

Overall, we were very happy with this rental. It was wonderful to be in a house with a nice yard and in easy walking distance to the market and eateries and shops of Egg Harbor. We loved the front porch. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean. A few of us were unhappy with the quality of the mattresses. We could not get the TV in one of the bedrooms to function. Also, we discovered that the lack of central A/C in July was a bit of an issue. The bedrooms are easily cooled with window units but the LR and kitchen were uncomfortably warm during our stay in late July.

Yellow house vacation

The place was a great location and i loved having a full house in door county. The place was exactly as described. The place was not perfect with a todler as there was no deadbolt or was to keep the outside door locked from the inside. Other than that no complaints.

As frequent (annual) visitors to Door County, we like to vary where we stay. This time, we were here with another couple, and the Yellow House was perfect — convenient location, great amenities, comfort, and seamless interactions with the host. We highly recommend it!

June 2024 - Yellow House

The place was just as advertised. Perfect for two couples. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Lynn was great!! She's very responsive and had lots of ideas for things to do. We have a couple of suggestions for fun things to do if you don’t already have them on your list. We booked a 2.5 hr Segway tour in Bailey’s Harbor that was a lot of fun. Riding a Segway is super easy - don't be intimidated if you've never been on one! We also went on a wine, cheese and chocolate tour with Door County Trolley that was also a great time and very tasty. But the best was a glass class at Burnt Bluff Glassworks in Fish Creek. The four of us made something from hot glass - two paperweights and two bowls. HIGHLY recommend that; we would do that again! For the adults, Hatch Distilling in Egg harbor (within walking distance of the Yellow House!) pours a good cocktail! :-) Thanks again - that was the first visit to Door County for three of us, but it won’t be the last!

As a person who enjoys outdoor participation, I have been active in Door County for over 50 years, since high school. I love the combination of land and water and love to share it through the Yellow House. I personally like to spend time sailing, kayaking, biking and hiking. I live on Lake Michigan in Oostburg, WI, but travel frequently to Egg Harbor to visit my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren who live in Egg Harbor year-round.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This was originally my son's first home. When he and his family outgrew it, I thought the best use of this great location would be to set it up for vacationers. It lets me share a favorite spot. My son and daughter-in-law still live nearby.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This is the first house on the right as you come into Egg Harbor, from the South. Egg Harbor is growing with many fun opportunities, and the Yellow House is close to everything. It is also convenient, and central to everything in the county. Most of the county villages are within 25 minutes with the most distant being about 45 minutes along beautiful county roads. The Yellow House meets a sojourner's needs. It's clean and functional, nothing fussy, just easy! Relax and enjoy your stay.
